About: I've had dogs for over 60 years. All my dogs have lived long and happy lives. Animals are the best creation by God! I have a heart for all animals but I truly love dogs. I want to help others by being the best caregiver out there to leave their fur babies with. I'm picky and understand the need of someone you can trust while you are away. Boarding in a kennel is not an option for me and I understand safety is paramount along with quality care. I have a Shit-zu and a Chihuahua whom both are my life and my husband always says: If he was a to come back in another life as a dog, he wants to come to my house! Best description I can think of for what they mean to me and the care they receive.

About: I have cared for domestic pets of all kinds - cats, dogs (all sizes), birds, turtles, lizards, etc - as a sitter and for fun. My aunt (whom my mother lives with) is a dog trainer as well as a breeder (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) 25+ yrs. I grew up volunteering my time doing puppy evaluations, crate-training, potty-training, etc. I frequently babysit my friends pets while they are away, and have cats of my own at the house! I recently resigned my job as a firefighter, and have extra time in my schedule to have a side gig I care about. Walks, hikes, runs and swims if the dog is active! I understand each pet as it’s own needs and individual personalities. I care for other pets as they were my own, and I hope to make a great fit as a sitter for you! I am available 24/7 for pet care (overnight or drop-ins) as I recently resigned from my job to move to FL with my partner. I am currently looking for a full-time job. So call me! I live in an apartment complex with a large, fenced in dog park. It’s location is safe, next to a middle school. We have plenty of empty space to watch pets over night in separate rooms, or let them roam free depending on their personal needs. Additionally, the complex is located next to an outdoor recreation area with walking trails and sidewalks.

About: I currently take care of two dogs and one cat in my house. I've taken care of my house pets since I was a kid (three dogs, three cats) Out of school for the summer and don't have class unit August. Even if I can't stay over we can still discuss arrangements for me to come over when I'm out of class. Feed them in the morning and late afternoon (or if client had a requested feeding time), take them for a nice walk, and play with the animals to keep them active

Our sweet pup isn't always a fan of strangers - especially when we're leaving him with them. Terry was able to win him over - and even sent me a video of her giving him a belly rub! Not only was she willing to stay with him the entire time, but she brought him two toys - one being a stuffed alligator which has become his favorite since we've returned home! “Rhea was amazing! Our beagle pup was diagnosed with lymphoma just a few weeks prior to our trip. We needed someone quickly who could be at our house 24/7 and transport our pup for vet appointments and a chemo treatment, as well as, manage lots of medications and medical care. Rhea came to visit for a few hours prior to our trip, and our four dogs fell in love. Knowing how worried we were, Rhea came over about an hour before we had to leave, so everyone could relax and settle in. She regularly texted us photos and updates. Our vet even commented about how kind and professional Rhea was. We had a late flight home, and even so, she stayed until 10pm, so they would not be alone. We are beyond grateful and thankful for her care for our special needs pup.”

About: Im in my 50's but Ive always loved animals since i was very young.. i was in 4-H as a teenager & thats when I started petsitting. When I was 28 i started my petsitting/housesitting business. I had that business for 20 years in Ohio. We moved here in 2019. I have continued my petsitting here & love what I do! My visits are about 30 minutes. I do feeding, watering, litter boxes, medications, insulin is okay also. I will bring in the mail and newspaper and water plants & fill birdfeeders. I enjoy walking dogs as well as playing with them in their yard. I am comfortable with many other pets including cats, Birds, fish ()I have a 40 gallon aquarium, & a 10 gallon) hamsters, gerbils (& other rodents) guinea pigs, ferrets, rabbits, iguanas and other lizards. I can do as many visits per day as you would like. I can also stay longer if you need. When I do "housesitting " , its a bedtime visit, sleepover & morning visit before I head out for other clients. I will do as many drop-in visits as you would like during the day before I return for the overnight (housesit).

About: I've always been a dog lover. We have had experience watching our family and friends dogs for periods of time, prior to joining Rover. We grew up with dogs and have had pets all of our lives. I currently own a miniature dachshund named Mushu. I take watching your dog seriously. It’s important that they are cared for, loved, safe, and most importantly that they have fun. Because they are on vacation too! They'll have free rein of my apartment with plenty of room to play and places to curl up and nap. I don't have any kids and only board one dog at a time, so your pup's "vacation" can be as stress-free as possible! I live near lots of walking paths and enjoy going on long walks myself, so if your dog can walk (or even run) for 2-4 miles at a time, then we can certainly do that! If not, we can stay closer to home for some short walks or hanging out in several large grassy areas close by. I love taking lots of pictures of my furry sleepovers, and will be happy to send you updates and pics as often as you like while you are away! We look forward to having the opportunity to watch your furry family member.

She grew up on a farm and raised pigs, horses (bottle feeding the last foal), dogs, cats, rabbits, and chickens. Angel is a Veteran Military Police with the Army Reserves. She’s always grown up with pets. Her first dog was a Chow named Rosco. We have 3 acres of fenced in property with plenty of room to run and play. Play time is always supervised. Taylor works from home keeping your pups exercised mentally and physically. She is passionate about the partnership built between a person and animal. Angel is full time with the pets give undivided attention 💕 It is our goal to stay relevant in the pet industry and continue with our dog trainings so we can be more of an asset to pet parents. For safety, we follow a prevention plan. Evaluation any potential hazards and continuously read body language. It’s always better to Prevent a problem than to fix it.

For dogs: I follow your feeding schedule, take them on walks that match their energy level (whether that's a leisurely sniff-filled stroll or a brisk energy-burner), and provide plenty of playtime and attention. I'm happy to let them out in the backyard for potty breaks and will stick to any special instructions you have. For cats: I respect their independence and let them approach me on their own timeline. I'll handle feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and medication if needed. I'm experienced giving treatments like steroids to senior cats. General care: I'll send you photos and updates so you know your pet is doing well. I can also bring in mail, water plants, or adjust blinds to keep your home looking lived-in while you're away. My goal is to provide stress-free care so your pet stays happy and comfortable in their own environment, and you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.
