8. Emily H.
About: I grew up with Australian Shepherds and I have been dog sitting for friends and family for the last three years. I've spent time dogs of all ages - from puppies to senior dogs. I am currently between jobs and have extra time to care for your pups. I love to take dogs for walks and am happy to work with my clients on what's needed for the dog(s). I am open to pet sit in the client's home, but not my own. With that, usually the pets feel more comfortable because they're in their own familiar and safe environment.

14. Rebecca C.

About: UPDATE: 12/07/2023:Moved to San Jose and do not offer boarding or daycare at this time. My children and I started watching dogs in 2013 as a way for them to have the experience of having a furry friend and the responsibility it teaches. Over the years we have had the pleasure of bonding with regulars (the dogs, cats and sometimes the people too!) learning about breed specific tendencies and characteristics and have and continue to enjoy having the furry guests stay with us. My kids have since grown up and moved out on their own. Restless in my empty nest I have moved on. As such my house is no longer available for boarding. However, I am continuing to house sit which I started doing about a year or so prior to having doggy guests. I am also available for drop in visits and walking services. Feel free to contact me with any questions! Cheers! I work remotely with an occasional trip to visit project sites. My schedule is flexible enough to fit with your pups needs as closely as possible so they have some consistency. Dog/cat/house-sitting provides a familiar environment for the animals to be most comfortable in. However, a potential issue arises when a dog is particularly territorial and the sitter seen as an invader. Please keep this in mind when requesting a house-sitter. As the temporary care taker of the domain and those subject to that sphere of influence I do my utmost to keep things as normal and routine as absentee authority. Having a stranger in the home can make people a bit uneasy. Cameras in "common areas" can help bring some relief. Being able to "pop in" is convenient. If you do not have cameras we can schedule video chats if you like. Trust is built over time and communication about likes and dislikes is very much appreciated. I do not have other people that tag along with me but if I could persuade her, I'd bring my daughter. But this would be discussed and done with permission of course.

15. Breanna H.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since a young age while being involved in 4-H. I grew up with dogs, cats, bunnies, pigs, goats and much more. I work early mornings and off before noon most days to be able to do anything for them after work, or come before work to feed and go to the restroom. I feed, let out into our fenced yard and make time each day to play with them. At clients home I respect the persons home and leave it how it was left for me, to clean up after the animals if potty accidents happen.

16. Sabrina T.
“Sabrina walks my two dogs (52 lbs and 90 lbs) three times a week. She takes them at the same time and is able to control them both. Sabrina has also done dog sitting for me. She has always shown up on time, played and fed them when expected. Both of my dogs love Sabrina and look forward to her visits.”

17. Cassandra & Kevin H.
“Kevin and Cassandra are very experienced in handling dogs. They also are lovers of all different kinds of animals. They both are very patient and will go out if the way to understand a dogs(or any animals) specific needs and ways to make them at ease. I would recommend them to care for any one of my animals whole heartedly.”

18. Leena G.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was as little as 5, my friends and family have always trusted me to watch them, feed them, walk them, etc. I am currently doing school from home and I am not working at the moment so I have a lot of time on my hands, plus I am very attentive. I have a fenced yard and my home is pet-friendly, I allow my animals to hang out wherever they please, as long as it’s not the toilet of course lol

19. Isabel B.
“As Isabel’s close friend, I can confidently say she has a natural gift with animals. She’s patient, caring, and treats every pet like family. Her experience with her own four dogs and volunteering at animal shelters shows just how dedicated she is. You won’t find a more trustworthy and compassionate person to care for your pets!”

20. Jessie E.
“Jessie is the best! She’s an actual working vet technician, and she will go above and beyond for your pet. Her dog, Indie, is a testament to her love for animals. He follows her everywhere and is such a good, sweet boy. I’ve seen her catch a cat with one hand, turn him over, and give him a pill without him even really noticing. She has this weird power where animals just feel comfortable in her presence. She also has unending, unconditional love for animals that I don't think I could even have for a person. I’ve had her watch my pooches many times and they’re always so excited to see her, it almost makes me jealous. Your animal is in the safest hands possible with her, the only step above would be if you literally boarded them at a vet’s office (which would be the same thing anyway...because she works at the vet’s office and would probably be the one looking after them!)”
