“We boarded our two dogs for the first time with Carrie and her family for an overnight stay. My husband and I could tell right away that they were going to be in great hands. I appreciated the quick responses and the update on how they were doing. We would definitely utilize this amazing family again and feel safe and reassured doing so. Sincerely, The Navarrete Family”

“We were extremely happy with Irina and can truly recommend her without any hesitation. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving our dogs in her care. Throughout our time away, she sent us regular updates, messages, and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dogs were clearly happy, relaxed, and well cared for — which says everything. Irina is incredibly kind, reliable, and attentive, and you can truly tell that she loves what she does and cares deeply about the dogs she looks after. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely trust her with our dogs again anytime. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of them! 🐶❤️”

“Amy and Justin are great! This is the second time we have used them and they always taken great care of our boy. We got daily photos and updates. Toby got to play with different dogs and was tired when he got home which tells us he had a good time.”

“Both my cat and dog stayed with her for over 2 weeks. She really took good care of them. I definitively recommend and I will book again in the future.”

“Marley was made part of Sabrina’s family! They welcomed him in like he was one of their own. Picture and video updates made us feel comfortable the whole time away from our fur baby and he came back happy and comfortable. I 100% will be using Sabrina in the future.”

“Anais was very aware and considerate of my dog’s needs and our preferences. She was communicative and shared pictures throughout the stay. I will definitely reach out to Anais again in the future.”

“Highly recommended Achara for your fur babies. She took our dog tucker on short notice so that I could go back home for the holidays. Tucker can be very timid when meeting new people, but he adjusted well and they treated him as their own. I was provided with daily updates and pictures of how he was doing. He came home happy and tired from playing so much! Thanks again, Achara!”

“Thank you so much Briana for taking such great care of our two furry babies. I felt so at ease being away for "12 days" knowing our babies was in such caring hands. See you again next year.”

“Naomi was amazing and has a huge heart for pups. She had our Benny for 2 nights and was great with communicating and updating us with photos and video of his time there. Highly Recommended! We will be using her for all our vacations.”

“My dog was very comfortable with Rekha. My dog is usually very nervous and I could tell she enjoyed her stay. Rekha and her family are very nice people and I would recommend her dogsitting to anyone.”

“Our golden loves staying with Alex and family. It’s like camp for him. We can tell from the photos he is having a great time! It’s nice to see he is loved away from home as well.”

About: Kevin and I have both been caring for dogs and many other types of animals for our entire lives and absolutely couldn’t envision our life without several animals. Kevin has grown up around a family dog business - participating in AKC scent trials, agility training, boarding and almost any other type of dog event & training you can imagine. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire lifetime and used to help foster kittens as a child and teenager. We currently have two dogs, several cats, chickens, turkeys and more. Your animals will be in safe and caring hands with us! We both work but set our own schedules and/or work from home so your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. Since we have animals of our own, caring for additional pets is not a problem and part of our normal lifestyle. We have a large fenced dog run outside, in home kennel area, along with crates for crate trained dogs. Our property is about 5 acres and fully fenced with front gates so dogs cannot leave the area. We also have a couple large lawns we use for doggy playtime, fetch and training sessions.

“Had to leave our cats for about a week. Just asked for a daily check-in and feeding. Also did ask for her to try to give our little girl Mei a daily pill. We figured Mei would disappear and give her no chance. But she got her her medicine every day except for the first day. Impressive. Also cleaned up some cat sick. Very happy. And cats seemed very happy.”

“Megan did great with my cats. They’re usually a little shy with new people but looks like they were comfortable with her right away. If the cats are happy and content then I’m happy, will book Megan again!”

