Frequent home check-ins or dog walks are provided in the immediate Lodi area. All pets have their own preference. When boarding at Sleepy Pooch, pets are well supervised. Frequent outdoor activity is offered in a large fenced back yard. Larger dogs can be walked daily, if desired. Your loved one can sleep in the bedroom, alone in a kennel, or with the host’s pooch if he/she prefers. For pets who prefer to stay home, your host assures security of your property when entering and exiting. A mask will be worn at all times while inside your home. I assess the situation to identify any housekeeping issues that need to be addressed to keep your pet and home safe while you are away. Any mail or packages are brought inside. I grew up with dogs and have been around them my entire life, so I’m very comfortable with different breeds, personalities, and needs. About: I've been housesitting since 2010, mainly cats and dogs. Multi-pet houses don't bother me and I'm good at keeping with your fur kids' schedules. I have and RVT license that is current and have been an RVT for over 10 years. I took a break from housesitting to work at animal hospitals, including a 24-hour critical care hospital in the ICU. Medications and medical treatments are no problem for me. I have an open schedule and am comfortable with either staying at your home for your pet's comfort, or I can visit everyday to make sure they are cared for. I adjust to their wants and needs and stick to their schedule. I'm low stress and understand that sometimes pets just need to warm up to you. As for my personal pets, there's four cats with totally different personalities that run the house (I just live there).

About: I’ve had dogs around me since I was a baby! Growing up I’d take our dogs on vacations regularly so I am well equip to know how to feed, walk, and care for any dog in any environment. About: I've had pets my whole life from lizards, snack, rats, chinchillas, fish. dogs, cats, even chickens! Our animals are apart of our family and treated as such. We even delivered our own puppies and kittens before. We love to walk and stroll with our big dogs and let our chinchillas perch and catch sun up high. Having experience with so many pets makes us the best fit for any circumstance. Right now we are able to care for pets at night or mainly on the weekends. Usually during the week we are full time workers as well but having our animals crate trained and living close allows us to be home and play often. They would also travel with us to any destination. We do potty breaks every hour and have at least 1-2 long walks a day ranging from 30-45 minutes depending on age and dogs energy level. We feed them based on customer request and like to give them love and treats as often as one lets us. We go to the park daily as well which entails our furry dog friends to come. About: My pet care experience began when I started living with my uncle as a teenager. Back in the Philippines, he would rescue puppies and keep them in the house until he could find them a foster home. After school, I would go straight home and take care of the rescues. I would feed them and keep them hydrated, and then take them out for a walk. I also taught them tricks until they could master it without treats. I strongly believed that training is an essential part of their growth. When I moved here, I adopted Astrid as a puppy and she has been with me for 3 years now. My main skills with pets includes strict attention to time management, understanding their behaviors, and attending to their needs. Other skills include having patience, clear communication with owners, being on time, and being responsible with the duties given. I currently work part-time as a cook in a nursing home. On my days off, I usually stay at home either on my computer or take my dog to play outside. I have a lot of leisure time on these days, and I believe that pet sitting will fulfill these times and keep me busy. In my home, I ensure that my dog sleeps and naps comfortably when tired. I make sure that there’s food for her and water always refilled. I keep my dog active by walking around the neighborhood and going to the playground. I also play the guitar and sing songs to her when there is nothing else to do. When she wants to go outside, I let her run free in the backyard surrounded with fences and have a shaded area for her when it gets too hot. I would also leave the door open in case she wants a colder environment which is inside the house. In a client’s home, I would ensure that their pets are well fed and hydrated. If there is an accident, I would willingly be responsible for that and take care of it. I would make sure that their pets are also being engaged in activities so that they would feel less bored when the parents aren’t home.
