About: Hi! I’ve had pets my whole life and absolutely love being around them. This is my first “professional” pet care experience, though I have a lifetime of practice. I am very friendly and reliable. I look forward to caring for your pets as I would my own! I have a hybrid work style and work from home Mondays and Friday. I will have most availability during the day Friday-Sunday. I am also available for walks and drop ins on weekday evenings. I unfortunately cannot welcome pets to my apartment, but will care for and play with your pet exactly as you ask! I will follow all rules to ensure your pet is safe and comfortable in their own environment.

About: I have been the proud cat mom of my little grey tuxedo cat, Sneakers, for 5 years, and I decided I wanted to meet other people's fur babies simply because I enjoy it so much. I almost wanted to go to vet school, but for me, I think pet sitting is a better match because I just want to love and cuddle every animal I meet! I have lived with cats for the past ~10 years from college to roommates, friends and family and now my own. I have several years of dog care experience from dog walking and house sitting for friends and families with dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, and even bearded dragons. The level of love and care I put into house and pet sitting is reflected in my rates. They are two separate but important aspects of this job, which is why while I'm staying in your home, I will also take care of plants, trash/recycling removal, and mail/packages. At the end of my stay, I will thoroughly clean your home and launder any used linens, so you don't have work to do after getting home from your trip. I work full time as a research lab manager, but I have a flexible schedule and can work remotely several days a week. On days that I do need to go in to the office, I'm able to cut those days short as well, so I can be back in 4-6 hours if needed. I generally prefer house sitting to drop in visits, both for convenience and to build a better relationship with your pet (and so they get to spend more time with someone while you're away!). I know lots of pets can get stressed out when their owner is gone and a stranger comes in. That's why I will be quiet, patient, and go at your pet's pace. I will try to make them as comfortable as possible and if they open up to me, I will spend lots of time playing with, snuggling, and brushing them!
