“Trustworthy and communicative. I am new to rover and have never had a cat sitter off this platform. I booked Jeffery on very short notice having never met him in person, but he turned out to be trustworthy and attentive to my needs and the needs of my cat. Jeffery did everything I asked him to do, took pictures of the cat, and did a good job.”

About: My experience comes from owning not just dogs (XL-XS) and cats, but many animals in my lifetime. To me, living with these animals is the best way to gain experience. I have also done many house sitting jobs for people with lots of pets, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy doing. To me, the most important thing is establishing trust with your sitter, and I am a guaranteed safe person to trust any animal with. I’m great at reading animal body language and typically do well with all pets. I work at Panera, so my hours are not crazy, and never are usually longer than 4 hours, so pet sitting works great with my schedule. My college is also online so that doesn’t effect my schedule for the most part. In a clients home, it’s important to follow all of the instructions they provide, while also making their pets feel as if the owners never left.
“Stephanie’s Pet Care was able to provide pet sitting services in a professional and timely manner. My dog was fed, watched outdoors, and I greatly appreciated the pictures and messages during my time away. I would definitely recommend their services if you are seeking a pet sitter.”

“‘We had a last-minute trip and needed someone to take care of our dog. She accepted booking on very short notice and did an amazing job. She was reliable, caring, and made sure our dog was well taken care of while we were away. She kept us updated and gave us peace of mind throughout our vacation. We truly appreciate her help and would definitely book with her again. Highly recommended!’”

“Chloe did a great job taking care of my two cats while we were away. She plays with them, takes pictures, is responsive to messages, and her love for animals is apparent. She also took out my trash and brought the bins back in. One of my cats made a mess and I appreciate her cleaning it up. I feel confident Chloe is taking good care of my cats while I’m away. I’ll definitely use her again in the future!”

“Can always count on Helen! She always takes excellent care of our two boys! She is super reliable and always very communicative throughout the whole process! Thank you again we always appreciate you!”

“Persephone was absolutely amazing! She took excellent care of my dogs while I was on vacation—no issues at all. She even went above and beyond by handling a few extra tasks that weren’t required. This was my first time using Rover, and thanks to Persephone, it’s now my go-to service. She’ll definitely be my first choice for any future pet care needs!”

“Alexus is a one of a kind caregiver. She provided us with piece of mind and my pets with excellent care. She took extra steps to gain our animals trust and treated our home like it was hers by picking up after our pets. Her updates were inspiring and helped us feel at easy while we were away.❤️”

“Always amazing!!! Olive loves her visits and it makes traveling easier. Whittnee provides great updates and pictures. Thank you 🙏 for always loving our little girl!”

About: I have been an animal lover since as young as I could remember. I can provide your furbaby with a loving home away from home. I have experience of 4 years fostering with local rescues and the Stockton Animal shelter. I primarily have worked with cats and kittens ranging from 4 weeks to adults cats. I also have a cat of my own, who loves the company of other cats and kittens. In my home there is a dedicated space to play and have access to a cat tower that overlooks a bird feeder for bird watching - this is an HUGE hit with my own furbaby. This room also is quiet and provides a calm and secure room for furbabies that may be a bit more on the skiddish and shy side. Ensuring that your pet is comfortable and safe is my biggest concern. I am second grade teacher and while the some days are longer than most, I will have plenty of time to dedicate to your fur baby! I have a cat of my own and playtime is an important part of our day. I will be sure to give your baby plenty of pets and cuddles. Ensuring that your furbaby is stress free and safe are my #1 concerns. You furbaby, will be able to roam freely and explore my home as if it is their own, unless you prefer otherwise. I also have an office space that doubles as a room dedicated to my cat that is filled with toys for enrichment!
About: New to Rover but have been pet sitting for years! I love all animals and I have volunteered at shelters many times and have experience with sick animals as well. I will love and care for your fur babies as if they are my own! I have a pretty flexible schedule and will work with what you need! so book me and I will love and spoil your fur children I guarantee I will fall in love with your pet the moment I meet them! I’m very good at pet routines, making sure they have lots of play time, that they are happy and safe! I will protect them with my life, no joke.

About: I love animals and would love to help you watch yours if you're out or take them on walks for you! I had a German-Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador mix for 11 years, he passed away recently but brought years of joy and experience with a highly-energetic dog. I recently got my first cat, and I have lived with several other dogs and cats. I do not have any professional experience grooming or dealing with animals, but I am more than willing to help out with letting dogs out, taking them on walks, etc. I definitely have plenty of experience walking dogs because of my little guy. I look forward to hearing from you soon! I currently have quite open availability, almost any day and time should work with some notice, and I will try to make it work regardless. I have a fenced-in yard where a dog can go outside/play fetch. I have 1 cat, but he can be kept in a separate area of the house if preferred.
“This is the second time Megan took care of Lilo & Stitch for us and she was wonderful! She sent lots of pictures and gave us a summary of the drop in visit. Best of all she was able to drop in on a short notice. We look forward to booking her again in the future!”

“Daniella did a great job watching our Goldendoodle while we were on vacation. After reading her reviews, I decided Daniella was a great fit for my anxious dog. Our first time booking with rover and overall it was an easy and stress free experience with Daniella.. She checked in on our dog once a day- She was always on time, communicated when needed, sent photos and followed our direction perfectly. We will be booking her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of three dogs at one house and house sat. I’ve taken care of three other different breeds of dogs at one house and house sat. I’ve then let two different families bring their dogs here at different times and sat them for a month in the summer. Iva also went to a house and dog sat an old dog and a baby cat. For the summer, I’m free all the time! During the school year, I go to community college so after 1pm, I am almost always free, I can also wake up early to check in. I have a fenced house, with a large amount of land. As for your house, I will make sure your animals are always cared for and feel safe at home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Morada. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
