About: I have personally cared for dogs for over 30 years. We are a family of five who enjoys and loves our Laberdoodle, Brother. Our family truly loves caring for other dogs as well with walks, playtime, affection, and plenty of rest, making sure they feel safe and comfortable while in our care. Pet care fits very naturally into our daily and weekly routine. I work from home three days a week, and my wife, Shannon, is home full time as a stay at home mom. Our kids are home from school in the afternoons, so there is almost always someone present to give attention, supervision, and care. We are all available throughout the weekends, which allows for plenty of time for walks, play, and companionship. We are very careful, detail oriented, and affectionate in how we care for pets, whether in our home or a client’s home. We follow routines closely, pay attention to each dog’s personality and comfort level, and prioritize safety at all times. We know what it feels like to trust our own dogs to others through Rover, and we take that responsibility seriously. Our goal is for every dog in our care to feel safe, loved, well exercised, and able to rest comfortably.

“I left my German Shepherd, Buddy, with Lori and Mike, and they did an excellent job watching him. They have a nice enclosed backyard where Buddy enjoyed frolicking and exploring. Buddy is an older dog and has some extra needs, including medications, and all his needs were well taken care of. Buddy came home happy and mellow as usual. Upon arrival, Mark asked the necessary questions and understood the directions that would keep my boy, his dog, and his kids safe. He introduced my boy methodically and safely to his family. In the morning, he relayed to me how Alphie did around his dog and kids, and I was happy to hear that my baby did great!! I have a work schedule that changes all the time, and he and his family were able to accommodate. In a world where there are many dog sitters inexperienced with reactivity, I’m grateful to say that Mark and his family are a group of sitters with sufficient knowledge and proved it in their actions. They are very careful and attentive, and I am happy to have found him as my reactive baby’s sitter.
Junhui was very easy to communicate with and flexible with scheduling, which we really appreciated. He was responsive, reliable, and accommodating when plans changed. He also took great care of our cat, who has diabetes, and handled her insulin injections with care and attention, which gave us real peace of mind. If anything, we would have preferred slightly longer walks for our dog, but overall we had a positive experience and appreciated his help with both of our pets.
