Frequent home check-ins or dog walks are provided in the immediate Lodi area. All pets have their own preference. When boarding at Sleepy Pooch, pets are well supervised. Frequent outdoor activity is offered in a large fenced back yard. Larger dogs can be walked daily, if desired. Your loved one can sleep in the bedroom, alone in a kennel, or with the host’s pooch if he/she prefers. For pets who prefer to stay home, your host assures security of your property when entering and exiting. A mask will be worn at all times while inside your home. I assess the situation to identify any housekeeping issues that need to be addressed to keep your pet and home safe while you are away. Any mail or packages are brought inside. Cat boxes will be thoroughly cleaned at all times. Rest assured that I will take responsibility for your pet as if he/she is one of my own family members. DOG WALKING NOTE. Please have doggy leashed and ready to pick up for their walk. About: Both dogs and cats have been a part of my life for a while now. In the last few years I've transitioned from cat to dog owner. I pride myself in training both my dogs to be well-behaved, loving and friendly. I've helped care for dogs belonging to friends and family, and if I'm not caring for a dog you'll likely find me at a park with my dogs doing a lot of outdoor activities! About: I personally cared for my three boxers (Cassius, Braddock & Annie) for ten years. Two of my Boxers passed from cancer (brain tumor & spinal cancer.) I cared for them alone (other than vet help of course) until the end. I am comfortable with caring for sick and elderly animals, which includes administering oral medication. I am very observant and once I spend time with animals I am keen to pick up on any behavior or health issues. I currently have two very spoiled cats (Axel & Asher - 1 year 2 months old). I didn't want another dog full time but I miss walking dogs and the companionship and fun it brings so this is why I am looking to walk and care for others in need of help. I understand the time, energy and financial investment it takes as well the need for help. I cared for my animals alone along with the help of a great friend when needed. My calendar will show I am not available on the weekends, although if you need care after 6pm please contact me to see if we can work something out. I do not offer overnight care in your home or mine. I am open to several drop in's per day if less than 20 miles from my home. I am currently offering part time services and am open in mornings, afternoon or evenings based on my calendar availability. I work full time from home and can work with you on a schedule if needed. I am able to come to others home for food, bathroom breaks or time to play or walks helping them to not become lonely or bored.
