About: I grew up in a home filled with animals, so caring for furry family members has always come naturally to me. During the 7+ years I lived in Philadelphia, I taught at a large charter school and began house and pet sitting on the side for fellow teachers and staff. Over the years, I had the privilege of caring for so many sweet furry babies, including pets who needed extra attention, medication, and around-the-clock care. I truly grew attached to many of them and missed them dearly when my Philly chapter came to a close in 2024. Today, I proudly call Sacramento home and am excited to share that same love and care with a new community of pet friends! I’m a firm believer that animals can see and feel the energy of humans in ways we sometimes cannot. I lead with warmth, patience, attentiveness, and genuinely good energy…and animals tend to pick up on that pretty quickly. I’ve yet to meet a furry friend who didn’t eventually warm up to me. 😊 I’m especially comfortable caring for pets who need a little extra support, including administering medications, following detailed routines, and providing consistent care throughout the day or night. I work best with thoughtful pet parents who deeply care for their animals, their homes, and the energy within both. I love nature and take many walks/hikes as a form of self care. About: I grew up with all kinds of animals, and am happy to care for almost all furry friends and babies now. I cater to pet parents’ preferences and enjoy every second I get with a new animal friend. I work a 9-5. I have hybrid flexibility, so I can accommodate daytime drop ins on a case by case basis. Generally, I am available for drop ins any day of the week in the morning and evening. I can housesit too, and if I am given Wi-Fi access, I can also be with your pet during the day. I will feed your pet, administer medications, attend to litter box and other bathroom needs, replenish water, engage them in play, and check safety needs before I go. I will also take a photo or video at the time of my visit and send it to you if that is your preference. While house sitting, I will do all of the above and also adhere to any special routine you have for the pet and do minor house needs too, like taking the mail or watering plants.

About: It has been said to me that my first words as a child were ... barking! While I don't remember that, I do remember always having a connection with all furry companions. I grew up with dogs and cats and on occasion would visit my great grandparents' ranch, with horses, goats and more. I loved giving the animals snacks. More recently, I moved onto a small farm. I helped take care of over a dozen chickens and 2 turkeys; feeding, watering, cleaning the coop. My formal career experience has been in education. In addition to many childcare and classroom support jobs, I also taught public school for 5 years. In either environment, my natural tendency is using my natural empathy to provide personalized care. I am not only a sitter on Rover, but have used the service myself to board my cat before. I know what it's like to leave your baby in someone else's hands! I work part-time as an in-home Instructor for developmentally disabled adults. This is only during weekdays. My availability will vary due to the unique schedule of that job. For example, if a client has a cold, that would be a cancellation on short notice, which would allow me to be available with Rover. So far I've had sufficient flexibility to pet sit and especially housesit in the area. I will reply to your request ASAP and we can go from there. Thank you! For this reason, I prefer to fill my schedule on a day-to-day basis, or at least weekly. I'm happy to answer any questions about specifics, so there is no confusion. Naturally, I'll provide the same consideration I'd expect from someone taking care of my home or pet. Most owners have written instructions down and that has been helpful. I tend to note things down myself, even if they're very simple, just to assure that they are not forgotten. I'll be detail oriented, focused, careful and respectful.

About: I’ve always had a family dog ever since I was a kid. So I know how to play with them. But I didn’t start taking care of one as an adult until 2014. Ever since then, I fully understood the time, patience and responsibilities it requires to fully take care of a dog and its needs. I currently work fully remote at home.
