She asked all the right questions (feeding, bathroom, sleeping routines) and told us we would get regular updates. Just as promised we got messages, photos and videos of Luna and her walks and meeting all the animals on the farm. When we collected her, it was clear that she had been loved and cared for the entire time we were away, and Luna would have been happy to stay. “I know my dog had an amazing time. She looked happy and relaxed when I picked her up. My baby Roxie did well her dog and think they may have horsed around quite a bit since when we got home she just napped like she does after having park time. We got pictures and updates of Roxie and we could tell she was tended to and being loved as well. We were late to pick her up due to flight delays and eventually cancelations. Sylvia was easy to coordinate with for the extra unexpected day. Also, my dog was bitten by a dog the day before we dropped her off and she had meds and special instructions to which I know she kept a good eye on her as the wound/bite had healed and was looking good even 2days after the incident. I would totally recommend her as she is attentive and caring. Roxie is our baby girl and she can be timid but with Sylvia my doggie felt right at home!! That is priceless to know while we were so far away from our little girl.”

I am currently working from home as I manage a construction project - a small cottage inclusive of a one acre pasture. I also have weeks where I am available in the Bay Area for daily check ins and walks as I frequent that area at times. In your home I’ll follow whatever instructions are left. At my home - I have a one acre pasture in the back of my home and a quarter acre of fenced yard in the front. In addition, I have a 30 ft Rv with a full size couch and bed for pets. There they can roam free or stay crated if that is your preference. I love animals so if you think your buddy needs me to stay in the rv with them over night, I can do that too. I typically keep clients pets separate from my own unless requested. I usually start the day by taking each pet out to run and play in the pasture for about an hour… and end it the same way. I started pet sitting after a friends pet was lost in a Brentwood boarding facilities fire. Realized I am a safer option as I am always present and don’t leave anyone alone for more than an hour or so.

About: I’ve raised puppies, kittens, baby birds, chickens and various other animals, I’ve also had experience working on a dog farm and groomed various types of breeds. I’m available for part-time work and am flexible when it comes to scheduling. I am open to working Monday-Sun as long as it’s planned at least a week in advance. I also bring 9 years of experience working in a small animal veterinary hospital as a Registered Vet Tech. I am focusing on pet-sitting as my primary occupation at the moment. My daily routine begins with feeding the dogs and horses, followed by a morning walk around the property. Throughout the day, I allow them to play in the yard, giving them the opportunity for exercise and enjoyment. About: Hi, I grew up around several different animals of all sizes from rodents/reptiles to livestock/dogs. I have always had at least one dog in my life at all times. The more the merrier. I love all animals big and small. I worked at a kennel where I learned about boarding and training dogs for about a year and I have pet sat for about 15 years in grand total. I have 3 German Shepherds. 10 months to 7 years old. As for in home pet sitting I would follow whatever routine you have set for your fur babies already so it would be easier on them.

Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”

Frequent home check-ins or dog walks are provided in the immediate Lodi area. All pets have their own preference. When boarding at Sleepy Pooch, pets are well supervised. Frequent outdoor activity is offered in a large fenced back yard. Larger dogs can be walked daily, if desired. Your loved one can sleep in the bedroom, alone in a kennel, or with the host’s pooch if he/she prefers. For pets who prefer to stay home, your host assures security of your property when entering and exiting. A mask will be worn at all times while inside your home. I assess the situation to identify any housekeeping issues that need to be addressed to keep your pet and home safe while you are away. Any mail or packages are brought inside. I also bring 9 years of experience working in a small animal veterinary hospital as a Registered Vet Tech. I am focusing on pet-sitting as my primary occupation at the moment. My daily routine begins with feeding the dogs and horses, followed by a morning walk around the property. Throughout the day, I allow them to play in the yard, giving them the opportunity for exercise and enjoyment.