About: As a registered nurse, I bring compassion, responsibility, and attention to detail to every pet I care for. I'm a proud cat mom to Bluey, my 1-year-old Russian Blue, and Bingo, my 3-month-old kitten, and I also have experience raising a German Shepherd. I understand that every pet has their own unique personality and routine, so I take the time to provide personalized care, whether that's walks, playtime, feeding, administering oral medications, or simply keeping them company. I'll treat your pet like family and provide regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. Pet care is already a part of my everyday life as a cat mom to Bluey and Bingo. Between my nursing schedule, I have a flexible routine that allows me to dedicate quality time to pet sitting, whether it's walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, or overnight care. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and I make it a priority to give each pet the attention, love, and consistency they deserve. I strive to keep your pet's routine as consistent as possible so they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. I'll follow your care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, litter box or potty breaks, medication administration if needed, and plenty of affection. I'll also keep your home clean, respect your space, and provide regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind.

“Excellent experience! She took wonderful care of Rubí over the weekend. She was kind, responsible, and kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me great peace of mind. Rubí was happy and well cared for. I highly recommend her, and I would definitely trust her to care for my dog again!”

“Haley is great with the dogs and is very reliable. We wouldn't entrust our dogs to just anyone and Haley is someone you can trust and count on. We will continue to use Haley in the future for watching and or walking our dogs. Thank you Haley”

About: I've had at least one cat since I was a child, and I have been housesitting since I graduated from high school. I know that cats have their own behaviors and schedules, and I make sure to adjust to their needs. I have a current RVT license and have been and RVT for over 10 years. I am comfortable with medications and medical treatments if needed. Multi-cat households are no problem.
“Terrell is a very warm and sweet young lady who I instantly knew would take care of my Lily and Kirby as if they were her own. Lily, who is a Chihuahua mix, has a little social anxiety and does not approach people easily. You usually have to be around her a lot before you can even pick her up. Lily took to Terrell quickly, which I had not seen her do with anyone before, so I knew we were in good hands. It is obvious how much Terrell loves dogs. By the end of our first meeting to talk about feeding/potty schedule/house key, etc., I was so at ease and happy to know I'd met a reliable person to help me with in-home dog sitting. I received videos and pictures of Kirby and Lily during Terrell's visits and an update on how they were doing. It made my time away from home peaceful so I could enjoy myself. I wholeheartedly recommend Terrell!”

About: I've taken care of dogs my entire life and made it a professional hobby in 2014 when I completed my coursework at Animal Behavior College and became a certified dog trainer. I worked for a company called "Zoom Room" in Walnut Creek for a bit before branching out and running my own business for private lessons, dog sitting and walking when we lived in the East Bay. I also have experience working in a veterinary hospital, dog boarding and daycare as well as medication administration. Once I became a mother to two beautiful boys I took a break and focused on family and raising my own well mannered pups! I have an anatolian mix and a golden retriever who are calm and well loved members of our family. To say I have a passion for dogs is an understatement. My walks will naturally include leash manners and basics- a bonus for you- and any animal care I provide will be given with love under a watchful eye as well! I am a stay-at-home mama with a kindergartner who is in school half days during the week. My schedule is very flexible because of this. I cannot care for pets in my own home at this time as our yard is not fenced in 100% and I cannot stay overnight in your home at this time either. However, caring for pets in their own home and doing multiple check-ins a day is a breeze. I usually spend extra time giving some love, some bonus walks and attention to the pets after completing whatever duties are required. Safety is always first priority so trust that your pet will be cared for as if they were my own fur babies.

“Blaze is absolutely THE BEST! I needed someone last minute and she was available and took amazing care of my dog. He helped her do all the fam chores this morning, met a bunch of new animals and loved her kids. Would recommend 1000%”

