About: After having a senior dog who couldn't be by himself for even 10 minutes, I understand how hard it can be when you can't make any plans, or take a vacation, because you are worried about your dog. I just want to help people who are in the same situation I was.. I am available nights, and weekends and holidays. Basically, all those times it is most difficult to find anyone to petsit-I can be there. For one afternoon or two weeks, whatever you need.. I am just trying to help pet parents out. I have always been the person who family, friends and neighbors call when they need someone to watch their pets. I just started doing this professionally, but already have glowing recommendations from everyone I have worked for. I understand how important it is for your pet to be comfortable and have found the best way to do this, is to come prior to the petsitting job to do a meet and greet with your pet so they know me, when I show up to watch them. In addition to growing up on the Vargas Cattle Ranch in Fremont, California, I have many years experience as a foster pet mom and respite pet caregiver. My specialties are orphan care and special needs requiring medication and or specialized attention after surgery. I have occasionally provided respite to animal rescue homes with up to 15 animals when the proprietors are out of state on vacation. In addition, I scored a proficient level on "Indeed's" veterinarian technician assessment in the areas of knowledge of common medications, vaccines in medical tests as well as skill in addressing animals needs during treatment. I am also a retired certified nurse aide with first responder medical training, a safe driver with car insurance, and a trusted provider with a clean Federal back ground clearance as a Notary Public for the state of California. I serve all of Amador County. Although I would consider other counties on a case by case basis. I am a retired Health Care Provider with many years of Special Needs Pet Sitting experience and prefer to stay busy on my 3 acres of fenced in property. My pets and the pets that I host enjoy joining me on morning and afternoon walks on trails and playing fetch. I keep a close eye on them when we are outside. Then we all snuggle up on the couch and dog beds after meals while we watch a fun movie together.

About: I've always had personal pets and have been the designated petsitter for my neighborhood since i was a child. I've spent the last decade professionally training & boarding all types of dogs, cat, and falconry birds. I'm currently open and available all days of the week. My life is my dogs/family and there is always room for more furry (& feathery, scaley, ect) friends. 💜 I have a fenced garden area and 4 dogs at home who are crate trained. About: I have had animals since I was a young girl and was always responsible for caring for them in any way the family needed. I helped watch friends animals as well. I currently have animals of my own that I adore as much as my adult children :). They bring love and light into our home. I am a part time dental hygienist as well as an undergraduate student studying Criminal Justice/ Forensics with plenty of flexibility. I am home full time doing school so my availability is open. I only pick up dental hygiene shifts as needed as I have been in the dental field 32 years. We have a a nice chunk of land with a fence and one dog to play with your furbaby her name is Shadow and she is so sweet and old, but still has energy for fun. We have a pond to wade in as well which is Shadows favorite thing to do. We are always keeping an eye on all of our animals and make sure they are safe and always have what they need. We also have 4 indoor kitties but they usually hide when company is around.

About: I have an immense love for animals of all shapes and sizes. Ive had pets my whole life. From cats to dogs to rats and to my current animals now. I have even helped a dog give birth to 4 beautiful puppies. I currently have a LGD dog, 1 cat that mostly is in my office and my amazing farm animals that i tend to daily. 1 horse, 3 goats and chickens! We are located just a ten minute drive from Lotus rafting, come drop off your animals before having fun! I work from home on my own schedule so im always free to leave and take care of the animals any time of the day. As well as take care of animals while working from home. I have 3 acres of land that is all fenced off as well as a fenced off front yard and backyard. I always have a friendly LGD that protects all the animals. I have a pet friendly home that has toys and a clean bed for whoever stays.

About: Owner Away? I’ll Sit and Stay. I am willing to take care of your dog at my house or yours and have been an avid lover of our furry friends for as long as I can remember. Besides caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish and gerbils of my own in the past, I have been declared the animal whisperer in my family. I am currently a third-year student studying to create prosthetics for animals at Cal Poly University and volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind as well as two other organizations that foster and rehouse animals to their furrrever homes. I would love nothing more than the opportunity to meet with you and your pet to give them the best level of care while you're away and to help you feel confident in trusting to leave your fur baby with me. I am currently taking this quarter off of school to focus on work and so I have quite a bit of free time as my job only requires that I work from home. That being said, whatever availability is required to fit your needs, that is a department I am more than flexible to appease. Ideally, I would like to offer care in the client's home, whether that be pet/house sitting or just walking the dog. In that situation, I would be more than happy to take care of upkeeping the household if need be (i.e. water plants, take out the trash, pick up the mail, etc.) I live in an apartment complex where smaller animals are allowed so depending on the client's case, I can try to accommodate housing arrangements in my home instead.

