About: I have been a pet owner since I entered the world. Most of my experience is with dogs, but I do have two cats. As of now, most of my pet-sitting jobs have been for close family friends. I am just starting on my Rover journey. I am a college student who is looking to help pay for my college expenses. I'm only offering Friday-Sunday right now since I will be working during the week and don't have a flexible schedule. On the weekends, your dogs will have my full attention :) I do not provide care in my own home. I will work with you to ensure that your pet feels safe with me while I am in their space.

About: For the past four years, I have raised and cared for chickens, lambs, and goats for our county fair. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning pens, changing water, and walking and training each animal one to two times daily. I always made sure to dedicate consistent, quality time to properly train and care for each of my animals. While these are not the specific types of animals I would be caring for in this position, I believe this experience reflects my strong work ethic, responsibility, and ability to care for animals of all sizes and needs. In addition to my fair experience, I have had animals my entire life. Currently, I have three dogs and ten chickens at home, and I am responsible for their daily care, including feeding, cleaning, and overall needs. My oldest dog is 15 years old, and I have been primarily responsible for his care for the past seven years. Most of my experience is with small dogs under 20 pounds, but I have also walked and cared for larger dogs weighing around 100 pounds. Additionally I have been a prominent member of Tokay FFA’s Veterinary science team, on this team I’ve learned dozens of minor medical procedures that I am confident in doing such as administration of various medications via oral, aural, and injections, bandage wrapping and removal, and the concept of safe handling with all kinds of animals. I am well versed in many species of animals, ages, and sizes so I hope to be a good fit for your beloved pets. I am currently on summer break and will be attending college this coming fall, as of right now my schedule is fairly open. T is a few days where my hours may change, but overall I am available at all times of day every day to fit your needs. Times are subject to change and if I ever have a conflict I will be sure to notify you with proper prior notice to ensure your pets are taken care of. If there is fences at your home I will always be sure to lock and close them behind me if your pets are inside, I am also well versed in handling larger dogs/animals so I will not easily be pushed to the side if your pet is prone to doing so. I am confident in my animal handling skills and if your dog needs to be fenced in or crated I am confident I can do so.

About: Kevin and I have both been caring for dogs and many other types of animals for our entire lives and absolutely couldn’t envision our life without several animals. Kevin has grown up around a family dog business - participating in AKC scent trials, agility training, boarding and almost any other type of dog event & training you can imagine. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire lifetime and used to help foster kittens as a child and teenager. We currently have two dogs, several cats, chickens, turkeys and more. Your animals will be in safe and caring hands with us! We both work but set our own schedules and/or work from home so your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. Since we have animals of our own, caring for additional pets is not a problem and part of our normal lifestyle. We have a large fenced dog run outside, in home kennel area, along with crates for crate trained dogs. Our property is about 5 acres and fully fenced with front gates so dogs cannot leave the area. We also have a couple large lawns we use for doggy playtime, fetch and training sessions.

About: I have experience taking care of dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes for up to weeks at a time for neighbors and friends. If they could talk I'm sure they'd recommend me - I always have a blast taking care of them and enjoy playing and exploring with them I work from home and generally have a decent amount of time to spend towards my dog. I usually take my dog on 3 or 4 short or medium walks There is a fenced dog play area outside. I usually take the dogs for a walk along the marina. About: I love animals and being able to assist people. I had two cotton de tulears growing up and have watched and cared for my friends chihuahua whenever she vacations. About: It has been said to me that my first words as a child were ... barking! While I don't remember that, I do remember always having a connection with all furry companions. I grew up with dogs and cats and on occasion would visit my great grandparents' ranch, with horses, goats and more. I loved giving the animals snacks. More recently, I moved onto a small farm. I helped take care of over a dozen chickens and 2 turkeys; feeding, watering, cleaning the coop. My formal career experience has been in education. In addition to many childcare and classroom support jobs, I also taught public school for 5 years. In either environment, my natural tendency is using my natural empathy to provide personalized care. I am not only a sitter on Rover, but have used the service myself to board my cat before. I know what it's like to leave your baby in someone else's hands! I work part-time as an in-home Instructor for developmentally disabled adults. This is only during weekdays. My availability will vary due to the unique schedule of that job. For example, if a client has a cold, that would be a cancellation on short notice, which would allow me to be available with Rover. So far I've had sufficient flexibility to pet sit and especially housesit in the area. I will reply to your request ASAP and we can go from there. Thank you! For this reason, I prefer to fill my schedule on a day-to-day basis, or at least weekly. I'm happy to answer any questions about specifics, so there is no confusion. Naturally, I'll provide the same consideration I'd expect from someone taking care of my home or pet. Most owners have written instructions down and that has been helpful. I tend to note things down myself, even if they're very simple, just to assure that they are not forgotten. I'll be detail oriented, focused, careful and respectful.

About: I've been housesitting since 2010, mainly cats and dogs. Multi-pet houses don't bother me and I'm good at keeping with your fur kids' schedules. I have and RVT license that is current and have been an RVT for over 10 years. I took a break from housesitting to work at animal hospitals, including a 24-hour critical care hospital in the ICU. Medications and medical treatments are no problem for me. I have an open schedule and am comfortable with either staying at your home for your pet's comfort, or I can visit everyday to make sure they are cared for. I adjust to their wants and needs and stick to their schedule. I'm low stress and understand that sometimes pets just need to warm up to you. As for my personal pets, there's four cats with totally different personalities that run the house (I just live there).

About: Family and friends always rely on me to care for their dogs (watch , feed, walk, etc). I’ve always loved dogs and willing to do anything for them!! I have a couple animals of my own that i love very much. I currently have lots of free time on my hands and i’d like to spend it by taking care of some animals and helping out! I can work with whatever you have at your house and will do as needed. As long as i’m shown what to do and how to do it everything will be perfect!