About: With 13 years of experience caring for a diverse range of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and horses. I also bring 9 years of experience working in a small animal veterinary hospital as a Registered Vet Tech. I am focusing on pet-sitting as my primary occupation at the moment. My daily routine begins with feeding the dogs and horses, followed by a morning walk around the property. Throughout the day, I allow them to play in the yard, giving them the opportunity for exercise and enjoyment. In the afternoon, to facilitate some quiet time, I either give a puzzle toy or a no-hide chew treat, and we conclude the day with dinner and a final walk before bedtime. I offer boarding services in my home on a fully fenced 5-acre property. The space includes a small fenced-in dog yard, as well as a fence around the front area. I have automatic dog bowls outdoors that provide filtered water and are cleaned often. Additionally, I provide multiple dog beds for comfort. At night, I prefer all dogs to sleep in cages, so I have a designated room with cages for that purpose. I also have one bed available outside, with the option to add more beds if needed. All the dogs in my care are friendly and sociable with each other, and I only accept house-trained dogs that are good with other dogs.
“Deb and JC are amazing! Pip had a fantastic time during day boarding—he was happy, well cared for, and came home content and tired. They kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and videos, which we really appreciated. Their love for dogs really shows. Highly recommend!”

“Domynique was amazing with my puppy Ollie. She sent updates and would provide walks along with just great quality time. She was super accommodating to my commute that she volunteered to meet me half way. Ollie always came home ready for a nap after a great day with Domynique, will definitely be booking again and would recommend 🥰”

“Rekha is very caring and made me feel comfortable leaving my puppy in her care. He is usually timid; however, he took an immediate liking to her. She took him for a walk and gave him lots of attention. I will definitely rebook her again!”

“I can never express enough how awesome Keith and Jackie are. They always take the best care of my pup Layla. Side note, thanks to them Layla is much much more sociable with other dogs. She’s always so happy for her visits ♥️”

Mostly committed to giving the attention, patience, n love so that every dog is happy! My dogs r with me always. Life would not be as much fun without my dogs. I give them my time!! And I can help give that time to yours when u cannot because they need it! I am also a licensed nail technician and specialize in Sculptured acrylic. Pic of it in my photos class given thru Pet Tech
“First time Rover user, and we couldn't more impressed with Annie. Starting with the "meet and greet", Annie welcomed our big baby despite his huge size (100lbs). He has an injury that requireds a special touch, and Annie more than delivered. We received pictures and videos throughout the day, and I swear, he almost didn't want to come home! We will certainly let Annie care for our big baby on day and overnight visits in the future! 🥰”

About: I grew up on a dairy raising various types of farm animals and have land for them to run around and get plenty of exercise and fresh air. I also have a working service dog, so I have had experience in basic obedience training and see animals as more than just pets. My German/Aussie shepherd mix loves helping other dogs learn and is a peacemaker to any guests. Learning about other breeds and seeing what makes them special or unique is one of my favorite things about what I do. I am in and out of the house working on the farm or just hanging with them all day! Never more than a couple hours without seeing me! Perfect for your dog to be close to town but far enough away from the 4th of July fireworks. We have a big fenced yard, behind another large gate from the road so the space is secure. There are two house hats and my service dog Willow.

“If you're looking for great customer service and good animal care experience ... Amanda's your gal. She listened to my needs, over-delivered and was super communicative with me during Crawford's stay at her home. It was my first time with a dog sitter (& I knew I could trust Rover, because I'm a Rover sitter & know they do a background check) ... but I was still nervous. My dog is 5 months young and although well-adjusted & potty trained, is very vulnerable. She was sensitive to this; I left him with her feeling i could trust her 100% ... I received photos and updates the entire time I was away. Highly recommend.”

“Abraham took exceptional care of my dogs, Raven and Kisses, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, it was clear that Abraham has a real passion for dogs. I was nervous at first because my bully doesn’t get along with other dogs to well and my chihuahua is very picky with people but He was attentive, reliable, and went above and beyond to make sure my dogs were comfortable and well cared for while I was away. I will definitely be booking with him again.”

