“Rose is fantastic with our dog. Kind, prompt, and compassionate. He’s not the most active guy and can be stubborn and Rose has embraced it all. We are so lucky to have found her.”

“Kourtney is amazing with my dog, Blue. I know he is in good hands at all times with Kourtney. Blue loves the walks and the affection he gets from them. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so I’m comfortable caring for all ages and personalities. I can help with walks (long or short), playtime to burn off energy, feeding, medication, and giving plenty of attention. I treat each pup how I would want my own to be cared for! I am working a full time job but my off days are Thursday-Saturday. I also typically do not start work until 8:30 am and I leave at 6:30 pm, so if you need your pup(s) to get an early morning or late night walk/play in, don’t hesitate to reach out! I live in a neighborhood with several parks/green spaces for dogs to walk and play! I have two friendly labs of my own; one who is more mellow and 10 years old, my other is a hyper 7 year old! I am more than happy to introduce them to other dogs or keep them separate - whatever you and your dog are comfortable with!

About: I bring a lifelong love of animals and a wide range of hands-on experience. I grew up caring for animals of all kinds, have walked dogs and supported adoptions in shelter environments, and have provided reliable in-home care through years of house sitting. I’ve also lived with and fostered cats for most of my life—including young, feral, and undersocialized ones—which has given me a strong intuition for reading animal behavior and offering calm, compassionate care. I'm skilled in administering all types of medications and am happy to handle the day-to-day tasks, from walks to litter box deep cleans, with real care and attention. As a self-employed person with a very flexible schedule, I’m able to accommodate pet care throughout the week—including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. This allows me to tailor my availability to meet the specific needs of each pet and household, whether it’s daily visits, drop-ins, or walks at off-peak hours. When boarding cats in my home, I provide a calm, private room just for them—completely separate from my own cats—to ensure they feel safe and stress-free during their stay. In a client’s home, I’m attentive to any specific routines or safety needs, including crating dogs if requested. I always prioritize a pet’s comfort and well-being, keeping their environment clean, secure, and aligned with what they're used to.

“Fiona has a great rapport with my dog and she’s so good at being flexible working around my schedule! She’s professional and timely communicating. She’s made a huge difference in my dogs quality of life and I’m so grateful for her!”

“We were very pleased with Lily’s service. Having a mid day walk was able to cut down on the potty accidents with our older dog while we were at work. She even was able to tame and walk our other protective dog that’s never gone outside for any other dog walker!”

“Matt did a great job with our two pups. They are both rescue dogs and he was very focused on making sure they felt comfortable with him, which we really appreciate! The dogs had a great time and we had peace of mind knowing they were safe and well cared for on their walk.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life (labs) but love all breeds and cats as well. Grew up with senior dogs and currently have a 1y old puppy that I train and have taken care of since he was 2m old as well as a 6y old that I’ve trained since she was a puppy. I’m currently taking part time classes at USM in Portland during the week, so I am often flexible and available during the day. Based on your needs, I am able to accommodate your schedule for weeks or weekends!! I’ve trained my current dogs to leash walk and take them to the park off-leash whenever we go. They are both crate trained as well.

About: Hello, my name is Vicki and I absolutely love animals. I used to work at a doggie daycare which was amazing. Now I work a Mon-Fri 8am-5pm job which gives me a lot of free time. I am comfortable with all size and shapes of dogs as I own and live with a 125lb rottweiler and 50 hound/pit mix. So if you have a big house horse that needs a strong walker I'm more than comfortable with that. But I also have two cats that are 7 and 9 pounds so I'm very happy with a small cuddle buddy as well. On top of dogs and cats I have taken care of lizards, fish, and a bird. If your baby has a heartbeat and love I can't wait to spend time with them. As stated above I work 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday so I am not out super late or early in the morning. I like to take my own dogs on adventure walks/hikes after I get home and on weekends. As I will be staying in your home I like to come by before the stay so that A: you and your pet can meet me and to B: ask you about the routine in your home. Whether you have rooms, crates, eating schedules, medication etc. I am also more than happy to read any lists or guides that you feel the need to leave as it helps me to make sure nothing is overlooked or forgotten.

About: I’ve had dogs growing up from puppies to seniors. I walked and took care of neighbors dogs too! I love to spend time with dogs! I work 7:45-4:30 M,T,TH,F. I’m off on Wednesdays. I can check in on your pet before and after work! Wednesdays I can usually check in at anytime! I do have two friendly cats who stay inside. I will listen to the pet parents instructions and make sure your pet is cared for and safe.

About: I have owned my own dogs from puppies to senior dogs. I don’t have any professional pet care experience but I am very compassionate and love spending time with dogs! I am an avid hiker and outdoor lover so dog walking is a perfect opportunity for me. I work full time from Tuesday to Sunday so the Monday and Sunday are best for me. Anytime of day will work! Early morning during the week may also work. I will find safe areas to walk your dog and always clean up after them. I will also bring water and a portable bowl for them to drink from.

About: *Recently moved to Yarmouth, Maine and back on Rover - accepting new clients* 🐾 🐾 Rates 🐾 🐾 I am happy to travel but may need to add a mileage fee for bookings outside of my 15 minute radius. All rates are negotiable. *Boarding: I only host 1 family's pets at a time. This provides a safer environment for your pet and an "at home" feel with plenty of attention, especially for reactive or aging dogs. I don't use crates or kennels but if you want to bring yours along that is fine, I also have 1 medium sized crate on hand if needed. I have a very clean home and welcome pets to feel comfortable if they would like to snooze on the sofas, bed, and we have a secure fenced in yard, but I do not leave dogs unattended in the yard. I usually take my dog to the local dog parks and nature trails and would bring yours along too. 🐾 🐾 Basic Info 🐾 🐾 I am an EMT, certified in Pet CPR + First Aid. For the past 25 years, I have been an animal caretaker. My favorite part is getting to know all of the different breeds and personalities. Your pets will be treated with love, and be as comfortable in my home as yours. I always send lots of photos at the end of each day. 🐾 🐾 My daily schedule 🐾 🐾 I work from home as a university professor. My position is remote, so I am able to work anywhere with a wifi connection. I work for rover occasionally and my schedule is typically super organized and flexible. We do at least 2 active hours per day- and we try to squeeze in as many hikes as possible. My boyfriend is also very helpful with the dogs- if they are up for it, he will take them jogging every night.

About: I have had two dogs throughout my life, and I have been responsible for feeding it and walking it. I have experience with puppy care as well as senior dog care. I have had multiple experiences taking care of dogs outside my own family as well! I also have owned multiple horses throughout my life, as well as chickens and a goat! I have tons of experience with all types of animal care! I am a college student who has classes throughout the week (but have gaps). I am looking for a nice study break to spend with dogs and get exercise! I have a lot more free time during the weekends, that I would love to spend walking dogs! “Alexandra is an amazing person. She is so caring to people and especially animals. I have never seen so much empathy in someone before and Alexandra is the perfect kind of person to love and care for your furr baby when you need her to. She's also very responsible and really makes sure she is doing everything right when it comes to work but also things she does for herself. I have no doubt in my mind that Alexandra would be the best fit to care for your dog and I think your dog would agree too once they meet her.”

Dani B.

“Dani walked and dog sat for my dog Taz since he was 12 weeks old. Not only did she walk Taz she helped with house breaking and training Taz. She is punctual courteous and best of all loves dogs and even better … the dogs love her. In fact I think Taz had a difficult time leaving her side when I left him for a week with her. If you have an opportunity to utilize her “dog whisperer” like services you’re in luck. I wholeheartedly recommend her without any reservations!”
