House Sitting in El Cerrito

“Mason is an AMAZING dog sitter. He stayed with our dog Harley for about 10 days over the holiday break. He took great care of her AND of our house. He's responsible, responsive, and Harley loved him. Here's all the proof you need: Mason stopped by our house the day after we got back from our vacation. When Harley saw him at the door, she ran to him, started spinning circles, wagging her tail and then cuddled up to him like he was family. I highly recommend Mason and plan on working with him again. Harley is usually suspicious of new people but instantly took to Mason at the meet and greet. While we were away, he took her on lots of walks both in the neighborhood and around Tilden Park. Harley can be reactive to other dogs, but Mason had good strategies for dealing with it on these walks -- he's clearly experienced and knew exactly what to do. He also played fetch and rope tug in our back yard, and took care of her daily meds as well. Mason sent us photos each day, responded quickly when we texted him through the app, and when our return flight was delayed, he agreed to stay a few extra hours. When we got home, the house was sparkling clean, just as we left it. What more could you ask for? Thanks Mason!”

“We loved having Liliana and her partner watch our senior pup Kira! She was so sweet and calm with Kira when meeting her and my dog immediately took a liking to her. We got pretty regular updates on how Kira was doing with some pictures so we knew she was in good hands. Our dog also has some special needs with acid reflux episodes and Liliana did an awesome job communicating with me when it happened and kept Kira calm to get her through the episode. When we got home, they had already washed the bed sheets and towels and the house was super clean and well kept. Kira also was happy and looked so good! Will definitely be using them again for our future trips!”

About: During high school and college I worked both at a pet store (2years), a kennel (1year) and a vet clinic (4 years). During that time I would house sit, and do drop ins. I learned a lot about dog breeds, dog behavior, and general animal care. I can also care for birds, small mammals, reptiles and fish. I have personally owned at least 1 dog and 1 cat my whole life. Currently I own 1 of each. In my free time I love to go to Point Isabelle with my dog Pono, a French Bulldog. You can catch me out there at least 5 times a week walking my dog and loving on other dogs. I live in El Cerrito and work in Berkeley, so I spend about equal time in both areas. I currently WFH 3x week, so I can work animal care into my schedule. When I do go into work it is generally at my discretion so I am flexible. Loving care, based on your specifications. I do have a respectful 10 year old that I will likely bring with me. I would like to impart a sense of responsibility and work ethic.

“Harriet was fantastic at helping us out in an early morning all day situation where we needed someone experienced for a new separation anxious pup that was difficult to leash. She was able to come to our place very early and take the dog out on a number of different adventures and kept him entertained all day. We even got some photos that are better than any we have been able to take! We were lucky Harriet was able to adjust her schedule to help with our need and avoid stress for our pup!”
