About: Hey there I’m Elora :D I was raised with both cats and dogs of all sizes/ages/personalities and have been house sitting for the past 5 years as a side gig. When pet sitting, I aim to stay as close to your pet’s schedule as possible, and spend every free moment I have with your animals at home! I love walking around local parks and sending photos of our adventures! House sitting extends beyond just caring for the pets so I also bring in mail, take out trash, water plants, etc. I currently work a hybrid job and enjoy spending my time taking care of animals, as this brings me the most joy. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment, so rest assured your animals will be spoiled. I am available weekdays, weekends, and holidays! I have my own car providing easy and reliable transportation to your home, grooming appts, and emergency vet visits if needed. I have the utmost respect for your home and privacy. I will always leave your home looking better than how I found it. Punctuality and communication are my key pillars.

“Chelsea is great! She responds quickly, shows up on time, is flexible, and has worked with me to address my dog’s needs. My dog takes a while to warm up to people, but she felt comfortable with Chelsea almost immediately and I did as well. If you are in the Jackson area I highly recommend Chelsea as a dog walker.”

About: I have been owned by cats and dogs in the past. I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. Pet Sitting - I am able to walk them/feed in the mornings and after 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday - Sundays more frequently. I do prefer overnight pet sitting. I am reliable, responsible and have a "knack" with most pets. I do need to know about any behavioral issues (likes to chew on things that aren't their toys for example). Do they do well with new people? I prefer not to sit pit bull terriers, but mixed breeds I don't have a problem with. About: I frequently care for dogs and cats and truly love spending time with animals. I am patient, attentive, and responsible, and I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. Animals quickly feel calm around me, and their safety and well-being are always my top priority. Pet care is my main activity and fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I make sure pets get regular walks, playtime, feeding, and attention every day. I also keep their space clean and spend time giving them affection. Weekly, I plan extra outdoor activities, visits to the nearby dog park (if allowed), and interactive play to keep them happy, healthy, and engaged. 🐾 I frequently care for dogs and cats and truly love spending time with animals. About: My pet care experience began when I started living with my uncle as a teenager. Back in the Philippines, he would rescue puppies and keep them in the house until he could find them a foster home. After school, I would go straight home and take care of the rescues. I would feed them and keep them hydrated, and then take them out for a walk. I also taught them tricks until they could master it without treats. I strongly believed that training is an essential part of their growth. When I moved here, I adopted Astrid as a puppy and she has been with me for 3 years now. My main skills with pets includes strict attention to time management, understanding their behaviors, and attending to their needs. Other skills include having patience, clear communication with owners, being on time, and being responsible with the duties given. I currently work part-time as a cook in a nursing home. On my days off, I usually stay at home either on my computer or take my dog to play outside. I have a lot of leisure time on these days, and I believe that pet sitting will fulfill these times and keep me busy. In my home, I ensure that my dog sleeps and naps comfortably when tired. I make sure that there’s food for her and water always refilled. I keep my dog active by walking around the neighborhood and going to the playground. I also play the guitar and sing songs to her when there is nothing else to do. When she wants to go outside, I let her run free in the backyard surrounded with fences and have a shaded area for her when it gets too hot. I would also leave the door open in case she wants a colder environment which is inside the house. In a client’s home, I would ensure that their pets are well fed and hydrated. If there is an accident, I would willingly be responsible for that and take care of it. I would make sure that their pets are also being engaged in activities so that they would feel less bored when the parents aren’t home.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Paloma. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route, the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.
The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Paloma after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.
Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
