About: Kevin and I have both been caring for dogs and many other types of animals for our entire lives and absolutely couldn’t envision our life without several animals. Kevin has grown up around a family dog business - participating in AKC scent trials, agility training, boarding and almost any other type of dog event & training you can imagine. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire lifetime and used to help foster kittens as a child and teenager. We currently have two dogs, several cats, chickens, turkeys and more. Your animals will be in safe and caring hands with us! We both work but set our own schedules and/or work from home so your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. Since we have animals of our own, caring for additional pets is not a problem and part of our normal lifestyle. We have a large fenced dog run outside, in home kennel area, along with crates for crate trained dogs. Our property is about 5 acres and fully fenced with front gates so dogs cannot leave the area. We also have a couple large lawns we use for doggy playtime, fetch and training sessions.

About: For the past four years, I have raised and cared for chickens, lambs, and goats for our county fair. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning pens, changing water, and walking and training each animal one to two times daily. I always made sure to dedicate consistent, quality time to properly train and care for each of my animals. While these are not the specific types of animals I would be caring for in this position, I believe this experience reflects my strong work ethic, responsibility, and ability to care for animals of all sizes and needs. In addition to my fair experience, I have had animals my entire life. Currently, I have three dogs and ten chickens at home, and I am responsible for their daily care, including feeding, cleaning, and overall needs. My oldest dog is 15 years old, and I have been primarily responsible for his care for the past seven years. Most of my experience is with small dogs under 20 pounds, but I have also walked and cared for larger dogs weighing around 100 pounds. Additionally I have been a prominent member of Tokay FFA’s Veterinary science team, on this team I’ve learned dozens of minor medical procedures that I am confident in doing such as administration of various medications via oral, aural, and injections, bandage wrapping and removal, and the concept of safe handling with all kinds of animals. I am well versed in many species of animals, ages, and sizes so I hope to be a good fit for your beloved pets. I am currently on summer break and will be attending college this coming fall, as of right now my schedule is fairly open. T is a few days where my hours may change, but overall I am available at all times of day every day to fit your needs. Times are subject to change and if I ever have a conflict I will be sure to notify you with proper prior notice to ensure your pets are taken care of. If there is fences at your home I will always be sure to lock and close them behind me if your pets are inside, I am also well versed in handling larger dogs/animals so I will not easily be pushed to the side if your pet is prone to doing so. I am confident in my animal handling skills and if your dog needs to be fenced in or crated I am confident I can do so.

About: I’ve always loved animals and have years of hands on experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities. I recently cared for my own pup throughout her 13 wonderful years of life, which taught me how important patience, love, and trust are when it comes to pet care. I also help care for my brother’s dogs a Golden Retriever/Lab mix and two Dachshunds so I’m comfortable with both large and small breeds. Being from Monterey County, I love staying active and going on walks and hikes, so your pup will get plenty of attention, exercise, and care with me! About: Both dogs and cats have been a part of my life for a while now. In the last few years I've transitioned from cat to dog owner. I pride myself in training both my dogs to be well-behaved, loving and friendly. I've helped care for dogs belonging to friends and family, and if I'm not caring for a dog you'll likely find me at a park with my dogs doing a lot of outdoor activities! About: I personally cared for my three boxers (Cassius, Braddock & Annie) for ten years. Two of my Boxers passed from cancer (brain tumor & spinal cancer.) I cared for them alone (other than vet help of course) until the end. I am comfortable with caring for sick and elderly animals, which includes administering oral medication. I am very observant and once I spend time with animals I am keen to pick up on any behavior or health issues. I currently have two very spoiled cats (Axel & Asher - 1 year 2 months old). I didn't want another dog full time but I miss walking dogs and the companionship and fun it brings so this is why I am looking to walk and care for others in need of help. I understand the time, energy and financial investment it takes as well the need for help. I cared for my animals alone along with the help of a great friend when needed. My calendar will show I am not available on the weekends, although if you need care after 6pm please contact me to see if we can work something out. I do not offer overnight care in your home or mine. I am open to several drop in's per day if less than 20 miles from my home. I am currently offering part time services and am open in mornings, afternoon or evenings based on my calendar availability. I work full time from home and can work with you on a schedule if needed. To keep you in the loop, I provide detailed Rover Cards after every visit. You’ll receive photos of our adventures, a map of our walk, and a summary of all 'business' handled. If a mess occurred while you were away, I handle the clean-up discreetly and thoroughly so you can come home to a fresh house and a happy, relaxed pet.

She showed up as a skidish stray cat in our backyard, and I slowly lured her in with a treat trail. I befriended her and gave her pets. Instantly, the two of us connected even though she was wild. I took her to the vet to be adopted, and the vet said she was going to have kittens! I still have the ultrasound images of the four little spinal cords in her belly. :) Two of them I still own and the other two were adopted by friends. Sadly, Em is no longer with us, but Cleo and Chateau have grown up to be cute healthy little puritos. I saved my Texas kitty, Eliot, from being cornered by another wild cat while I was going to school. Once he walked into my apartment, I knew it was love at first sight. He is my travel buddy and has been to 5 states! Marshall is our little geriatric kitty (18 years, 88-89 in human years). She is a little love who likes to lick human noses and sleep all day.
