While I was on vacation, one of my dogs developed a ruptured cyst (from what I later realized was caused by a small nip from my other pup who got angry at him the day I dropped them off with Irina). This could have been an extremely stressful and scary situation but Irina handled it with absolute professionalism, compassion, and care. Not only did she notice it immediately, send pictures, and communicate every step of the way, she also took my dog to our veterinary hospital on a Sunday to make sure he was properly diagnosed and treated. With her veterinary degree, she clearly knew how to manage the situation, and assure me Ralphy was doing okay and it was treatable (which gave me so much peace of mind while I was out of the Country). On top of this she kept me updated on both dogs, and sent lots of pictures and videos. I feel incredibly lucky to have found someone so caring, knowledgeable, and reliable to watch my 2 Senior Dogs. We live near a park which is walking distance where your pet can meet and play with other dogs. We do not have cats. I am a retired schoolteacher, occasionally do volunteer work in the Sacramento community, enjoy traveling, and stay active. I can spend one on one time with your pet. Our home is single story with a large fenced backyard and a raised bed where we grow our own vegetables. A public park is walking distance from our home where your pet can play and meet other dogs. About: It has been said to me that my first words as a child were ... barking! While I don't remember that, I do remember always having a connection with all furry companions. I grew up with dogs and cats and on occasion would visit my great grandparents' ranch, with horses, goats and more. I loved giving the animals snacks. More recently, I moved onto a small farm. I helped take care of over a dozen chickens and 2 turkeys; feeding, watering, cleaning the coop. My formal career experience has been in education. In addition to many childcare and classroom support jobs, I also taught public school for 5 years. In either environment, my natural tendency is using my natural empathy to provide personalized care. I am not only a sitter on Rover, but have used the service myself to board my cat before. I know what it's like to leave your baby in someone else's hands! Please communicate specifically to me so that we can rest assured all needs are met for your beloved pet(s). I will treat your furry family member like I would want mine to be treated - patiently, attentively, carefully and lovingly - and only ask that you communicate any expectations or other information clearly and thoroughly. I may ask a lot of questions to clarify, and welcome any of yours! (Además soy bilingüe ❤️) I currently update my schedule on a week-by-week basis. I work part-time as an in-home Instructor for developmentally disabled adults. This is only during weekdays. My availability will vary due to the unique schedule of that job. For example, if a client has a cold, that would be a cancellation on short notice, which would allow me to be available with Rover. So far I've had sufficient flexibility to pet sit and especially housesit in the area. I will reply to your request ASAP and we can go from there. Thank you! For this reason, I prefer to fill my schedule on a day-to-day basis, or at least weekly. I'm happy to answer any questions about specifics, so there is no confusion. Naturally, I'll provide the same consideration I'd expect from someone taking care of my home or pet. Most owners have written instructions down and that has been helpful. I tend to note things down myself, even if they're very simple, just to assure that they are not forgotten. I'll be detail oriented, focused, careful and respectful.

About: Family and friends always rely on me to care for their dogs (watch , feed, walk, etc). I’ve always loved dogs and willing to do anything for them!! About: I am 19 years old doing this so I can make some extra money on the side and currently take care of my older brother, who has autism, which has taught me how to remain composed, aware, and reliable in all situations. Those skills are easily applied to pet care, particularly with nervous, timid, or sensitive animals. For example, my own dog has depression anxiety which I make sure to tend to quickly! I can easily fit time with your lovely pets into my daily schedule. I'm free any time after 11AM because I get my brother on the bus at around nine in the morning. Since I'm still learning how to drive, I typically take the bus, train, or Uber to get around. The only thing I know is that I might have to wait until about 5 PM for my mom to return if she works overtime on a Friday, but that rarely ever happens. There is a chance that my schedule can improve so make sure to keep an eye out! I treat every pet under my care as if they were a member of my own family. Making them feel secure, understood, and loved is always my top priority. By feeding them on time, taking them for walks or play, and making sure they receive lots of attention and are comfortable, I try to keep things as simple as possible. I make sure they have everything they require, keep their area neat, and regularly change their water. To reassure the owner that their pet is happy, safe and in good care, I also provide updates and pictures
About: I have very flexible hours in days. I have taken care of family and friends dogs. I have a little training that I can provide and I have given medication’s. I am currently not working. I am very flexible with hours and days. I can take them to the dog parks or play in their backyard. I have a fenced in yard, I have Separate sides of the backyard. I have a very friendly husky/malamute that can play with your dog. She is also friendly with all cats since I have two in the household. I also have a separate place to keep them if necessary.
About: Since I was in elementary school, I have always had a family dog or cat. Animals are a man’s best friend and I see my animals as my babies. About: I've been housesitting since 2010, mainly cats and dogs. Multi-pet houses don't bother me and I'm good at keeping with your fur kids' schedules. I have and RVT license that is current and have been an RVT for over 10 years. I took a break from housesitting to work at animal hospitals, including a 24-hour critical care hospital in the ICU. Medications and medical treatments are no problem for me. I have an open schedule and am comfortable with either staying at your home for your pet's comfort, or I can visit everyday to make sure they are cared for. I adjust to their wants and needs and stick to their schedule. I'm low stress and understand that sometimes pets just need to warm up to you. As for my personal pets, there's four cats with totally different personalities that run the house (I just live there).
About: I learn super quickly, caring, kind, honest, hardworking, efficient, and love animals and want to work with them more someday! I want a farm too. I am currently unemployed but have worked in the restaurant industry for 3 years. I will go to school twice a week for community college. About: I love animals and being able to assist people. I had two cotton de tulears growing up and have watched and cared for my friends chihuahua whenever she vacations. I directly send photos and videos to your phone via text message rather than the Rover app because I’ve found several times during stays that photos I thought I sent would show as “failed to send,” so I prefer to send messages via iMessage since it shows if the message was delivered almost instantly. That is why my profile shows only 70% of photos sent to owners even though I basically spam your phone with photos and videos of your pet throughout the day. If you prefer me to use the Rover app, please let me know and I will do just that. I also don’t mind if you want to FaceTime with your pet at any time.
