A convenient location, we have a large shaded and fenced back yard for little dogs to explore and romp. Medium-sized pooches can be accompanied on walks around the pet-friendly neighborhood. A comfy bed awaits your pup for a sound night's sleep. Recently retired, so I can devote even more time to your fury family. Frequent home check-ins or dog walks are provided in the immediate Lodi area. All pets have their own preference. When boarding at Sleepy Pooch, pets are well supervised. Frequent outdoor activity is offered in a large fenced back yard. Larger dogs can be walked daily, if desired. Your loved one can sleep in the bedroom, alone in a kennel, or with the host’s pooch if he/she prefers. For pets who prefer to stay home, your host assures security of your property when entering and exiting. A mask will be worn at all times while inside your home. I assess the situation to identify any housekeeping issues that need to be addressed to keep your pet and home safe while you are away. Any mail or packages are brought inside. Cat boxes will be thoroughly cleaned at all times. Rest assured that I will take responsibility for your pet as if he/she is one of my own family members. DOG WALKING NOTE. Please have doggy leashed and ready to pick up for their walk. If your request involves entering the home or property to retrieve and prep the dog for a walk, select “Drop-in Visit” and add a note to request a walk during the visit. —Proof of current unexpired rabies vaccination is required for all pets—

About: I’ve been taking care of pets of my own since I was a little girl. Animals have always been something that I’ve been passionate about and something that has always brought me joy no matter the size, color, or species I am always welcoming aniamls with open arms and do everything I can to make sure they know they are loved. I have an open schedule monday through sunday and I am free anytime of the day so I am available whenever my help is needed! I have a back yard that your furry friend can have fun and go potty in, and I also have a very spacious home so they have room to play around inside as well. I also have a park right next to my house that I can take them to go for walks and play there as well.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 15. I started walking dogs around my neighborhood when I lived in Iowa and I worked at a dog training facility where I trained dogs for two years; including my own bulldog Max. When I moved to Lodi I continued dog walking and pet sitting and just recently got into Rover to continue helping furry friends around my neighborhood. I work remotely and am able to get my work done at anytime, which allows me a lot of flexibility and availability to being a sitter. As a dog owner and previous cat owner, I understand the amount of trust that’s required when leaving your pet in the care of someone else. I follow instructions given by the owner such as preferences for staying on leash or off leash when it comes to walks and dog park visits. If you tell me to avoid certain areas or even other dogs if necessary, I will. As for home visits, you will never know that I was there. I’m a very tidy person and just care about giving your dog or cat the love and care needed while you’re away.

About: I’ve been lucky enough to have had my own pack of large dogs — each with their own unique personalities, temperaments and needs — which means your dog gets attentive, structured, and individualized care. I'm a lover of all dogs but the big ones melt my heart and I have found through my own experience it can be difficult to find boarding for these big fur babies and their big personalities. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine since I’m home most of the day. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, timely walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. For in-home sitting, I focus on maintaining each pet’s normal routine while providing a calm, secure environment. I follow all owner instructions closely for feeding, medication, walks, and house rules. I’m attentive to behavior changes and prioritize safety at all times. In my own home, I use gates as needed to manage space and ensure dogs are safely separated when appropriate. I also have spacious in-home kennels available for rest, feeding, or downtime if a dog is crate-trained or needs a quiet space. I have a secure yard for supervised outdoor time.

About: Kevin and I have both been caring for dogs and many other types of animals for our entire lives and absolutely couldn’t envision our life without several animals. Kevin has grown up around a family dog business - participating in AKC scent trials, agility training, boarding and almost any other type of dog event & training you can imagine. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire lifetime and used to help foster kittens as a child and teenager. We currently have two dogs, several cats, chickens, turkeys and more. Your animals will be in safe and caring hands with us! We both work but set our own schedules and/or work from home so your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. Since we have animals of our own, caring for additional pets is not a problem and part of our normal lifestyle. We have a large fenced dog run outside, in home kennel area, along with crates for crate trained dogs. Our property is about 5 acres and fully fenced with front gates so dogs cannot leave the area. We also have a couple large lawns we use for doggy playtime, fetch and training sessions.

About: Dogs have always been apart of my life growing up. We have had dogs of our own which currently we have a border collie name Oreo. I have taken care of friends and families dogs all my life also. Oreo is always open to play with new furry friends. We do not take bullies. I currently work full time which leaves my weekends and some holidays open to watch your furry companion. My husband is a full time daycare provider in our home. We will be open to kid friendly dogs during the week if needed. We also can provide over night sleep overs if needed. We are always home and pets are welcome. We have a fenced yard and 1 friendly dog to keep your furry friend company. Oreo and us love going on walks and playing with balls and our dog loves her laser beam which they can enjoy together. We also have a large doggy door that leads into the backyard.

About: My passion and joy has been caring & loving my little dogs for the last thirty-eight years. I have a special love for senior dogs. I currently ‘share my house’ with my 7 yr old recuse Bailey, a female Shih Poo. If you need plant care while away that subject is open for discussion. Finally, I've decided to do what I truly love - full time pet care! I am self-employed which allows me to custom fit our schedules at my home or your home depending on your needs. I'm self-employed, I make my own schedule custom fit to you and your pets needs. The pets take priority over everything else. I do keep my computer and my dog with me. I prefer a meet-n-greet prior to appointments. I become their 'guard' dog. I'm extremely protective of my pets, and that transfers over to yours. I intuitively know where they are and what they are doing. I can't help it, it's a built in mechanism.
