I’m Lauren :) ʚ₍ᐢ.  ̫.ᐢ₎ɞ a at-home veterinary student with a spacious, non-smoking home and a great backyard. Since I study from home, pets get lots of attention and care throughout the day. I have past experience caring for a Yorkie, two shorthair cats, birds, bunnies, and fish, plus 100+ volunteer hours at my local animal shelter. I know it can be hard to trust someone with your pet, so I always do my best to make both pets and owners feel safe, comfortable, and confident. - Animal Experience: 🐾🐕🐈 I’ve personally cared for a Yorkie and two shorthair cats in the past, and I also have experience looking after birds, bunnies, and fish. This has helped me become comfortable with different temperaments, routines, and care needs across a variety of animals. - Volunteering Experience: (•˕ •マ╮ᕤ Along with my personal experience, I have over 100 volunteer hours at my local animal shelter. Working with shelter animals has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to make pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for, even in new environments. - I want every owner to feel reassured knowing their pet will be in kind, attentive, and capable hands with me. I will care for your animal as if they were my own and make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and loved while they’re away from you. I’m an at-home student majoring to become a veterinarian, which means I spend most of my time studying from home and can give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. I live with my mom, who works most of the day, so the home stays calm, quiet, and spacious - a great environment for animals to feel safe and comfortable. Our home is completely non-smoking and has a great, secure backyard with lots of space for playtime, fresh air, and bathroom breaks. Because I’m home so often, your pet would have plenty of company and wouldn’t be left alone for long periods. Lots of healthy treats! Great toys and nourishment:)

I have experience with both big and small dogs, including caring for my aging and sick pup through the end of her life. I’ve also rescued several pitbulls, which taught me patience, compassion, and how to build trust with dogs from all backgrounds. I work part-time from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be available for pet care throughout the week and weekends. I’m able to care for your pup in your home and provide walks, playtime, companionship, and attentive care based on your dog’s individual needs and personality. About: It has been said to me that my first words as a child were ... barking! While I don't remember that, I do remember always having a connection with all furry companions. I grew up with dogs and cats and on occasion would visit my great grandparents' ranch, with horses, goats and more. I loved giving the animals snacks. More recently, I moved onto a small farm. I helped take care of over a dozen chickens and 2 turkeys; feeding, watering, cleaning the coop. My formal career experience has been in education. In addition to many childcare and classroom support jobs, I also taught public school for 5 years. In either environment, my natural tendency is using my natural empathy to provide personalized care. I am not only a sitter on Rover, but have used the service myself to board my cat before. I know what it's like to leave your baby in someone else's hands! Please communicate specifically to me so that we can rest assured all needs are met for your beloved pet(s). I will treat your furry family member like I would want mine to be treated - patiently, attentively, carefully and lovingly - and only ask that you communicate any expectations or other information clearly and thoroughly. I may ask a lot of questions to clarify, and welcome any of yours! (Además soy bilingüe ❤️) I currently update my schedule on a week-by-week basis. I work part-time as an in-home Instructor for developmentally disabled adults. This is only during weekdays. My availability will vary due to the unique schedule of that job. For example, if a client has a cold, that would be a cancellation on short notice, which would allow me to be available with Rover. So far I've had sufficient flexibility to pet sit and especially housesit in the area. I will reply to your request ASAP and we can go from there. Thank you! For this reason, I prefer to fill my schedule on a day-to-day basis, or at least weekly. I'm happy to answer any questions about specifics, so there is no confusion. Naturally, I'll provide the same consideration I'd expect from someone taking care of my home or pet. Most owners have written instructions down and that has been helpful. I tend to note things down myself, even if they're very simple, just to assure that they are not forgotten. I'll be detail oriented, focused, careful and respectful.

About: I've been around and help take care of dogs since I can remember. I am currently taking care of my own furry 4 legged friend I am currently unemployed at the moment so I have plenty of free time on my hands to take your furry friend to the park or on longer walks I have a fenced in back yard (with a pool) and a dog they can play with. I am able to crate them if need be as well

About: Family and friends always rely on me to care for their dogs (watch , feed, walk, etc). I’ve always loved dogs and willing to do anything for them!! I have a couple animals of my own that i love very much. I currently have lots of free time on my hands and i’d like to spend it by taking care of some animals and helping out! I can work with whatever you have at your house and will do as needed. As long as i’m shown what to do and how to do it everything will be perfect!

