About: For the past four years, I have raised and cared for chickens, lambs, and goats for our county fair. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning pens, changing water, and walking and training each animal one to two times daily. I always made sure to dedicate consistent, quality time to properly train and care for each of my animals. While these are not the specific types of animals I would be caring for in this position, I believe this experience reflects my strong work ethic, responsibility, and ability to care for animals of all sizes and needs. In addition to my fair experience, I have had animals my entire life. Currently, I have three dogs and ten chickens at home, and I am responsible for their daily care, including feeding, cleaning, and overall needs. My oldest dog is 15 years old, and I have been primarily responsible for his care for the past seven years. Most of my experience is with small dogs under 20 pounds, but I have also walked and cared for larger dogs weighing around 100 pounds. Additionally I have been a prominent member of Tokay FFA’s Veterinary science team, on this team I’ve learned dozens of minor medical procedures that I am confident in doing such as administration of various medications via oral, aural, and injections, bandage wrapping and removal, and the concept of safe handling with all kinds of animals. I am well versed in many species of animals, ages, and sizes so I hope to be a good fit for your beloved pets. I am currently on summer break and will be attending college this coming fall, as of right now my schedule is fairly open. T is a few days where my hours may change, but overall I am available at all times of day every day to fit your needs. Times are subject to change and if I ever have a conflict I will be sure to notify you with proper prior notice to ensure your pets are taken care of. If there is fences at your home I will always be sure to lock and close them behind me if your pets are inside, I am also well versed in handling larger dogs/animals so I will not easily be pushed to the side if your pet is prone to doing so. I am confident in my animal handling skills and if your dog needs to be fenced in or crated I am confident I can do so.

About: Kevin and I have both been caring for dogs and many other types of animals for our entire lives and absolutely couldn’t envision our life without several animals. Kevin has grown up around a family dog business - participating in AKC scent trials, agility training, boarding and almost any other type of dog event & training you can imagine. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire lifetime and used to help foster kittens as a child and teenager. We currently have two dogs, several cats, chickens, turkeys and more. Your animals will be in safe and caring hands with us! We both work but set our own schedules and/or work from home so your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. Since we have animals of our own, caring for additional pets is not a problem and part of our normal lifestyle. We have a large fenced dog run outside, in home kennel area, along with crates for crate trained dogs. Our property is about 5 acres and fully fenced with front gates so dogs cannot leave the area. We also have a couple large lawns we use for doggy playtime, fetch and training sessions.

About: I’ve had dogs around me since I was a baby! Growing up I’d take our dogs on vacations regularly so I am well equip to know how to feed, walk, and care for any dog in any environment. I also have volunteered at our local animal shelter which has taught me how to care for dogs who may not be the best behaved. I am a full time college student with a very flexible schedule. I have classes throughout the week, but plenty of free time in between the classes to care for your pets. I am a kinesiology major, meaning I love being active! To keep you in the loop, I provide detailed Rover Cards after every visit. You’ll receive photos of our adventures, a map of our walk, and a summary of all 'business' handled. If a mess occurred while you were away, I handle the clean-up discreetly and thoroughly so you can come home to a fresh house and a happy, relaxed pet.

About: I have been a pet owner since I entered the world. Most of my experience is with dogs, but I do have two cats. As of now, most of my pet-sitting jobs have been for close family friends. Your loved one can sleep in the bedroom, alone in a kennel, or with the host’s pooch if he/she prefers. For pets who prefer to stay home, your host assures security of your property when entering and exiting. A mask will be worn at all times while inside your home. I assess the situation to identify any housekeeping issues that need to be addressed to keep your pet and home safe while you are away. Any mail or packages are brought inside. Cat boxes will be thoroughly cleaned at all times. Rest assured that I will take responsibility for your pet as if he/she is one of my own family members. DOG WALKING NOTE. I took her to the vet to be adopted, and the vet said she was going to have kittens! I still have the ultrasound images of the four little spinal cords in her belly. :) Two of them I still own and the other two were adopted by friends. Sadly, Em is no longer with us, but Cleo and Chateau have grown up to be cute healthy little puritos. I saved my Texas kitty, Eliot, from being cornered by another wild cat while I was going to school. Once he walked into my apartment, I knew it was love at first sight. He is my travel buddy and has been to 5 states! Marshall is our little geriatric kitty (18 years, 88-89 in human years). She is a little love who likes to lick human noses and sleep all day. About: I have over 10 years of experience in pet boarding and looking after the pets of my friends and family. I have assisted in training puppies as well as adult dogs, so I am more than happy to assist in training your animals while you're away by keeping up a specific schedule or regimen. I also have personal experience caring for elderly dogs as well as dogs with anxiety disorders, happy to work with them in any special ways needed. I typically find myself doing a lot of my busy work and essential activities in the afternoons and evenings. For this reason, majority of my availability for short visits will be in the mornings, but happy to discuss other arrangements if needed. About: I grew up with dogs and cats and now have my own. They are my family and I will treat yours like they were my own. I am an animal advocate for shelter animals cross posting, trying to find rescues, fosters and adopters. I’m am self employed so my schedule is very flexible. This gives me the opportunity to get out of the house and walk, play and hang with new furry friends. I have a dog I take on regular walks at my house and the lake. I feed my cats twice a day and my dog on a schedule. They are all vetted, fully vaccinated and fixed. All animals are welcome here. We live in the country and I have welcomed a lot of stray cats into our home. No animals are turned away. 💗
