About: Hi, I grew up around several different animals of all sizes from rodents/reptiles to livestock/dogs. I have always had at least one dog in my life at all times. The more the merrier. I love all animals big and small. I worked at a kennel where I learned about boarding and training dogs for about a year and I have pet sat for about 15 years in grand total. I currently work at a pet store in Sutter Creek. I love being around dogs and training or even just hanging out and playing. I am a outdoorsy person. I have experience with livestock animals also. Horses, cattle, chickens, Lhamas, mini animals, donkeys. I have references also if you would like them. I work Tuesday-Saturday 9-5. I do also go to church on sundays from 10:30-12:00. If we did boarding at our house our daughter is always home so the animal would be with someone constantly. I care for pets in my home as I would my own. I have 3 German Shepherds. 10 months to 7 years old. As for in home pet sitting I would follow whatever routine you have set for your fur babies already so it would be easier on them.

About: Kevin and I have both been caring for dogs and many other types of animals for our entire lives and absolutely couldn’t envision our life without several animals. Kevin has grown up around a family dog business - participating in AKC scent trials, agility training, boarding and almost any other type of dog event & training you can imagine. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire lifetime and used to help foster kittens as a child and teenager. We currently have two dogs, several cats, chickens, turkeys and more. Your animals will be in safe and caring hands with us! We both work but set our own schedules and/or work from home so your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. Since we have animals of our own, caring for additional pets is not a problem and part of our normal lifestyle. We have a large fenced dog run outside, in home kennel area, along with crates for crate trained dogs. Our property is about 5 acres and fully fenced with front gates so dogs cannot leave the area. We also have a couple large lawns we use for doggy playtime, fetch and training sessions.

I assess the situation to identify any housekeeping issues that need to be addressed to keep your pet and home safe while you are away. Any mail or packages are brought inside. I stay home most days to garden so I have ample time to play with dogs and care for them. Most days I spend watching after my dogs, they are small and are crate trained and are friendly. My yard has layers of different fences, the dogs stay inside fences closest to my house to be looked after. I also have an inside area. I have crates, if needed. The dogs will have plenty of shade,food(if special food is needed, the owner must provide.), and water.

I'm a lover of all dogs but the big ones melt my heart and I have found through my own experience it can be difficult to find boarding for these big fur babies and their big personalities. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine since I’m home most of the day. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, timely walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. For in-home sitting, I focus on maintaining each pet’s normal routine while providing a calm, secure environment. I follow all owner instructions closely for feeding, medication, walks, and house rules. I’m attentive to behavior changes and prioritize safety at all times. In my own home, I use gates as needed to manage space and ensure dogs are safely separated when appropriate.
