About: We are devoted dog enthusiasts! Having grown up with dogs and many other pets, we welcome your dog as family and care for them as we would our own. Our charming pugs greet all dogs and love playing together in our enclosed yard, reached through a pet door. We understand both puppies and older dogs—one of our pugs is 15 years old, and we’ve nurtured our companions since infancy. We both work from home so all dogs will have ongoing attention day in/day out. Our pugs are allowed on our furniture, but I will abide with guests' home rules, so no bad behaviors will be learned, but will be spoiled with walks, treats and plenty of love and attention. We are happy to have a meet and greet prior to boarding for added peace-of-mind for dog parents. While with us, your fur babies will be treated like they are part of our family.

About: As someone who grew up with dogs, both small and large, I've learned what it takes to make sure the puppies are well cared for, between giving them the right food, making sure they go on walks, and grooming. Our pets are our best friends and so we should take the greatest care of them, and I'm willing to do that for all animals alike. I'm currently a part time worker both on weekends and weekdays and have lots of time to dedicate to taking care of pets. The only time I would not be able to offer my services is dueing weekends. In my home, I have a fenced yard to allow for our big huskies to have space to play and run, offering them toys that I know would keep them entertained. I also make sure to clean my dogs and ensure they eat healthily.

About: My friends and family have relied on me to look after their dogs when they’re at work or out of town. My care consists of lots of love, running around in parks and more. I have experience in taking care of cats, dogs and elders! I’m a full time college student, as well as working for Rover part time. I will have lots of time to love and care for your pets! I am available on weekends for boarding and weekdays after 5pm. I have cared for my giant dog for the past 7 years. I love playing with him in the backyard, taking him out for runs and to the parks, as well as grooming his coat.

About: My experience comes from owning not just dogs (XL-XS) and cats, but many animals in my lifetime. To me, living with these animals is the best way to gain experience. I have also done many house sitting jobs for people with lots of pets, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy doing. To me, the most important thing is establishing trust with your sitter, and I am a guaranteed safe person to trust any animal with. I’m great at reading animal body language and typically do well with all pets. I work at Panera, so my hours are not crazy, and never are usually longer than 4 hours, so pet sitting works great with my schedule. My college is also online so that doesn’t effect my schedule for the most part. In a clients home, it’s important to follow all of the instructions they provide, while also making their pets feel as if the owners never left.

About: It has been said to me that my first words as a child were ... barking! While I don't remember that, I do remember always having a connection with all furry companions. I grew up with dogs and cats and on occasion would visit my great grandparents' ranch, with horses, goats and more. I loved giving the animals snacks. More recently, I moved onto a small farm. I helped take care of over a dozen chickens and 2 turkeys; feeding, watering, cleaning the coop. My formal career experience has been in education. In addition to many childcare and classroom support jobs, I also taught public school for 5 years. In either environment, my natural tendency is using my natural empathy to provide personalized care. I am not only a sitter on Rover, but have used the service myself to board my cat before. I know what it's like to leave your baby in someone else's hands! I work part-time as an in-home Instructor for developmentally disabled adults. This is only during weekdays. My availability will vary due to the unique schedule of that job. For example, if a client has a cold, that would be a cancellation on short notice, which would allow me to be available with Rover. So far I've had sufficient flexibility to pet sit and especially housesit in the area. I will reply to your request ASAP and we can go from there. Thank you! For this reason, I prefer to fill my schedule on a day-to-day basis, or at least weekly. I'm happy to answer any questions about specifics, so there is no confusion.
