About: I have been working with dogs my whole life. I grew up with two dogs and have provided them with feedings, medication, baths, training, walks, etc. I also worked for a dog boarding company for two years where I supervised group play time, gave feedings and medications, worked with reactive dogs, dogs with high anxiety, and complicated medical needs, changed diapers, and cleaned up after them. I have also taken care of many neighbors animals (dogs and cats) as they have gone out of town. One of my dogs is dog reactive and has a high prey drive, so I have learned how to work with him and other dogs like him, knowing that his needs are a little different. I have worked with all types of dogs. Old, young, reactive, friendly, etc. I understand that each dog has a different personality and different needs, and am happy to get to know each dog and accommodate to them. I am currently working a part time job. This summer I will be working 3 days a week so I will have plenty of time to check in on your pet(s). I am available for check-ins any day of the week and will work around and communicate my schedule with you as necessary. :) I understand that each person does things a little differently. I ask where the pets belongings and anything they may need is. That is all I touch in someone’s home (other than maybe the sink to wash my hands) :). If your pet has special needs, I am happy to change what I do based on that. I will use their personal food, harnesses, and leashes when going on walks to keep them as comfortable with me as possible. I stick to the routine that they are used to and am able to crate them if wanted.

I had a husky growing up, and now I rescued one of my own — so I’m very used to daily walks, playtime, structure, and staying active. I’m also a foster mom, which has given me experience with dogs of different temperaments, backgrounds, and needs. Caring for foster dogs has taught me patience, adaptability, and how important it is to make every dog feel safe and comfortable. Over the years, I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs — from small Yorkie/Shih Tzus to big Labs. I’m comfortable with different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I also have experience administering medications, including oral medications, eye drops, ear drops, and other basic care needs. You can feel confident knowing your pet is in capable and attentive hands. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and right at home. 🐾 Pet care fits easily into my routine! I currently work in the service industry, which gives me a fairly flexible schedule. My usual days off are Wednesdays and Thursdays, which allows for extended availability those days. On most other days, I’m available for morning walks and check-ins if you reach out in advance. Since I already have an active routine with my own dog, adding walks and care for your pup fits in perfectly. I’m happy to communicate and coordinate to find times that work best for both of us! 🐾 I treat every pet like they’re part of my family, with care, respect, and plenty of love. My husky has gone through several training courses, so I’m used to teaching commands, helping with training, and teaching new tricks when needed.
