About: Kevin and I have both been caring for dogs and many other types of animals for our entire lives and absolutely couldn’t envision our life without several animals. Kevin has grown up around a family dog business - participating in AKC scent trials, agility training, boarding and almost any other type of dog event & training you can imagine. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire lifetime and used to help foster kittens as a child and teenager. We currently have two dogs, several cats, chickens, turkeys and more. Your animals will be in safe and caring hands with us! We both work but set our own schedules and/or work from home so your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. Since we have animals of our own, caring for additional pets is not a problem and part of our normal lifestyle. We have a large fenced dog run outside, in home kennel area, along with crates for crate trained dogs. Our property is about 5 acres and fully fenced with front gates so dogs cannot leave the area. We also have a couple large lawns we use for doggy playtime, fetch and training sessions.

A comfy bed awaits your pup for a sound night's sleep. Recently retired, so I can devote even more time to your fury family. Frequent home check-ins or dog walks are provided in the immediate Lodi area. All pets have their own preference. When boarding at Sleepy Pooch, pets are well supervised. Frequent outdoor activity is offered in a large fenced back yard. Larger dogs can be walked daily, if desired. Your loved one can sleep in the bedroom, alone in a kennel, or with the host’s pooch if he/she prefers. For pets who prefer to stay home, your host assures security of your property when entering and exiting. A mask will be worn at all times while inside your home. I assess the situation to identify any housekeeping issues that need to be addressed to keep your pet and home safe while you are away. Any mail or packages are brought inside. Cat boxes will be thoroughly cleaned at all times. Rest assured that I will take responsibility for your pet as if he/she is one of my own family members. DOG WALKING NOTE. Please have doggy leashed and ready to pick up for their walk. If your request involves entering the home or property to retrieve and prep the dog for a walk, select “Drop-in Visit” and add a note to request a walk during the visit. —Proof of current unexpired rabies vaccination is required for all pets—

Since I was a little kid I had a heart 4 the love of dogs. They teach us what is important. I have had a handful of healthy n happy dogs. I have taught myself to do pretty good haircuts, trim nails,administer mess, clean ears n teeth, n even anal glands. Mostly committed to giving the attention, patience, n love so that every dog is happy! My dogs r with me always. Life would not be as much fun without my dogs. I give them my time!! And I can help give that time to yours when u cannot because they need it! I am also a licensed nail technician and specialize in Sculptured acrylic. I go to homes n businesses and take care of their nails. I also sing professionally on the weekends. However, I'd rather be home with my dogs!!!? I received my pet CPR/ 1st aid certificate 4/20/18. About: I grew up on a dairy raising various types of farm animals and have land for them to run around and get plenty of exercise and fresh air. I also have a working service dog, so I have had experience in basic obedience training and see animals as more than just pets. My German/Aussie shepherd mix loves helping other dogs learn and is a peacemaker to any guests. Learning about other breeds and seeing what makes them special or unique is one of my favorite things about what I do. I am in and out of the house working on the farm or just hanging with them all day! Never more than a couple hours without seeing me! Perfect for your dog to be close to town but far enough away from the 4th of July fireworks. We have a big fenced yard, behind another large gate from the road so the space is secure. There are two house hats and my service dog Willow.