About: For the past four years, I have raised and cared for chickens, lambs, and goats for our county fair. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning pens, changing water, and walking and training each animal one to two times daily. I always made sure to dedicate consistent, quality time to properly train and care for each of my animals. While these are not the specific types of animals I would be caring for in this position, I believe this experience reflects my strong work ethic, responsibility, and ability to care for animals of all sizes and needs. In addition to my fair experience, I have had animals my entire life. Currently, I have three dogs and ten chickens at home, and I am responsible for their daily care, including feeding, cleaning, and overall needs. My oldest dog is 15 years old, and I have been primarily responsible for his care for the past seven years. Most of my experience is with small dogs under 20 pounds, but I have also walked and cared for larger dogs weighing around 100 pounds. Additionally I have been a prominent member of Tokay FFA’s Veterinary science team, on this team I’ve learned dozens of minor medical procedures that I am confident in doing such as administration of various medications via oral, aural, and injections, bandage wrapping and removal, and the concept of safe handling with all kinds of animals. I am well versed in many species of animals, ages, and sizes so I hope to be a good fit for your beloved pets. I am currently on summer break and will be attending college this coming fall, as of right now my schedule is fairly open. T is a few days where my hours may change, but overall I am available at all times of day every day to fit your needs. Times are subject to change and if I ever have a conflict I will be sure to notify you with proper prior notice to ensure your pets are taken care of. If there is fences at your home I will always be sure to lock and close them behind me if your pets are inside, I am also well versed in handling larger dogs/animals so I will not easily be pushed to the side if your pet is prone to doing so. I am confident in my animal handling skills and if your dog needs to be fenced in or crated I am confident I can do so.
About: I love animals and being able to assist people. I had two cotton de tulears growing up and have watched and cared for my friends chihuahua whenever she vacations. I am working a part time job with flexible hours and sometimes I also do work remotely so I can work with your schedule as much as time allows and with knowledge ahead of time. The way that I take care of houses and pets is the same because I do both based off of your instruction. I know that routine is important and I think where I really strive is listening to your wishes and communicating.
About: I've been housesitting since 2010, mainly cats and dogs. Multi-pet houses don't bother me and I'm good at keeping with your fur kids' schedules. I have and RVT license that is current and have been an RVT for over 10 years. I took a break from housesitting to work at animal hospitals, including a 24-hour critical care hospital in the ICU. Medications and medical treatments are no problem for me. I have an open schedule and am comfortable with either staying at your home for your pet's comfort, or I can visit everyday to make sure they are cared for. I adjust to their wants and needs and stick to their schedule. I'm low stress and understand that sometimes pets just need to warm up to you. As for my personal pets, there's four cats with totally different personalities that run the house (I just live there).

About: It has been said to me that my first words as a child were ... barking! While I don't remember that, I do remember always having a connection with all furry companions. I grew up with dogs and cats and on occasion would visit my great grandparents' ranch, with horses, goats and more. I loved giving the animals snacks. More recently, I moved onto a small farm. I helped take care of over a dozen chickens and 2 turkeys; feeding, watering, cleaning the coop. My formal career experience has been in education. In addition to many childcare and classroom support jobs, I also taught public school for 5 years. In either environment, my natural tendency is using my natural empathy to provide personalized care. I am not only a sitter on Rover, but have used the service myself to board my cat before. I know what it's like to leave your baby in someone else's hands! Please communicate specifically to me so that we can rest assured all needs are met for your beloved pet(s). I will treat your furry family member like I would want mine to be treated - patiently, attentively, carefully and lovingly - and only ask that you communicate any expectations or other information clearly and thoroughly. I may ask a lot of questions to clarify, and welcome any of yours! (Además soy bilingüe ❤️) I currently update my schedule on a week-by-week basis. I work part-time as an in-home Instructor for developmentally disabled adults. This is only during weekdays. My availability will vary due to the unique schedule of that job. For example, if a client has a cold, that would be a cancellation on short notice, which would allow me to be available with Rover. So far I've had sufficient flexibility to pet sit and especially housesit in the area. I will reply to your request ASAP and we can go from there. Thank you! For this reason, I prefer to fill my schedule on a day-to-day basis, or at least weekly. I'm happy to answer any questions about specifics, so there is no confusion. Naturally, I'll provide the same consideration I'd expect from someone taking care of my home or pet. Most owners have written instructions down and that has been helpful. I tend to note things down myself, even if they're very simple, just to assure that they are not forgotten. I'll be detail oriented, focused, careful and respectful.

