About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, I’m a HUGE animal lover, I’m currently in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician Online Program and loving every minute of it! I’ve dog sat and farm sat for previous coworkers and still do! I have 3 years Veterinary Assistant experience and I'm familiar with dogs body language. I currently don’t have a job right now, nobodies hiring! I have a wide open schedule and can be with your pups all day if needed. I can’t dog sit at my house so it will always have to be your house, but I will do anything you need me to in order for it to be a smooth process. I can walk your dogs if that’s okay with you, I’ll play with them, and spoil them while you’re away!

“Amanda was fantastic! She treated my fur babies like they were her own. She was incredibly accommodating and helpful and professional. I felt completely at ease knowing she would be caring for my pets. She even went above and beyond by allowing me to borrow her doggie stroller for my elderly and blind doggie to use so he wouldn’t feel left out when they went for a walk with my younger dog. I highly recommend her services and I will definitely ask for her services again in the future.”

About: As someone who grew up with dogs, both small and large, I've learned what it takes to make sure the puppies are well cared for, between giving them the right food, making sure they go on walks, and grooming. Our pets are our best friends and so we should take the greatest care of them, and I'm willing to do that for all animals alike. I'm currently a part time worker both on weekends and weekdays and have lots of time to dedicate to taking care of pets. The only time I would not be able to offer my services is dueing weekends. In my home, I have a fenced yard to allow for our big huskies to have space to play and run, offering them toys that I know would keep them entertained. I also make sure to clean my dogs and ensure they eat healthily.
“Liz has been great with Daisy! She is very responsive to messages and questions, always responding within a few minutes. She takes great pictures and provides details of Daisy's walk. It's very reassuring to have someone I can trust to take care of my baby!”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I cared for my own deaf English Bulldog for 10 years, learning how to communicate through touch, patience, and consistency. I also cared for my senior black Lab with hip issues—giving gentle massages and modifying our walks so we could still enjoy time together safely. Over the years, I’ve had experience with dogs, cats, birds, and fish, and I genuinely love being around animals of all kinds. I’m confident administering medications, tending to wounds, and giving extra care to both puppies and senior pets. Every animal is unique, and I take the time to understand their needs so they feel safe, loved, and at home—even when you’re away. When picking up or dropping off your fur baby, plan on no later than 5:00 PM Pet care is a priority in my daily routine. I keep a flexible schedule that allows me to give your pets the time and attention they need. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, their safety and comfort always come first. I take the time to get to know each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel secure and cared for. I follow all instructions carefully—from feeding schedules to medications—and I keep your home clean and respected while you’re away. I create a calm, positive environment, paying close attention to body language and behavior to ensure your pet feels relaxed and safe. I always double-check gates, leashes, and doors, and I never leave pets unsupervised in unsafe situations. You can trust that your pet will be in good hands, receiving gentle care and genuine affection every step of the way.
About: With 20+ years caring for dogs of all ages and breeds, I love puppies, seniors, moms with litters, protective breeds and everything in between. I have a soft spot for rescues, foster dogs, and bonded pairs, giving every furry friend the love and attention they deserve. I’ve also worked with show dogs and have 5+ years of whelping experience, making sure moms and pups thrive. Your pets aren’t just safe with me—they’re loved. 💝 Need help with a vet visit or checkup? I can take care of that too! 🥰 I am currently providing full time doggie & pet care services from my family farm in Wilton. So you can rest assured your loving companion will receive lots of attention, loves, & playtime while staying with our family. 🥰 Our quaint country home is nestled into the heart of Wilton, CA. Your doggie will enjoy lots of freedom to run & play on our 20 fenced acres and lots of exploring with my children and I. We treat all of our pet guests as though they are our own fur babies and truly offer lots of love, affection and playful interaction daily. Currently our pet guests stay inside our house with us when they are not out and about playing and exploring. We keep our home at 75* so you can rest assured they will be comfy cozy on these hot Summer days or those cool Winter nights. You can ask any of my amazing past or repeat clients — when I say your dog will be comfortable, cared for, and loved like one of my own, I truly mean it. 🥰 So many have told me that the love and attention their pets receive here have raised the bar for what they expect in pet care — and that means the world to me. ❤️ Because every dog deserves to feel at home — even when you’re away. 🐾
“Aicha was really great with our very senior dog. she got him out and walking and he seemed very happy to be in her company. I'm glad she was free to take care of him while we were at work.”

“We hired Tatiyana for the first time as a dog walker. She did a great job walking and playing with Mia. She was sweet to Mia and loved our dog and visa versa. Will hire her again and highly recommend her!!”

About: A dog’s trust is earned, and I’ve had many experiences with dogs of various sizes, temperaments and ages. I volunteer at an animal shelter, which has allowed me to pick up on behaviors and quirks, and improved my ability to adapt to anything unpredictable. Safety and comfortability is my utmost priority, but that doesn’t mean I won’t try my hardest to make sure your dog is having fun! I am a uni student, so my free time may vary depending on the day. However I am pretty flexible with time when I’m not commuting or in class, as school is my biggest obligation at the moment. I am easy to reach so I can also send more updates when there’s changes in my schedule. I value safety and comfortability as I believe pets should be regarded on the same level as children. Pets are a lifelong commitment and responsibility, without safety, they can’t feel comfortable. I truly believe animals are the happiest when they feel safe. I currently have a cat who stays indoors but is given the opportunity to go outdoors when the weather is nice (under supervision). She has plenty of toys to keep her mind stimulated, places to hide if she feels overwhelmed, and comfy areas for her to snooze in.
“I don’t know what we’d do without Hans! Probably never be able to leave town again! He’s wonderful with our leash reactive anxious mess, and we came home to a dog who heeled much better than when we left!”

About: I have been a pet owner since I entered the world. Most of my experience is with dogs, but I do have two cats. As of now, most of my pet-sitting jobs have been for close family friends. I am just starting on my Rover journey. I am a college student who is looking to help pay for my college expenses. I'm only offering Friday-Sunday right now since I will be working during the week and don't have a flexible schedule. On the weekends, your dogs will have my full attention :) I do not provide care in my own home. I will work with you to ensure that your pet feels safe with me while I am in their space.

I am currently taking care of my older sister at the moment. Currently just cooking for her in the morning nothing in the way. Other than that I'm looking for Employment snd thought one of my best skills is with animals! I'm free every day of the week at any time, I can work around your schedule! I am perfect for short notices and long schedules, or even multiple days back to back. I am extremely reliable and adaptable. My first sitting/walking job, I had a code for my customers door, she had a ring camera so I would say hi and go right in. All the dogs stuff I knew where it was at, would grab their leashes, treats, toys and bags. I usually have the customers give me a to-do list. I have fed dogs Rae ingredient foods, if you have the diet for your dog like raw meats, eggs, bones, etc I am comfortable with plating it! I'm very hygienic and won't walk if I am sick.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
