About: I’ve cared for a variety of pets since I was a kid, including dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. I love taking dogs for walks, playing with them and giving them lots of pets! I am currently in between jobs, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to spend caring for your pet(s). I am available on weekdays and may be available on weekends with reasonable notice. I understand that every pet and owner have different needs and expectations and it is incredibly important to me that those expectations are met. I think it’s important to respect and recognize every animals’ boundaries, so that I can give your pet the best love and care possible.

About: My husband and I live in Lodi. Our beautiful Australian Shepherd, Sophie, passed away recently and I miss having a dog in my life but I’m not ready for a dog of my own. Let me spoil your furkids! Dogs (and people) are happier and healthier with regular exercise. Is your pup bored? Chewing or exhibiting signs of being anxious? I will get them tired...a tired dog is a happy dog! Maybe you have a youngster that needs some leash training? I can do that. Or maybe you have an older dog who just needs to get out and sniff some trees? I can do that, too. I can schedule the timing of walks and home visits around your schedule. I can cuddle your furkids and clean the cat box. I'm also available to drop in while you’re on vacation to water the plants, check on the critters, pick up the mail/newspaper. My schedule is very open, I’m retired and pet-free at the current moment. I walk three miles every day and I’m flexible with your pet needs. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks but your pet would be in our home getting pets and attention all the time. I do not believe in leaving dogs outside, they want to be with their people.

Nicole C.
“Nicole walked my dof Macduff for three months while I was on location. Not only is she reliable, but I guarantee you will never find a more loving and caring dog lover anywhere. Macduff was actually miffed when I returned and Nicole was no longer taking him on his outings :)”

Erika J.
“Erika loves animals, and I fully trust her to take care of my dog and cat when I'm out of town. My dog has a lot of anxiety, and Erika is very patient with her and tries to get her out of her shell. I wholeheartedly recommend her as a caregiver for your furry friends.”

Danielle A.
“You will not meet a more caring, loving or responsible person than Danielle! On top of that Danielle so attuned with animals. Your dog, cat or other four legged friend will be in good hands with her. She is super communicative and will send you pictures while you are away! I trust her fully and recommend her without any reservations.”

About: have been taking care of every kind of animal since I was a toddler. From bunnies and cats to horses and goats, I’ve seen everything. I grew up on a farm where I kept many animals, including dogs, cats, pigs, rabbits, horses, goats and sheep. These days, I care for my three dogs, my cat, several amphibians, fish, tarantulas and a couple of snakes. If it breathes oxygen, you can count on me to care for it. Pets are my favorite people, after all. I have two huskies and a mixed puppy, all three rescues, who I train with every day. I am skilled at positive focused basic training. I have fostered for the Stockton animal shelter and for the Second Chance Animal Shelter. My work with rescue pets has given me experience in dealing with pups who have anxiety and working with dogs who may need special attention. I have worked with highly reactive dogs and I am not shy of large or giant breeds. I had a couple of Great Danes and a Newfie growing up. I can also give medications, if need be. I work a part time job with very flexible hours. Essentially, I make my own schedule, so I can make myself available at any time of day to suit your needs. I can adapt my care practices to your pet’s specific needs. Some dogs need to go for long sniff walks, some dogs need to go for a faster paced jog, and some dogs need to take it easy. I will keep up or slow down with them! We can play fetch if you have a fenced backyard and prefer to keep your dog on your property. I can also feed them if requested.

Janet G.
“I wholeheartedly recommend Janet to anyone in need of trustworthy and caring pet care. Her dedication and genuine love for animals made all the difference during my time away. She sent me adorable photos and updates, which made being away a little easier.”

Sabrina T.
“Sabrina did a great job with my two doxies. My male can be very stubborn and not very friendly, Sabrina made him feel comfortable and he had a good weekend with no signs of stress or issues when we arrived home. My female was in love with Sabrina as soon as she saw her. Sabrina gives great communication with pictures and text updates. So, no matter what your pet’s personality is Sabrina will be able to make them feel at ease. I have already booked another vacation with Sabrina!!!”

Irene S.
“Let’s just start with IRENE IS AMAZING! She was available to watch our two furry friends last minute when we decide to take a date night out to the the city of SF. Not only did she take impeccable care of our dogs, she also trimmed our beagle nails (which was must needed) gave our shiz tzu a lovely hair trim and keep us updated on the progress on how they were doing the whole time. Definitely would love to have her as a pet sitter agian. Couldn’t be happier that we found such a great dog sitter who holds the same amount of love we have for our animals.”
