About: Hi, I grew up around several different animals of all sizes from rodents/reptiles to livestock/dogs. I have always had at least one dog in my life at all times. The more the merrier. I love all animals big and small. I worked at a kennel where I learned about boarding and training dogs for about a year and I have pet sat for about 15 years in grand total. I currently work at a pet store in Sutter Creek. I love being around dogs and training or even just hanging out and playing. I am a outdoorsy person. I have experience with livestock animals also. Horses, cattle, chickens, Lhamas, mini animals, donkeys. I have references also if you would like them. Our home is completely fenced and sits on 3 acres. We have two friendly german shepherds. I work part time so some days I am gone at work. But our 17 year old daughter is always home. We also go to church Sunday morning so we would be gone for a couple hours but otherwise we are always home. I care for pets in my home as I would my own. I have 3 German Shepherds. 10 months to 7 years old. As for in home pet sitting I would follow whatever routine you have set for your fur babies already so it would be easier on them.

About: I was raised on a ranch with all kinds of pets. I can't recall life without dogs we are so fortunate to have them in our lives they are unconditional in the love and affection they give . I was in dog rescue for 21 years as a foster. I had 7 dogs all were what was considered not able to be put in a home do to behavior issues the only option for these dogs was to be euthanized so I kept the rejects and had to stop rescue as to the inn was full and I still dog sat for the dogs that had been at my home until a new home was found . I have extensive experience with all types of dogs . I have a cat who pretends dogs do not exist so she just stays away, my cat was a ferel rescue cat and is now a fat and sassy house cat . I have a large home so have part of it sectioned off where her litter box and food are to keep dogs out of both . If I house sit I have experience with farm animals for feeding. I garden so watering is in my range. I'm home 80% of the time so I'm available. I may run a errand but that's about it . If weather permits and you have a road dog car rides with me are perfect. I spend a lot of my time cooking and blogging I cook for seniors in my community. If I'm gardening outside the dogs are welcome to be with me. I have a double lot so plenty of play room . Half of it is fenced for plenty of play room . I have a crate if needed . Your dog will have free roaming access in my home and allowed on the furniture . If I'm sitting your pet in your home it's your home and your rules that I follow . I have passed my Background check here on Rover to take care of your fur babies. I have passed my 2nd Government Background check to take care of children. I have passed my 3rd Goverment Background check to take care of elders . The point is I want you to be assured your fur babies are safe with me .

About: I grew up around dogs when I was younger. About 9 years ago, my kids and I started taking care of friends, and family members, dogs when they go out of town...feeding, walking, letting outside, overnights, giving medicine, etc. We started watching dogs through Rover so my children would gain experience with other puppies and dogs. My kids have done so well caring for others' dogs that I decided they were ready to have a puppy of their own. We welcomed Snowball into our family on 12-18-2021. Snowball has all his shots (NOT neutered) and is ready to make new friends. He has gotten along with all the dogs we've watched on Rover and when meeting other dogs while on walks. My children and I would love to care for your puppy/dog and treat them with love and kindness during their stay with us. We're also available for drop-in visits at your home. Overnights: Friday evenings and Saturdays all day/night. Pick-ups on Sundays are ok. No overnights during the week, unless specified on our calendar. Drop-ins and walks: please message me for availability. Also available certain holidays. Looking forward to caring for your pup. These are a few things about safety in our home while caring for your pup: - We have a fenced in back yard to keep your pup safe while outside. - I can assure you that we will never feed human food to any pup. - We do not allow pups to sleep in the bed with us. Please bring a play-pen or crate for your fur baby to sleep in at night for his/her safety. - We are willing to accommodate requests such as "please don't let my pup on the couch." Just ask and we'll do our best to meet all your pet care needs.

