About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember! I have a cat named Ziggy and live with my family's two German Shepherds, Phoenix and Krypton. Over the past six years, I've had several opportunities to house-sit for family and friends, caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities, as well as cats, birds, tortoise, and fish. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or someone to stay with them while you're away, I'm happy to give them plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and cuddles! I'm comfortable caring for puppies, senior pets, multiple pets at once, and pets who need medication or a little extra patience and attention. I'm also happy to help with things around the house while you're gone, such as bringing in the mail, watering plants, taking out the trash, etc. Most importantly, I'll treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I currently have a very flexible schedule while I'm transitioning back into accounting and searching for my next career opportunity, so I'm available any day of the week and at a variety of times. I'm happy to accommodate your pet's routine and can stay overnight at your home for short or extended stays. I'm generally looking for 2-3 days' notice, but feel free to reach out and ask about last-minute needs! Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities! I'm comfortable caring for pets in their own home and following their usual feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routines. I'm also comfortable walking large dogs, using crates when needed, and handling both fenced and unfenced yards safely. While house sitting, I'm happy to spend lots of time with your pets - going for walks, playing, giving them plenty of love and attention, or simply keeping them company while I'm on my laptop, watching television, or helping out with any house chores. I'll always communicate with you ahead of time if I need to leave the home for any reason and will treat your pets and your home with care and respect.

About: I grew up in a home filled with animals, so caring for furry family members has always come naturally to me. During the 7+ years I lived in Philadelphia, I taught at a large charter school and began house and pet sitting on the side for fellow teachers and staff. Over the years, I had the privilege of caring for so many sweet furry babies, including pets who needed extra attention, medication, and around-the-clock care. I truly grew attached to many of them and missed them dearly when my Philly chapter came to a close in 2024. About: Hi there! My name is Sharon and I PAWS (pause) and gasp every time I see a cute dog... (which is every time I see a dog since all dogs are so cute). I love all types of dogs and get super excited when I see one! Throughout the years, I've gained experience taking care of dogs of all sizes and ages. I love getting to spend quality time with them and getting to know their personalities. As a dog lover, I love getting to spend quality time with any dog. My favorite activities include walks, playing fetch, going to the dog park, and just hanging out while giving great head scratches. I aim to create a fun, comfortable, and loving environment for every dog of every size! I work as a therapist and mostly have availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays; however, I sometimes have additional openings during the week which are reflected in my calendar. I start the day by feeding the dogs, letting them rest a bit, and then taking them on a walk outside to get some fresh air. Throughout the day, I continue to interact and play with them, and finish off the day with time spent outdoors followed by dinner.

About: I have been owned by cats and dogs in the past. I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. Pet Sitting - I am able to walk them/feed in the mornings and after 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday - Sundays more frequently. I do prefer overnight pet sitting. I am reliable, responsible and have a "knack" with most pets. I do need to know about any behavioral issues (likes to chew on things that aren't their toys for example). Do they do well with new people? I prefer not to sit pit bull terriers, but mixed breeds I don't have a problem with. About: It has been said to me that my first words as a child were ... barking! While I don't remember that, I do remember always having a connection with all furry companions. I grew up with dogs and cats and on occasion would visit my great grandparents' ranch, with horses, goats and more. I loved giving the animals snacks. More recently, I moved onto a small farm. I helped take care of over a dozen chickens and 2 turkeys; feeding, watering, cleaning the coop. My formal career experience has been in education. In addition to many childcare and classroom support jobs, I also taught public school for 5 years. In either environment, my natural tendency is using my natural empathy to provide personalized care. I am not only a sitter on Rover, but have used the service myself to board my cat before. I know what it's like to leave your baby in someone else's hands! Please communicate specifically to me so that we can rest assured all needs are met for your beloved pet(s). I will treat your furry family member like I would want mine to be treated - patiently, attentively, carefully and lovingly - and only ask that you communicate any expectations or other information clearly and thoroughly. I may ask a lot of questions to clarify, and welcome any of yours! (Además soy bilingüe ❤️) I currently update my schedule on a week-by-week basis. I work part-time as an in-home Instructor for developmentally disabled adults. This is only during weekdays. My availability will vary due to the unique schedule of that job. For example, if a client has a cold, that would be a cancellation on short notice, which would allow me to be available with Rover. So far I've had sufficient flexibility to pet sit and especially housesit in the area. I will reply to your request ASAP and we can go from there. Thank you! For this reason, I prefer to fill my schedule on a day-to-day basis, or at least weekly. I'm happy to answer any questions about specifics, so there is no confusion. Naturally, I'll provide the same consideration I'd expect from someone taking care of my home or pet. Most owners have written instructions down and that has been helpful. I tend to note things down myself, even if they're very simple, just to assure that they are not forgotten. I'll be detail oriented, focused, careful and respectful.

Since then I have always wanted to rescue and finally got to rescue my own dog 2 years ago. She is now 4 years old and is an Australian shepherd named Maple. I do have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and rescue dogs. I currently work full time in healthcare and work night shifts.