About: I am 19 years old doing this so I can make some extra money on the side and currently take care of my older brother, who has autism, which has taught me how to remain composed, aware, and reliable in all situations. Those skills are easily applied to pet care, particularly with nervous, timid, or sensitive animals. For example, my own dog has depression anxiety which I make sure to tend to quickly! I can easily fit time with your lovely pets into my daily schedule. I'm free any time after 11AM because I get my brother on the bus at around nine in the morning. Since I'm still learning how to drive, I typically take the bus, train, or Uber to get around. The only thing I know is that I might have to wait until about 5 PM for my mom to return if she works overtime on a Friday, but that rarely ever happens. There is a chance that my schedule can improve so make sure to keep an eye out! I treat every pet under my care as if they were a member of my own family. Making them feel secure, understood, and loved is always my top priority. By feeding them on time, taking them for walks or play, and making sure they receive lots of attention and are comfortable, I try to keep things as simple as possible. I make sure they have everything they require, keep their area neat, and regularly change their water. To reassure the owner that their pet is happy, safe and in good care, I also provide updates and pictures

About: I love animals and being able to assist people. I had two cotton de tulears growing up and have watched and cared for my friends chihuahua whenever she vacations. I am working a part time job with flexible hours and sometimes I also do work remotely so I can work with your schedule as much as time allows and with knowledge ahead of time. The way that I take care of houses and pets is the same because I do both based off of your instruction. I know that routine is important and I think where I really strive is listening to your wishes and communicating.

About: Since I was in elementary school, I have always had a family dog or cat. Animals are a man’s best friend and I see my animals as my babies. I treat all animals with love, and make sure give the best care possible. I am a recent St. Mary’s college graduate. During my search for full time work, I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! When you need me I’ll be there! I currently have an indoor cat who is dog friendly! About: I have very flexible hours in days. I have taken care of family and friends dogs. I have a little training that I can provide and I have given medication’s. I am currently not working. I am very flexible with hours and days. I can take them to the dog parks or play in their backyard. I have a fenced in yard, I have Separate sides of the backyard. I have a very friendly husky/malamute that can play with your dog. She is also friendly with all cats since I have two in the household. I also have a separate place to keep them if necessary.

About: I’m a HUGE animal lover. I’ve had dogs since I was about 3 years old. I currently have 3 adorable fur babies; one is almost a year old, one will be 3 in August and the other (my oldest) turns 14 in May. I have had cats, rabbits, hamsters, birds, fish, chickens and even a turtle, so I am prepared to take care of almost any animal you have. I just recently graduated from San Francisco State University, so I’ve been doing Uber for the past couple of years I live on 1 acre full of grass right outside of Elk Grove in the Vineyard area near Wildhawk Golf Course so there is plenty of room for any animal to roam and play around; especially fetch and frisbee which my dogs LOVE. I directly send photos and videos to your phone via text message rather than the Rover app because I’ve found several times during stays that photos I thought I sent would show as “failed to send,” so I prefer to send messages via iMessage since it shows if the message was delivered almost instantly. That is why my profile shows only 70% of photos sent to owners even though I basically spam your phone with photos and videos of your pet throughout the day. If you prefer me to use the Rover app, please let me know and I will do just that. I also don’t mind if you want to FaceTime with your pet at any time.

About: I've been housesitting since 2010, mainly cats and dogs. Multi-pet houses don't bother me and I'm good at keeping with your fur kids' schedules. I have and RVT license that is current and have been an RVT for over 10 years. I took a break from housesitting to work at animal hospitals, including a 24-hour critical care hospital in the ICU. Medications and medical treatments are no problem for me. I have an open schedule and am comfortable with either staying at your home for your pet's comfort, or I can visit everyday to make sure they are cared for. I adjust to their wants and needs and stick to their schedule. I'm low stress and understand that sometimes pets just need to warm up to you. As for my personal pets, there's four cats with totally different personalities that run the house (I just live there).

About: I’ve been bossing the dog-sitting game since I was a kid—always had at least three pups of my own, and I’m the go-to for family and friends when they need a sitter. I don’t just watch dogs I treat them like the VIPs they are. Your fur baby’s not just in good hands, they’re in the best hands. I also used to have a dog named brownie that was diabetic that needed insulin night and morning so I also have that experience. I currently have a job that is part time I work at a restaurant on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 430 to 9 to 9:30 unless I get called in, which is hardly rarely I am available to do house checks walk dogs and house sit but I’m only able to housesit for only three days at a time. I make sure every animal in my care is safe and comfortable by providing secure, supervised walks and a calm environment—whether at their home or out on a walk. I pay close attention to their behavior and needs, keeping them away from hazards and making sure they get plenty of exercise and love. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, always.
