About: I’ve always loved animals and have years of hands on experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities. I recently cared for my own pup throughout her 13 wonderful years of life, which taught me how important patience, love, and trust are when it comes to pet care. I also help care for my brother’s dogs a Golden Retriever/Lab mix and two Dachshunds so I’m comfortable with both large and small breeds. Being from Monterey County, I love staying active and going on walks and hikes, so your pup will get plenty of attention, exercise, and care with me! I work full time as a supervisor at Starbucks, so my schedule varies and stays pretty flexible throughout the week. About: Both dogs and cats have been a part of my life for a while now. In the last few years I've transitioned from cat to dog owner. I pride myself in training both my dogs to be well-behaved, loving and friendly. I've helped care for dogs belonging to friends and family, and if I'm not caring for a dog you'll likely find me at a park with my dogs doing a lot of outdoor activities! My current job is flexible so I can schedule walks and visits freely. If recurring walks/visits are of interest, I'm happy to work something out. Being outdoors with my dogs daily is of incredible importance to me. It means my dogs are happy and healthy, which helps them with their long-term health as well.

About: I enjoy the company of animals and catering to them while their owners are unable to due to work, personal obligations, or vacation. About: For the past four years, I have raised and cared for chickens, lambs, and goats for our county fair. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning pens, changing water, and walking and training each animal one to two times daily. I always made sure to dedicate consistent, quality time to properly train and care for each of my animals. While these are not the specific types of animals I would be caring for in this position, I believe this experience reflects my strong work ethic, responsibility, and ability to care for animals of all sizes and needs. In addition to my fair experience, I have had animals my entire life. Currently, I have three dogs and ten chickens at home, and I am responsible for their daily care, including feeding, cleaning, and overall needs. My oldest dog is 15 years old, and I have been primarily responsible for his care for the past seven years. Most of my experience is with small dogs under 20 pounds, but I have also walked and cared for larger dogs weighing around 100 pounds. Additionally I have been a prominent member of Tokay FFA’s Veterinary science team, on this team I’ve learned dozens of minor medical procedures that I am confident in doing such as administration of various medications via oral, aural, and injections, bandage wrapping and removal, and the concept of safe handling with all kinds of animals. I am well versed in many species of animals, ages, and sizes so I hope to be a good fit for your beloved pets. I am currently on summer break and will be attending college this coming fall, as of right now my schedule is fairly open. T is a few days where my hours may change, but overall I am available at all times of day every day to fit your needs. Times are subject to change and if I ever have a conflict I will be sure to notify you with proper prior notice to ensure your pets are taken care of. If there is fences at your home I will always be sure to lock and close them behind me if your pets are inside, I am also well versed in handling larger dogs/animals so I will not easily be pushed to the side if your pet is prone to doing so. I am confident in my animal handling skills and if your dog needs to be fenced in or crated I am confident I can do so.

About: I’ve been around of medium/large dogs essentially my entire life and have provided care to them during every stage of their lives. I posses the confidence, patience, and discipline needed to care for young pets and those in training. I’d love to meet your fur babes soon! I am actively searching for full-time employment, so I have lots of time to play and train with your pets. I do have my own working dog, who has daily needs to be fulfilled. I have a field line Labrador who has a neutral demeanor and typically pays no mind to other animals. About: Kevin and I have both been caring for dogs and many other types of animals for our entire lives and absolutely couldn’t envision our life without several animals. Kevin has grown up around a family dog business - participating in AKC scent trials, agility training, boarding and almost any other type of dog event & training you can imagine. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire lifetime and used to help foster kittens as a child and teenager. We currently have two dogs, several cats, chickens, turkeys and more. Your animals will be in safe and caring hands with us! We both work but set our own schedules and/or work from home so your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. Since we have animals of our own, caring for additional pets is not a problem and part of our normal lifestyle. We have a large fenced dog run outside, in home kennel area, along with crates for crate trained dogs. Our property is about 5 acres and fully fenced with front gates so dogs cannot leave the area. We also have a couple large lawns we use for doggy playtime, fetch and training sessions.

Frequent home check-ins or dog walks are provided in the immediate Lodi area. All pets have their own preference. When boarding at Sleepy Pooch, pets are well supervised. Frequent outdoor activity is offered in a large fenced back yard. Larger dogs can be walked daily, if desired. Your loved one can sleep in the bedroom, alone in a kennel, or with the host’s pooch if he/she prefers. For pets who prefer to stay home, your host assures security of your property when entering and exiting. A mask will be worn at all times while inside your home. I assess the situation to identify any housekeeping issues that need to be addressed to keep your pet and home safe while you are away. Any mail or packages are brought inside. Cat boxes will be thoroughly cleaned at all times. Rest assured that I will take responsibility for your pet as if he/she is one of my own family members. DOG WALKING NOTE. Please have doggy leashed and ready to pick up for their walk. About: I have a wide range of experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from lower energy Pomeranians to high energy German shepards as well as a couple pitty mixes. I have some experience with senior dogs that required diapers and patience when moving. I’ve also helped with crate training and potty training dogs successfully. As for cats, I have a deeper description in the cat care section, but I’ve cared for cats of all ages who all had different personalities. I have covers so furniture won’t be damaged in case of clawing or scratching, and I have experience administering medication orally and to the eyes. My schedule this summer is currently fully open, so I would be able to care for your animal at all times. I would be away from my house as most for thirty twice a day, but if the animal does okay in the car they could come for the car ride as well if needed. I have a fully fenced yard with one cat who is an outside cat and does not care to come inside. In my home they would be aloud to roam around the common areas with bedroom doors shut. It is a one story house, so it’s easy on your animals joints. In my home I prefer to have the animals not on the couches and the house is cleaned thoroughly after every animal to prevent the spreading of anything past clients may have. In the neighborhood there is plenty of safe space to go for long walks.

She showed up as a skidish stray cat in our backyard, and I slowly lured her in with a treat trail. I befriended her and gave her pets. Instantly, the two of us connected even though she was wild. I took her to the vet to be adopted, and the vet said she was going to have kittens! I still have the ultrasound images of the four little spinal cords in her belly. :) Two of them I still own and the other two were adopted by friends. Sadly, Em is no longer with us, but Cleo and Chateau have grown up to be cute healthy little puritos. I saved my Texas kitty, Eliot, from being cornered by another wild cat while I was going to school. Once he walked into my apartment, I knew it was love at first sight. He is my travel buddy and has been to 5 states! Marshall is our little geriatric kitty (18 years, 88-89 in human years). She is a little love who likes to lick human noses and sleep all day.