About: I have been a volunteer trainer with the Sierra At Tahoe Avalanche Dogs since I was about 10. My father runs the dog program so I grew up being taught how to train, take care of, and watch over dogs since I was a toddler. At the ski mountain I helped drill the dogs to find subjects in the snow, played, walked, fed, took to the bathroom, and watched over the dogs ages ranging from puppies to senior dogs. My family also has three dogs and three cats all of I have assisted in training, and most of the time look after on my own. I recently left my job so I am open full time with my schedule to take part in pet care. On some days I do need to watch my own animals since my parents work full time, but even then I am always available for even just a check in if needed! I make sure my pets have a set in feeding time as well as they have a signal for bathroom breaks, even if they do not show me they need to go I will periodically let them outside or take them on a walk. Besides just food and bathroom I love to work on skills, tricks, and just playing with the dogs throughout the day as to make sure they are enriched and happy. These qualities go for all animals I may watch too! I pride myself in being able to recognize their behavior so I can adapt for them what they need or want!

About: My friends and family have relied on me to look after their dogs when they’re at work or out of town. My care consists of lots of love, running around in parks and more. I have experience in taking care of cats, dogs and elders! I’m a full time college student, as well as working for Rover part time. I will have lots of time to love and care for your pets! I am available on weekends for boarding and weekdays after 5pm. I have cared for my giant dog for the past 7 years. I love playing with him in the backyard, taking him out for runs and to the parks, as well as grooming his coat.

About: I’ve grown up taking care of dogs, fish, and especially cats! I have training from the SPCA on dog walking, cat care, and some skill/behavioral training for both cats and dogs. I have 3 years of fish keeping experience. I currently have my own cat (he’s orange!) and I am fostering a mother and her kitten for the time being. I have indoor/outdoor plants and I can take care of your plants while you are away - I have a green thumb :) I’ve helped friends and clients with farm animals, including feeding and cleaning their spaces. I am currently in college, but only have classes Monday and Wednesday and can work around my school schedule. I am unable to bring pets home due to having my own cat and living in an apartment with a single pet deposit! But I am just fine coming to you! I offer dog walking, some behavioral training while pet sitting/walking, in home pet sitting, and I can do small cleaning projects for a minimal extra charge. I am gentle with the animals and can do grooming such as brushing and can try nail clipping if your pets allow it!

About: We have had dogs in our home our entire life. They are always a family member and treated with the best of love and care. I come from a family of breeders and a hunting and show dogs. Our seniors are loved and cared for savoring every last day. We have a ranch with plenty of room for your fur baby to run and explore as well as a huge dog run. We offer different places to keep them safe if running off leash is not the best for your baby. I am a self-employed realtor, who works from home. My husband is a rancher and contractor so one of us is typically home there are times of course when we leave but everybody is locked up safe and sound and they are also welcome to take the car ride with us should we need to run some errands. if it’s important that nobody ever leaves your baby, we can make that accommodation as well. We have a 12 x 24 kennel with multiple dog houses we have kennels of different sizes. We also have a barn with 12 x 12 stalls. We have a fenced in deck that is 30 x 50 so there are many opportunities for your baby to be outside in the fresh air And still be safe. If your dog is an inside dog, we will keep him inside with us and he will be warm and cozy at bedtime.

About: I've had a love and passion for animals since I was a child. I adopted my first pet in 2014. A beautiful female Queensland Heeler and American Pitbull mix named Sadie. She has been my service animal for over 5 years. I began my pet care career as a pet shelter assistant. A few years later, I became a Grooming Salon Assistant and have been grooming every since. I have knowledge of most breeds and am comfortable working with any sized dog, any temperament. I have also worked as a Kennel Assistant in a Veterinary office. I learned the in and outs of boarding, administering medications, and making sure all pets get adequate care. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pet(s)! I'm currently working part time but need extra money as I don't have enough hours. I have a fairly flexible schedule and can work out overnight stays. While caring for pets, I greet them and make sure they're comfortable with me. I like to offer treats and take the time to have them trust in me. I ensure all food bowls and water bowls are filled. I take them out for potty and walks every 2-4 hours. I ensure they get adequate play time, whether inside or outside. Give them lots of love and attention ☺️ All while abiding by your care rules, ie training, medications, etc.
