About: Since I was a child, I have always had pets in my house; dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, etc. I have experience in basic training, working with senior dogs, medicating dogs, puppies (both caring for and potty training), and body language in dogs. I know much about mannerisms and behavior in dogs as well as how to combat the bad ones. I have worked with all types of dogs, as I have worked in the pet food industry before. I have volunteered with multiple dog rescues in Florida including The Animal League and Hound Haven. I am a certified Canine Training & Behavior Specialist as of 2021. I am currently half way through a pet nutrition course as of 2022. I currently have a business from my home. If I have any markets, I would have to leave during the day for about 4-6 hours to handle that and possibly longer hours due to markets themselves. I have recently moved to a 3 acre plot, in which we are currently building a doggy haven with tons of fenced in running area and in the future pools and play equipment. If a VIP (very important pet) doesn't have access to a backyard I like to walk 3+ times daily depending on the dog. I feed my dogs twice a day on the best food I make myself. I have literal baskets of dog toys as well as safe chews for the dogs who like to chew. I'd rather not take dogs to a dog park as of the safety issue. I have two horses and 18 chickens that roam on my 3 acres and can take dogs as long as they are on leash to meet them. I live with a roommate who also helps take care of any pets in the house. I have five pets in the house; my pigeon, Sterling who 'rules the roost'; my two ferrets, Dobby & Dougal who love to play; my large (75lbs) dog, Blake who is excited at first then is calm; and my medium (30lbs) dog Akira who is most playful of the bunch. I watch all interactions with my pets and do have 'safety' crates for my pets if any issues of socialization.

About: I have experience with small to extra large breeds. I have worked with a professional trainer to train my dogs. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs with special needs. I truly have a love for all animals. I will treat your loved ones as I would want mine treated in my absence. Thank you for viewing my profile. I am a teacher. I have a fenced yard and my own cats and dogs to keep your pet from feeling lonely. I have crates as well as playpens. I try very hard to keep my home safe and clean, however it is a pet and kid friendly home.

About: I've always been a dog lover. We have had experience watching our family and friends dogs for periods of time, prior to joining Rover. We grew up with dogs and have had pets all of our lives. I currently own a miniature dachshund named Mushu. I take watching your dog seriously. It’s important that they are cared for, loved, safe, and most importantly that they have fun. Because they are on vacation too! They'll have free rein of my apartment with plenty of room to play and places to curl up and nap. I don't have any kids and only board one dog at a time, so your pup's "vacation" can be as stress-free as possible! I live near lots of walking paths and enjoy going on long walks myself, so if your dog can walk (or even run) for 2-4 miles at a time, then we can certainly do that! If not, we can stay closer to home for some short walks or hanging out in several large grassy areas close by. I love taking lots of pictures of my furry sleepovers, and will be happy to send you updates and pics as often as you like while you are away! We look forward to having the opportunity to watch your furry family member.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. My neighbors trusted me to watch their dogs as well. I now have 3 big dogs of my own! I can fall in love with any dog regardless of size or temper. In my eyes all dogs need the same amount of love! I am in between jobs at the moment but looking for a part time job as well as this. I also have a 6 month old baby and I am adapted to being a mother at the same time. I make sure they have their water bowls filled. Also will make sure to feed them based on what feeding schedule they are on at the time, and take them for walks daily. Also I’ll make sure they get enough love and affection while their owners are gone.

About: Hey! My name is Bethany 😁 I love handing a helping hand when it comes to our best friends. Lived my whole life having pets. Currently i have 2 cats, 1 bunny, 1 betta, and 6 aquarium snails. I studied and graduated as a veterinarian assistant from a votech high school. While In school we worked on dogs twice a week. Taking care of them included grooming, baths, exercise, feeding, giving medications, and sometimes just cuddles. A few days outta the year we would have birds, lizards, bunnies, or even horses. If you decide to book me just know your fluffy baby is my number one priority. I’ll take care of them as if they were my own!! I work part time overnight from midnight til about 4:30/5am and then the remainder of the day I am home with my son and animals. I take care of pets as if they were my own children. I like routines and I love cuddles. Does your pet have special care that’s ok I adapt to what is needed!

About: I have cared for domestic pets of all kinds - cats, dogs (all sizes), birds, turtles, lizards, etc - as a sitter and for fun. My aunt (whom my mother lives with) is a dog trainer as well as a breeder (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) 25+ yrs. I grew up volunteering my time doing puppy evaluations, crate-training, potty-training, etc. I frequently babysit my friends pets while they are away, and have cats of my own at the house! I recently resigned my job as a firefighter, and have extra time in my schedule to have a side gig I care about. Walks, hikes, runs and swims if the dog is active! I understand each pet as it’s own needs and individual personalities. I care for other pets as they were my own, and I hope to make a great fit as a sitter for you! I am available 24/7 for pet care (overnight or drop-ins) as I recently resigned from my job to move to FL with my partner. I am currently looking for a full-time job. So call me! I live in an apartment complex with a large, fenced in dog park. It’s location is safe, next to a middle school. We have plenty of empty space to watch pets over night in separate rooms, or let them roam free depending on their personal needs. Additionally, the complex is located next to an outdoor recreation area with walking trails and sidewalks.

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats in some aspect my entire life. I have successfully cared for many different breeds. Animals are my biggest passion and I believe they are family that deserve the same respect and care. My hope is to make pet care my full time job. I would like to be able to dedicate all of my availability to caring for pets. I believe it is important to follow the pets normal routine as directed by the owner. If a fenced area is not accessible the pet will remain leashed while outdoors. While in fenced areas pet will be monitored closely to avoid any potential problems.

About: I have always loved pet sitting for my aunts friends and my family, It brings so much joy and the animals I care for always love being with me. I am currently a full time student, pet-sitting is a flexible job that I love doing, and it works best with my busy school schedule. I will always make sure the dogs are on leashes being aware of the surroundings for their and mine safety. About: Hello everyone! I am Cortenay, and from the age of 10 I have been caring passionately for animals. I have always felt that I have a special connection with them and understand them. Finally in my early twenties I began caring for them professionally at Mulberry Grove animal hospital. I started in the hospitals boarding wing where I provided personal around the clock care to all of the beautiful fur babies that came to stay. I fell in love with this being that caring for pets has always been my first love. My final chapter in the veterinary field was when I was promoted to a veterinary technician, where I administered medication and cared for special needs pets as well. In conclusion, I have made the decision to step out of the corporate world of care and actually be able to give "up close and personal" care for someones best friend/friends. Where we will be happy and comfortable together in the comforts of home. My schedule is open! If I have a spot open at the time and day that's convenient for you and your furry friend, I will gladly make it happen. I have a beautiful fluffy frenchie, and a short haired pointer. They are extremely friendly and structured dogs. My home is very spacious, and I have plenty of room for tail wagging visitors.