About: I have been talking care of animals all my life! Have had cats, dogs, chickens, and rabbits! I was apart of FFA in high school taking care of farm animals too! Animals have always been my passion of mine and I love their unique personalities! I currently work part time in a restaurant, but I’m never gone for more that 6 hours, I always have time to play with your pets, to feed them, and to give them all the scratches 🥰 I’ll keep them safe in there environment, make sure they get into nothing that they can get into. About: I have been owned by cats and dogs in the past. I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. Pet Sitting - I am able to walk them/feed in the mornings and after 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday - Sundays more frequently. I do prefer overnight pet sitting. I am reliable, responsible and have a "knack" with most pets. I do need to know about any behavioral issues (likes to chew on things that aren't their toys for example). Do they do well with new people? I prefer not to sit pit bull terriers, but mixed breeds I don't have a problem with. About: Hello, I am a patient and kind care provider for pets of all sizes, ages, and energy levels; including exotics and livestock. In addition to growing up on the Vargas Cattle Ranch in Fremont, California, I have many years experience as a foster pet mom and respite pet caregiver. My specialties are orphan care and special needs requiring medication and or specialized attention after surgery. I have occasionally provided respite to animal rescue homes with up to 15 animals when the proprietors are out of state on vacation. In addition, I scored a proficient level on "Indeed's" veterinarian technician assessment in the areas of knowledge of common medications, vaccines in medical tests as well as skill in addressing animals needs during treatment. I am also a retired certified nurse aide with first responder medical training, a safe driver with car insurance, and a trusted provider with a clean Federal back ground clearance as a Notary Public for the state of California. I serve all of Amador County. Although I would consider other counties on a case by case basis. I am a retired Health Care Provider with many years of Special Needs Pet Sitting experience and prefer to stay busy on my 3 acres of fenced in property. My pets and the pets that I host enjoy joining me on morning and afternoon walks on trails and playing fetch. I keep a close eye on them when we are outside. Then we all snuggle up on the couch and dog beds after meals while we watch a fun movie together.

About: I’ve always had pets in my house since I was young, I currently have a German shorthair pointer that is always up for a run so we are both active I am currently not working so I have time to take care of your pup or cat so they don’t feel lonely while you’re at work or running errands. I make sure my pup can run around and get his energy out in the gated yard, and make sure he isn’t getting into things he shouldn’t.

About: I’m the neighbors trusted ally when it comes to keeping everything safe. I can love on less than friendly animals with ease - and I’m known to triple check every gate and door I’ve touched. Your animals are safe with me. Old animas Grouchy animals Rescues Cats, dogs, pigs, rabbits, sheep, horses, donkeys, horses. I am currently working from home as I manage a construction project - a small cottage inclusive of a one acre pasture. I also have weeks where I am available in the Bay Area for daily check ins and walks as I frequent that area at times. In your home I’ll follow whatever instructions are left. At my home - I have a one acre pasture in the back of my home and a quarter acre of fenced yard in the front. In addition, I have a 30 ft Rv with a full size couch and bed for pets. There they can roam free or stay crated if that is your preference. I love animals so if you think your buddy needs me to stay in the rv with them over night, I can do that too. I typically keep clients pets separate from my own unless requested. I usually start the day by taking each pet out to run and play in the pasture for about an hour… and end it the same way. I started pet sitting after a friends pet was lost in a Brentwood boarding facilities fire. Realized I am a safer option as I am always present and don’t leave anyone alone for more than an hour or so.

House sitting extends beyond just caring for the pets so I also bring in mail, take out trash, water plants, etc. I’m a recent college grad looking to spend my time taking care of animals, as this brings me the most joy. About: I’ve raised puppies, kittens, baby birds, chickens and various other animals, I’ve also had experience working on a dog farm and groomed various types of breeds. I’m available for part-time work and am flexible when it comes to scheduling. I am open to working Monday-Sun as long as it’s planned at least a week in advance. About: Owner Away? I’ll Sit and Stay. I am willing to take care of your dog at my house or yours and have been an avid lover of our furry friends for as long as I can remember. Besides caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish and gerbils of my own in the past, I have been declared the animal whisperer in my family. I am currently a third-year student studying to create prosthetics for animals at Cal Poly University and volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind as well as two other organizations that foster and rehouse animals to their furrrever homes. I would love nothing more than the opportunity to meet with you and your pet to give them the best level of care while you're away and to help you feel confident in trusting to leave your fur baby with me. I am currently taking this quarter off of school to focus on work and so I have quite a bit of free time as my job only requires that I work from home. That being said, whatever availability is required to fit your needs, that is a department I am more than flexible to appease. Ideally, I would like to offer care in the client's home, whether that be pet/house sitting or just walking the dog. In that situation, I would be more than happy to take care of upkeeping the household if need be (i.e. water plants, take out the trash, pick up the mail, etc.) I live in an apartment complex where smaller animals are allowed so depending on the client's case, I can try to accommodate housing arrangements in my home instead.