About: Hello Fur Baby Parents! Welcome to Furbaby Care by Danielle! I'm a pet sitting extraordinaire and bay area native. :) Here are some fun facts. I value serving people and their fur babies. I’ve held jobs in tech, fitness, special needs, and customer service. Extensive volunteer work with pediatric and geriatric, and hand therapy in pursuing OT. I just received my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Woot woot! I also have a minor in Photography. Avid fan of fitness, cooking, and creative pursuits. Please reach out! I'd love to learn more about you and your pets. I love animals! So much that I’ve had the joy of caring for one of my first cats, Em, while she was pregnant and gave birth to 4 beautiful kittens! She showed up as a skidish stray cat in our backyard, and I slowly lured her in with a treat trail. I befriended her and gave her pets. Instantly, the two of us connected even though she was wild. I took her to the vet to be adopted, and the vet said she was going to have kittens! I still have the ultrasound images of the four little spinal cords in her belly. :) Two of them I still own and the other two were adopted by friends. Sadly, Em is no longer with us, but Cleo and Chateau have grown up to be cute healthy little puritos. I saved my Texas kitty, Eliot, from being cornered by another wild cat while I was going to school. Once he walked into my apartment, I knew it was love at first sight. He is my travel buddy and has been to 5 states! Marshall is our little geriatric kitty (18 years, 88-89 in human years). She is a little love who likes to lick human noses and sleep all day. I would be happy to care for your fur babies while you are away. I will send you beautiful photos of your pets everyday. :) I have a flexible schedule to work week days and weekends while I’m studying for my board exam. I will send you fur baby updates and take pictures of your fur babies to keep you in the loop. Meet and greets are a perfect way to get to know you and your fur babies before booking a service. I would prefer a virtual meet and greet over Facetime or Zoom since meet and greets are usually unpaid. But I would meet in person for anyone who would feel more comfortable with that. ************Rates priced due to the service, 20% Rover fee, driving time, independent contractor taxes, and outrageous gas prices 🥲.************** ***All pet photos provided have the potential to be use for marketing purposes as the best way to get the word out about my sitting services is through beautiful photography.*** I do not currently care for pets at home because of the small space, but maybe in the future! I just travel to homes right now. Thank you so much for stopping by to read my profile page. Please contact me if you have any questions or documents/detailed care instructions. I'd be happy to take all special requests into consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon. :)

“Annie is great! She’s so sweet and kind! She accommodated every need for my Bella and went above and beyond. Check ins were good and she even bathed my dog. She treated Bella like her own and for that, I’m thankful!”

“Catherine and Ernie took great care of Max. Both were very communicative before and during his stay. They were very kind and clearly love dogs. I highly recommend both!”

“Doh provided an amazing service for my dog. I normally hired her for house sitting at my home in the past. I decided to try out her boarding service at her house. I was so happy with the service she provided for my fur baby. Her home set up for dog is perfect for all size of dogs and it’s doggies safe house. I would recommend to anyone for her pet sitting services. Thank you Doh for taking great care of Rocky!!”

“Ann is the BEST!! This was my first time using Rover and leaving my pups for more than a day; I was sooo nervous!! But Ann made me and my pups feel so comfortable right from the intro meeting!! I have an older Chiweenie who was abused and doesn't do well with people and new situations...Ann showed me pictures daily and was very responsive each time I reached out. My baby was getting pets, and sitting right beside her!! She knew her medical issue the moment i mentioned it. My other baby, a teacup Pom is very clingy, and and needs walking every day. Had pictures daily of her sitting on the doggy bed or getting attention. Now, at home, she's a little less clingy!! Ann is 5 stars!!”

“We had such a great experience with Annie! She’s incredibly attentive, communicative, and has such a wonderful personality. I really appreciated how often she checked in and kept us updated—it gave us so much peace of mind. Our pup had the best time with her, and we’re so grateful to have found someone we can trust! Already confirmed for next weekend.”
