For pets who prefer to stay home, your host assures security of your property when entering and exiting. A mask will be worn at all times while inside your home. I assess the situation to identify any housekeeping issues that need to be addressed to keep your pet and home safe while you are away. Any mail or packages are brought inside. About: Kevin and I have both been caring for dogs and many other types of animals for our entire lives and absolutely couldn’t envision our life without several animals. Kevin has grown up around a family dog business - participating in AKC scent trials, agility training, boarding and almost any other type of dog event & training you can imagine. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire lifetime and used to help foster kittens as a child and teenager. We currently have two dogs, several cats, chickens, turkeys and more. Your animals will be in safe and caring hands with us! We both work but set our own schedules and/or work from home so your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. Since we have animals of our own, caring for additional pets is not a problem and part of our normal lifestyle. We have a large fenced dog run outside, in home kennel area, along with crates for crate trained dogs. Our property is about 5 acres and fully fenced with front gates so dogs cannot leave the area. We also have a couple large lawns we use for doggy playtime, fetch and training sessions.

About: I grew up on a dairy raising various types of farm animals and have land for them to run around and get plenty of exercise and fresh air. I also have a working service dog, so I have had experience in basic obedience training and see animals as more than just pets. My German/Aussie shepherd mix loves helping other dogs learn and is a peacemaker to any guests. Learning about other breeds and seeing what makes them special or unique is one of my favorite things about what I do. I am in and out of the house working on the farm or just hanging with them all day! Never more than a couple hours without seeing me! Perfect for your dog to be close to town but far enough away from the 4th of July fireworks. We have a big fenced yard, behind another large gate from the road so the space is secure. I am certified with Wag! as well and have been working with horses for 5-6 years so i’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages and other pets you might have in your home. I’m available for drop ins, walks, and sitting, overnight, early morning or anytime you need including most holidays and weekends if it’s scheduled at least one day in advance.
