About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember! I have a cat named Ziggy and live with my family's two German Shepherds, Phoenix and Krypton. Over the past six years, I've had several opportunities to house-sit for family and friends, caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities, as well as cats, birds, tortoise, and fish. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or someone to stay with them while you're away, I'm happy to give them plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and cuddles! I'm comfortable caring for puppies, senior pets, multiple pets at once, and pets who need medication or a little extra patience and attention. I'm also happy to help with things around the house while you're gone, such as bringing in the mail, watering plants, taking out the trash, etc. Most importantly, I'll treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I currently have a very flexible schedule while I'm transitioning back into accounting and searching for my next career opportunity, so I'm available any day of the week and at a variety of times. I'm happy to accommodate your pet's routine and can stay overnight at your home for short or extended stays. I'm generally looking for 2-3 days' notice, but feel free to reach out and ask about last-minute needs! Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities! I'm comfortable caring for pets in their own home and following their usual feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routines. I'm also comfortable walking large dogs, using crates when needed, and handling both fenced and unfenced yards safely. While house sitting, I'm happy to spend lots of time with your pets - going for walks, playing, giving them plenty of love and attention, or simply keeping them company while I'm on my laptop, watching television, or helping out with any house chores. I'll always communicate with you ahead of time if I need to leave the home for any reason and will treat your pets and your home with care and respect.

About: I'm capable of administering medications including shots if needed. I had a cat that had diabetes and he had to have shots 2 X per day. I've owned dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and horses. I know how hard it is to find good care where you can go on your trips and feel comfortable that your furbabies are taken care of. I'm trustworthy and will take care of your pets as if they were my own. I'm happily retired and looking for something to do that will bring me joy and help out pet owners. My availability is open for all days and nights. I will take as good of care of them as I have taken care of my own. I love animals of all kinds and look forward to being able to care for them in their own space where they are most comfortable as needed.

About: It has been said to me that my first words as a child were ... barking! While I don't remember that, I do remember always having a connection with all furry companions. I grew up with dogs and cats and on occasion would visit my great grandparents' ranch, with horses, goats and more. I loved giving the animals snacks. More recently, I moved onto a small farm. I helped take care of over a dozen chickens and 2 turkeys; feeding, watering, cleaning the coop. My formal career experience has been in education. In addition to many childcare and classroom support jobs, I also taught public school for 5 years. In either environment, my natural tendency is using my natural empathy to provide personalized care. I am not only a sitter on Rover, but have used the service myself to board my cat before. I know what it's like to leave your baby in someone else's hands! I work part-time as an in-home Instructor for developmentally disabled adults. This is only during weekdays. My availability will vary due to the unique schedule of that job. For example, if a client has a cold, that would be a cancellation on short notice, which would allow me to be available with Rover. So far I've had sufficient flexibility to pet sit and especially housesit in the area. I will reply to your request ASAP and we can go from there. Thank you! For this reason, I prefer to fill my schedule on a day-to-day basis, or at least weekly. I'm happy to answer any questions about specifics, so there is no confusion. Naturally, I'll provide the same consideration I'd expect from someone taking care of my home or pet. Most owners have written instructions down and that has been helpful. I tend to note things down myself, even if they're very simple, just to assure that they are not forgotten. I'll be detail oriented, focused, careful and respectful.

About: I've been housesitting since 2010, mainly cats and dogs. Multi-pet houses don't bother me and I'm good at keeping with your fur kids' schedules. I have and RVT license that is current and have been an RVT for over 10 years. I took a break from housesitting to work at animal hospitals, including a 24-hour critical care hospital in the ICU. Medications and medical treatments are no problem for me. I have an open schedule and am comfortable with either staying at your home for your pet's comfort, or I can visit everyday to make sure they are cared for. I adjust to their wants and needs and stick to their schedule. I'm low stress and understand that sometimes pets just need to warm up to you. As for my personal pets, there's four cats with totally different personalities that run the house (I just live there).
