I have had over 10 years of taking care of animals, but 4 professionally in a kennel and in shelters! I love working with all sizes, ages, and varieties!! We have a large fenced dog run outside, in home kennel area, along with crates for crate trained dogs. Our property is about 5 acres and fully fenced with front gates so dogs cannot leave the area. I'm available full time for dog walks, home visits, or pet sitting in your home. My preferred time to walk your dog is between 9-5 any day of the week. I come to your home and care for your pets in the way we agree upon meeting. Feeding, walking, and playing with your pets while you are away, so you can have peace of mind.
About: Both dogs and cats have been a part of my life for a while now. In the last few years I've transitioned from cat to dog owner. I pride myself in training both my dogs to be well-behaved, loving and friendly. I've helped care for dogs belonging to friends and family, and if I'm not caring for a dog you'll likely find me at a park with my dogs doing a lot of outdoor activities! My current job is flexible so I can schedule walks and visits freely. If recurring walks/visits are of interest, I'm happy to work something out. Being outdoors with my dogs daily is of incredible importance to me. It means my dogs are happy and healthy, which helps them with their long-term health as well.

About: I personally cared for my three boxers (Cassius, Braddock & Annie) for ten years. Two of my Boxers passed from cancer (brain tumor & spinal cancer.) I cared for them alone (other than vet help of course) until the end. I am comfortable with caring for sick and elderly animals, which includes administering oral medication. I am very observant and once I spend time with animals I am keen to pick up on any behavior or health issues. I currently have two very spoiled cats (Axel & Asher - 1 year 2 months old). I didn't want another dog full time but I miss walking dogs and the companionship and fun it brings so this is why I am looking to walk and care for others in need of help. I understand the time, energy and financial investment it takes as well the need for help. I cared for my animals alone along with the help of a great friend when needed. My calendar will show I am not available on the weekends, although if you need care after 6pm please contact me to see if we can work something out. I do not offer overnight care in your home or mine. I am open to several drop in's per day if less than 20 miles from my home. I am currently offering part time services and am open in mornings, afternoon or evenings based on my calendar availability. I work full time from home and can work with you on a schedule if needed. I am able to come to others home for food, bathroom breaks or time to play or walks helping them to not become lonely or bored.

She showed up as a skidish stray cat in our backyard, and I slowly lured her in with a treat trail. I befriended her and gave her pets. Instantly, the two of us connected even though she was wild. I took her to the vet to be adopted, and the vet said she was going to have kittens! I still have the ultrasound images of the four little spinal cords in her belly. :) Two of them I still own and the other two were adopted by friends. Sadly, Em is no longer with us, but Cleo and Chateau have grown up to be cute healthy little puritos. I saved my Texas kitty, Eliot, from being cornered by another wild cat while I was going to school. Once he walked into my apartment, I knew it was love at first sight. He is my travel buddy and has been to 5 states! Marshall is our little geriatric kitty (18 years, 88-89 in human years). She is a little love who likes to lick human noses and sleep all day. I would be happy to care for your fur babies while you are away. I will send you fur baby updates and take pictures of your fur babies to keep you in the loop. Meet and greets are a perfect way to get to know you and your fur babies before booking a service. I would prefer a virtual meet and greet over Facetime or Zoom since meet and greets are usually unpaid.
