I was initially hesitant to use Rover because, like many animal parents, they are your babies and you feel you can only care for them best yourself. I chose Sara because she has vet tech experience, and it helped put my mind at ease. Sara happily follows my plan for Millie, and even gave Millie her medication with no complaints. Sara gave me lots of updates, especially my first time leaving Millie with her. I love that she has property and focuses on getting the dogs exercise. Millie often comes back home tired, which is such a good sign. I love that Sara truly treats Millie like she is her own dog; she lets Millie sleep on her bed and hang out with her children. About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember. My very first pet was my childhood cat, who I got when I was 2 years old and who lived with me for 17 wonderful years before crossing the rainbow bridge. About: I've always had a cat since I was 5 years old. While they don't usually require everything a dog does, I understand that every cat is different and each has its own personality. If your cat needs special attention, or is a cuddle and wants someone to pet or brush them 3× a day, I will happily do it. I also know some cats are the kind you just feed and don't want you to touch them, and I can respect their boundaries too.

About: Owner Away? I’ll Sit and Stay. I am willing to take care of your dog at my house or yours and have been an avid lover of our furry friends for as long as I can remember. Besides caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish and gerbils of my own in the past, I have been declared the animal whisperer in my family. I am currently a third-year student studying to create prosthetics for animals at Cal Poly University and volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind as well as two other organizations that foster and rehouse animals to their furrrever homes. About: Hi, I grew up around several different animals of all sizes from rodents/reptiles to livestock/dogs. I have always had at least one dog in my life at all times. The more the merrier. I love all animals big and small. I worked at a kennel where I learned about boarding and training dogs for about a year and I have pet sat for about 15 years in grand total. I currently work at a pet store in Sutter Creek. I love being around dogs and training or even just hanging out and playing. I am a outdoorsy person. I have experience with livestock animals also. I work part time so some days I am gone at work. But our 17 year old daughter is always home. We also go to church Sunday morning so we would be gone for a couple hours but otherwise we are always home. I care for pets in my home as I would my own. I have 3 German Shepherds. 10 months to 7 years old. As for in home pet sitting I would follow whatever routine you have set for your fur babies already so it would be easier on them.

About: I have always had dogs/animals. We have 5 dogs of our own. We also foster with a local rescue. We specialize in the squish face breeds. We completely understand climate control. We love to exercise outside and go out often to romp. I am currently working remote part of the time (office days are Tues/Thurs). We typically always have someone home and the dogs are likely never alone for more than a 2-3 hour period. Our dogs are very friendly and love to play! We do not have a fenced yard, so our preference would be dogs that are not a flight risk! We can use a flexi leash for potty breaks but that would limit outside play for our guests. We live on 2.5 acres with a lot of grass to romp and play. Our dogs do not go outside unless supervised.

About: I have loved animals my whole life and have had many pets; dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits, sheep and more. I thoroughly enjoy being with animals, loving and caring for them. Some of my first jobs were at animal clinics, where I learned a lot about caring for animals. I was in FFA as a youth, where I raised and showed sheep, and where I also learned a lot. I just want to help people who are in the same situation I was.. I am available nights, and weekends and holidays. About: I have had animals since I was a young girl and was always responsible for caring for them in any way the family needed. I helped watch friends animals as well. I currently have animals of my own that I adore as much as my adult children :). They bring love and light into our home. I am a part time dental hygienist as well as an undergraduate student studying Criminal Justice/ Forensics with plenty of flexibility. I am home full time doing school so my availability is open. I only pick up dental hygiene shifts as needed as I have been in the dental field 32 years. We have a a nice chunk of land with a fence and one dog to play with your furbaby her name is Shadow and she is so sweet and old, but still has energy for fun. We have a pond to wade in as well which is Shadows favorite thing to do. We are always keeping an eye on all of our animals and make sure they are safe and always have what they need. We also have 4 indoor kitties but they usually hide when company is around.

About: I have been a volunteer trainer with the Sierra At Tahoe Avalanche Dogs since I was about 10. My father runs the dog program so I grew up being taught how to train, take care of, and watch over dogs since I was a toddler. At the ski mountain I helped drill the dogs to find subjects in the snow, played, walked, fed, took to the bathroom, and watched over the dogs ages ranging from puppies to senior dogs. My family also has three dogs and three cats all of I have assisted in training, and most of the time look after on my own. I recently left my job so I am open full time with my schedule to take part in pet care. On some days I do need to watch my own animals since my parents work full time, but even then I am always available for even just a check in if needed! I make sure my pets have a set in feeding time as well as they have a signal for bathroom breaks, even if they do not show me they need to go I will periodically let them outside or take them on a walk. Besides just food and bathroom I love to work on skills, tricks, and just playing with the dogs throughout the day as to make sure they are enriched and happy. These qualities go for all animals I may watch too! I pride myself in being able to recognize their behavior so I can adapt for them what they need or want!
About: Owner Away? I’ll Sit and Stay. I am willing to take care of your dog at my house or yours and have been an avid lover of our furry friends for as long as I can remember. Besides caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish and gerbils of my own in the past, I have been declared the animal whisperer in my family. I am currently a third-year student studying to create prosthetics for animals at Cal Poly University and volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind as well as two other organizations that foster and rehouse animals to their furrrever homes. I am currently taking this quarter off of school to focus on work and so I have quite a bit of free time as my job only requires that I work from home. Ideally, I would like to offer care in the client's home, whether that be pet/house sitting or just walking the dog. In that situation, I would be more than happy to take care of upkeeping the household if need be (i.e. water plants, take out the trash, pick up the mail, etc.) I live in an apartment complex where smaller animals are allowed so depending on the client's case, I can try to accommodate housing arrangements in my home instead.

We have a fenced in deck that is 30 x 50 so there are many opportunities for your baby to be outside in the fresh air And still be safe. If your dog is an inside dog, we will keep him inside with us and he will be warm and cozy at bedtime.

About: I grew up with dogs and had my own in early adulthood, but circumstances have been such that I can't have one of my own right now. That doesn't stop me from loving on dogs! I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including those with special diets. I have a lot of flexibility at the moment and can be sure your dog gets walked early in the morning or in the evening to avoid the heat. I love to walk and will be happy to ensure your dog gets plenty of exercise. I have a fenced yard and no pets of my own.
