About: I've had the joy of having dogs and cats in my life for as long as I can remember, and over the years, I've also gained experience taking care of birds, bunnies, and chickens. As a retired couple, we're home all the time and have a spacious, half-acre fenced yard where your pets will feel safe and comfortable. With our flexible schedule, we're able to offer both boarding and daycare services, and we promise to treat your pets like they're part of our family. Whether it's cuddling with our dogs and cats or caring for other animals, we're always ready to provide the love and attention your pets deserve. Pet care is an important part of my daily routine and something I genuinely enjoy. I organize my schedule around the pets I care for to ensure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and rest. Since I only accept a maximum of 3 pets at a time for boarding or daycare, I’m able to give each one the personalized care they deserve. This also helps me create a calm and safe environment, especially for smaller dogs, as it prevents them from feeling overwhelmed or at risk around larger or more energetic pets. From fearful to ferocious to even just emotionally shut down, I will always pride myself on never seeing a scared or aggressive animal as a "lost cause". I believe that every animal is a living, breathing, thinking being who deserves the utmost care and respect. I'll be sure to ask the owner about any preferences or rules before entering a client's house. I've been a Pediatric nurse for 25 years which qualifies me to take care of small, unpredictable, adorable creatures! I am semi retired and enjoy travel so I understand the importance of someone you trust to take care of your fur babies. I'd like to be that person for you! I only work part-time so I am available most days, Tues-Sun, for drop in visits, multiple drop ins if needed, mid-morning to early evening works best but other times can be discussed if needed. I can drop in and make sure your pet has plenty of water and food. No problem scooping out a litter box or two or three! Would love to give treats, scratches, brushes, and play time! I will also do a walk through for any "accidents" that may have occurred & clean those up accordingly.

About: I started caring for dogs over 20 years ago when I was working with a vet in Colorado doing a pet nutrition study with her. She was just starting a doggie daycare and I fell in love with the whole concept. When I moved back home to Ocala in 2007 there were no dog friendly places like there were in Colorado so I decided to open an in home dog daycare. I’ve been doing that for the last 18 years. I have years of experience in dog nutrition, dog boarding and daycare as well working with dogs with special needs whether emotional or due to abuse. I have experience with many different health issues in dogs such as epilepsy, diabetes, megaesophagus, and more. I’m am qualified to give injections, medication, and specialized care for dogs recovering from surgeries, injuries, and physical disabilities. I also have experience with pregnant and nursing moms and their puppies. Pet care is my full time job and life. I do not have any other job. I do have to keep a pretty organized schedule :) My home has a 6’ privacy fence and is set up for dogs to feel that they are at their second home. All dogs coming into my home are fully screened and temperament tested. All vaccinations, recent negative fecal, and proof of preventatives are required before staying. I do provide puppy care in owner’s homes, but not in my home until they are fully vaccinated. I do stay pretty full with boarding, but I am looking to expand and add the service of in-your-home visits mid-day during the week for dogs that have to stay home all day while mom and dad work.

About: I have been an animal lover all my life! My experience with animals includes watching dogs and cats over the past years as well as growing up around animals. I have also cared for stable horses in exchange for horseback riding lessons. My mother has been a housekeeper and dog sitter since I can remember, and has taught me the etiquette required for these jobs that few people possess today. About: I've been around dogs my entire life. Also used to be in nuisance wildlife removal which is a form of animal control, so I am very knowledgeable when it comes to every single species in the animal kingdom. While I do have an independent company for dog walking. Rover seems to be a good medium to get more clients. I recently started this venture because my dog of 13 years had passed away, and since I have no plans on getting another animal for the foreseeable future, I found it would be therapeutic to be able to interact and care for other people's animals. They will receive the best care! I will always make sure they frequently use the bathroom, and get good walks in to make sure their nails are kept in good condition so you don't have to mess around with clipping them. Also my furniture is 100% accessable for all pets I sit invade they need a comfortable place to rest. ☺️ DISCLAIMER: I CANNOT SIT CATS DUE TO SEVERE ALLERGIES. APOLOGIES TO CAT PARENTS. I am legitimately always free during the week. Any other work I do is from home so your pets will always get attention and love. I also love going on walks so they will definitely get to do that a lot! I also have leashes of my own as well as dog dishes for food and water. My house has a pretty big backyard but it's not fenced in a traditional way. It has a guard to make sure people are not on the golf course, but if I ever do let your pet outside in the backyard then they'll always be on a leash with me close behind. That's only really if they have to use the bathroom in a quick manner because then I clean it up afterwards. I also have some dog toys lying around if they're interested in that! Always will find some kind of activity to do with your pets.
