She showed up as a skidish stray cat in our backyard, and I slowly lured her in with a treat trail. I befriended her and gave her pets. Instantly, the two of us connected even though she was wild. I took her to the vet to be adopted, and the vet said she was going to have kittens! I still have the ultrasound images of the four little spinal cords in her belly. :) Two of them I still own and the other two were adopted by friends. Sadly, Em is no longer with us, but Cleo and Chateau have grown up to be cute healthy little puritos. I saved my Texas kitty, Eliot, from being cornered by another wild cat while I was going to school. Once he walked into my apartment, I knew it was love at first sight. He is my travel buddy and has been to 5 states! Marshall is our little geriatric kitty (18 years, 88-89 in human years). She is a little love who likes to lick human noses and sleep all day. About: I've been housesitting since 2010, mainly cats and dogs. Multi-pet houses don't bother me and I'm good at keeping with your fur kids' schedules. I have and RVT license that is current and have been an RVT for over 10 years. I took a break from housesitting to work at animal hospitals, including a 24-hour critical care hospital in the ICU. Medications and medical treatments are no problem for me. I have an open schedule and am comfortable with either staying at your home for your pet's comfort, or I can visit everyday to make sure they are cared for. I adjust to their wants and needs and stick to their schedule. I'm low stress and understand that sometimes pets just need to warm up to you. As for my personal pets, there's four cats with totally different personalities that run the house (I just live there).
