Pet care fits very naturally into our daily and weekly routine. I work from home three days a week, and my wife, Shannon, is home full time as a stay at home mom. Our kids are home from school in the afternoons, so there is almost always someone present to give attention, supervision, and care. We are all available throughout the weekends, which allows for plenty of time for walks, play, and companionship.

Safety, trust & environment
We are very careful, detail oriented, and affectionate in how we care for pets, whether in our home or a client’s home. We follow routines closely, pay attention to each dog’s personality and comfort level, and prioritize safety at all times. We know what it feels like to trust our own dogs to others through Rover, and we take that responsibility seriously. Our goal is for every dog in our care to feel safe, loved, well exercised, and able to rest comfortably.

Information Mark & Shannon C. would like to know about your pet
It is helpful to know your dog’s daily routine, feeding schedule, energy level, and any training cues they respond to. Please share any medical needs, allergies, anxiety triggers, or behavioral quirks so we can plan accordingly. Let us know how your dog does with children, other dogs, leashes, and new environments. The more we know ahead of time, the better we can make their stay comfortable, safe, and enjoyable.
A typical day
A typical day includes morning walks, feeding, and plenty of attention to help dogs feel settled and comfortable. Throughout the day we mix in playtime, backyard time, enrichment games, and short walks to explore new smells. In the afternoons our kids are home and enjoy calmly interacting, playing, and giving pets while respecting each dog’s space. Evenings are relaxed with dinner, another walk if needed, and quiet time so dogs can rest and feel at home.

Pet care experience
I have personally cared for dogs for over 30 years. We are a family of five who enjoyed having two dogs in our home for over five years. Due to a recent relocation, we had to rehome them. Our kids truly miss having dogs and would love to care for yours with walks, playtime, affection, and plenty of rest, making sure they feel safe and comfortable while in our care.
