About: My experience comes from owning not just dogs (XL-XS) and cats, but many animals in my lifetime. To me, living with these animals is the best way to gain experience. I have also done many house sitting jobs for people with lots of pets, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy doing. To me, the most important thing is establishing trust with your sitter, and I am a guaranteed safe person to trust any animal with. I’m great at reading animal body language and typically do well with all pets. I work at Panera, so my hours are not crazy, and never are usually longer than 4 hours, so pet sitting works great with my schedule. My college is also online so that doesn’t effect my schedule for the most part. In a clients home, it’s important to follow all of the instructions they provide, while also making their pets feel as if the owners never left.

About: Kevin and I have both been caring for dogs and many other types of animals for our entire lives and absolutely couldn’t envision our life without several animals. Kevin has grown up around a family dog business - participating in AKC scent trials, agility training, boarding and almost any other type of dog event & training you can imagine. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire lifetime and used to help foster kittens as a child and teenager. We currently have two dogs, several cats, chickens, turkeys and more. Your animals will be in safe and caring hands with us! We both work but set our own schedules and/or work from home so your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. Since we have animals of our own, caring for additional pets is not a problem and part of our normal lifestyle. We have a large fenced dog run outside, in home kennel area, along with crates for crate trained dogs. Our property is about 5 acres and fully fenced with front gates so dogs cannot leave the area. We also have a couple large lawns we use for doggy playtime, fetch and training sessions.

My yard is fenced in entirely but rather large and dogs off leash would easily be out of site if not watched. I also have a few chickens on the property so I’d like to be cautious of them.

A little about me: I worked at a petsmart in the grooming salon where we had to take extensive courses on dogs and cats, so I have experience working with dogs/cats from all walks of life. I have befriended anxious dogs who usually fear humans and earned the acceptance of aggressive dogs. Animals tend to like me regardless of their personalities. I am as happy on a leisurely walk for a mellow dog who wants to sniff and explore as I am to tire out a dog with boundless energy. I have 2 dogs of my own and have had dogs and cats my whole life.
