About: My services include the basic outside time and feeding times, but leave room for walks, baths, and lots of playtime at the pet owner's discretion. I've worked with animals for over 15 years, have learned basic training techniques, been a pet sitter for several families, and have dealt with a variety of breeds (and sizes). Currently, I am living in the greater Athens, GA area with my Catahoula mix, Schatzie. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Animal Science and have decided that I want to devote my life to working with animals. I would love to get to know you and your four-legged friend(s)! Why do I love dog sitting? I've been a dog-lover my entire life. I grew up with cats, and decided that for my 16th birthday I wanted a dog instead of a car. I grew up volunteering at the local CSRA Humane Society - from dog walking to helping the vet tech there, my love for animals grew. It’s where I adopted my first dogs, Lorraine and MJ. It's my passion for animals that then led me to study Animal Science in college, and through my studies, I gained valuable experience with a variety of species. I am happy to watch your dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, reptiles, and the like! Do I have experience administering medication? Yes; I have spent several years working along-side a vet tech, and have become comfortable administering a variety of medications and treatments.
5. Adam G.
“Adam consistently takes *the* best care of my girl! Maggie and I are super bummed to learn he’ll only be in Nola for another week. If you need a polite, punctual, lover of dogs to take care of your fur baby, I highly recommend Adam!”

7. Linda K.
“Linda is the best! She leaves very detailed Rover cards, takes cute photos of your pup and showcases walk or play times in videos. She is very communicative and makes sure she knows your dogs needs. Our dog absolutely loved her and she took the best care of her while we were away! We can’t thank her enough and will definitely be using her for our next trip.”
8. Kathryn G.
“Kathryn has taken care of my pets for me many times. She loves animals and is very responsible. My dogs love her and are always happy to see her. She takes care of other people's pets like her own. The only challenge is that she struggles with stronger dogs who pull on leashes.”
9. Grace C.
“Grace will do an awesome job of taking care of your fur babies! She always does a great job when she house and pet sits our two large dogs. I trust her exclusively with my babies.”

About: Hi all! I have experience with high energy animals as I have grown up with Australian cattle dogs (red healers), and cats. I enjoy getting to know animals, taking them on walks, or just hanging out with them! I’d be happy to take your dog to the dog park as well. I am working part time as an Archival assistant internship for a museum this summer, so I have plenty of free time to care for your animals. I am looking to create trust between your pet and I, and if I become your regular sitter this will become easier! I am experienced with large and small animals (including exotics).
11. Campbell T.
“Campbell was great with our anxious dog, Rooster. She was patient and kind and we'll definitely ask for her help in caring for Rooster again!”
12. Samantha M.
“Sam is AMAZING. I recently moved my Golden Retriever from Florida to Athens and I was worried about him being home alone all day while I was at work. He can be a bit shy but he took to Sam straight away. Sam is responsible, communicative, and caring. It gives me so much comfort knowing she will be there to walk, feed, and give him love. Do not hesitate to book her!”
13. James S.
About: My experience with dogs began at birth with pets I called my brothers. Now, I am raising my own German Shepard/Lab mix whom I have had since he was 6 months old. I am a graduate student on summer break. My availability is wide open until classes resume in fall. I am available throughout the day to provide company, entertainment, or exercise for your pup, just ask and we can arrange something. I am a stickler for a schedule because it makes all the different in raising a dog. I make sure my pupper gets fed and goes out around the same time everyday.
14. Raegan R.
“Raegan has been a caregiver and animal lover her entire life. During her lifetime, we have had a zoo at our home from all the pets she has lovingly taken in. She prays for a dog and one shows up the next day. She dreams of a cat and, guess what, one shows up a few days later out of nowhere. She loves animals and they love her. She is a pre-vet student and is very responsible and reliable. I would trust her to care for my pets over anyone else I know.”
15. Chrissy S.
“I was so impressed with Chrissy. My pup is a GSP and not easy with people, they warmed right up to each other. My pup even let Chrissy pet her, absolutely outstanding”
16. Lauren G.
“Awesome girl and Lauren has helped me out with watching my dog several times !”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats all throughout my life. From taking care of my own dogs to housesitting for friends and family, my experience with pets is quite extensive. I'm currently working part time, so I'll have plenty of time to walk/play with your dogs! I'm available all throughout the week and most weekends. I have always loved quality time with animals. I'm eager to go on long walks or to toss a ball in the backyard, whatever is needed!
18. Gabriel S.
“Gabriel was awesome taking care of our two dogs for a week. He is very loving and patient with them. He prepared them fresh food daily. Took them for long walks instead of just turning them loose in the back yard. Gabriel even taught my GSP how to walk nicely on a lease. He is a rescue and we have been working on manners and Gabriel turned him into a fine gentleman in one week. We were so stressed about leaving our furry family members for a week but Gabriel didn’t mind us checking in as often as we did and he gave us peace of mind so we could enjoy our vacation.”
19. Amanda R.
“We love Amanda. She loves animals, is very attentive and caring and has pets of her own. She's watched our dog and cat many times, including overnights while we were on vacation. Our dog is diabetic, so she's on a strict food schedule....what to eat, what time to eat, and when to get her insulin shot. Amanda was amazing at handling that and had no problem with the shots. I highly recommend.”

About: I've had dogs and cats (and countless other pets) my whole life. I've been dog sitting for neighbors and friends since I was 10, and taking care of my own pets since I was 5. I worked for a PetSmart pet hotel running doggy day camp everyday, and caring for all of the many cats and dogs boarding. It was a great experience and I learned a lot about safety and first aid when it comes to pets. I've also volunteered at several animal shelters, caring for the animals, but also making sure they get some love. I'm comfortable around all different breeds and sizes of dogs. I am also comfortable with administering medications and caring for senior pets and puppies/kittens. If you are interested in boarding with me: Your dog cannot be dog aggressive. My dog Oscar is a registered therapy dog. He is excellent with all kinds of dogs of all sizes and energy levels. If your dog isn’t a huge fan of new friends that’s fine, he’ll get the hint and let them be. As long as they aren’t aggressive that’s no problem. He’s playful at times, but also a big fan of napping all day if that’s more what your dog has in mind. I have a fenced in yard. There are also no stairs needed to access the yard, which is great for older dogs or those that just aren’t a fan of stairs. I am both a PhD student and a homebody, so most days I’m home working on papers, grading, all that fun stuff. I love the study breaks I get from letting my dog out and spending some play time with him, and love any excuse to get out and walk or love on a dog! My home has a fenced in yard and my friendly dog Oscar who is great with new dogs. He is especially patient with puppies and older dogs. On walks elsewhere I carry a safety kit with items to safely break up dog fights. I’ve never had to use it thankfully! But working in a doggy day camp and receiving training in handling fights, I learned you can never be too careful. I make every effort to avoid any unleashed dogs on walks, but still like to be prepared for anything.
