“Susan has repeatedly cared for our dog Mossy in our home and brought her into her home for longer visits. She tends to Mossy's mastif needs with great care, including daily walks, her specific meal needs, giving oral medications, putting in her ear drops, and playtime with all of her many toys. She manages to keep Mossy calm when she gets anxiety from separation or storms. I would highly recommend her to any dog lover!”

About: I have always had animals in my life my entire life. My first job was at a dog kennel as a kennel attendant. My family has even fostered animals and helped them find their forever homes. I currently work for the Humane Society. I am currently a part time college student, but I will have plenty of time with your fur babies. Willing to make yours and my schedule work. At the moment I am not accepting animals at my home, but I am willing to go to client's homes to care for their fur babies. Anywhere from letting them outside to play and go for walks to making sure they have food, water, and a clean bed to relax in.

About: Since I was a child, I have always had pets in my house; dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, etc. I have experience in basic training, working with senior dogs, medicating dogs, puppies (both caring for and potty training), and body language in dogs. I know much about mannerisms and behavior in dogs as well as how to combat the bad ones. I have worked with all types of dogs, as I have worked in the pet food industry before. I have volunteered with multiple dog rescues in Florida including The Animal League and Hound Haven. I am a certified Canine Training & Behavior Specialist as of 2021. I am currently half way through a pet nutrition course as of 2022. I currently have a business from my home. If I have any markets, I would have to leave during the day for about 4-6 hours to handle that and possibly longer hours due to markets themselves. I have recently moved to a 3 acre plot, in which we are currently building a doggy haven with tons of fenced in running area and in the future pools and play equipment. If a VIP (very important pet) doesn't have access to a backyard I like to walk 3+ times daily depending on the dog. I feed my dogs twice a day on the best food I make myself. I have literal baskets of dog toys as well as safe chews for the dogs who like to chew. I'd rather not take dogs to a dog park as of the safety issue. I have two horses and 18 chickens that roam on my 3 acres and can take dogs as long as they are on leash to meet them. I live with a roommate who also helps take care of any pets in the house. I have five pets in the house; my pigeon, Sterling who 'rules the roost'; my two ferrets, Dobby & Dougal who love to play; my large (75lbs) dog, Blake who is excited at first then is calm; and my medium (30lbs) dog Akira who is most playful of the bunch. I watch all interactions with my pets and do have 'safety' crates for my pets if any issues of socialization.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. My neighbors trusted me to watch their dogs as well. I now have 3 big dogs of my own! I can fall in love with any dog regardless of size or temper. In my eyes all dogs need the same amount of love! I am in between jobs at the moment but looking for a part time job as well as this. I also have a 6 month old baby and I am adapted to being a mother at the same time. I make sure they have their water bowls filled. Also will make sure to feed them based on what feeding schedule they are on at the time, and take them for walks daily. About: I've always been a dog lover. We have had experience watching our family and friends dogs for periods of time, prior to joining Rover. We grew up with dogs and have had pets all of our lives. I currently own a miniature dachshund named Mushu. I take watching your dog seriously. It’s important that they are cared for, loved, safe, and most importantly that they have fun. Because they are on vacation too! They'll have free rein of my apartment with plenty of room to play and places to curl up and nap. I don't have any kids and only board one dog at a time, so your pup's "vacation" can be as stress-free as possible! I live near lots of walking paths and enjoy going on long walks myself, so if your dog can walk (or even run) for 2-4 miles at a time, then we can certainly do that! If not, we can stay closer to home for some short walks or hanging out in several large grassy areas close by. I love taking lots of pictures of my furry sleepovers, and will be happy to send you updates and pics as often as you like while you are away! About: Truthfully, I have always taken to animals. The world is full of terrible things— but animals just simply aren’t one of them. When I was 14 I began rehabbing animals — and not just dogs (squirrels, raccoons, opossums, chinchillas, sugar gliders, etc) and my name was on the vet’s list so they called when they needed a fostering spot for them. I didn’t make money then, I just did it because if I didn’t, then who would’ve? I have a 2 year old now, and I can’t take on as many rehabbing projects, but we still very much enjoy the company of a full home with animals. They are loved on, treated with respect, and the goal is to make them excited for their next play date. I don’t have reviews yet, because I am just starting on this app! But I have, personally, saved over 15 animals at 23 years old, and it’s something that I’m proud of. I feel confident that your pet will be cared for with my family— as we will treat it like our own! There is nearly always a person in my household. Furthermore, I just treat the extra pet the same way I treat my puppy! Two is not really much more difficult then one… haha! I have a 6-foot privacy fence. I have a heavy-duty collar and leash for walks (this helps to engage the dogs and allow them to release energy). I have a fully metal barred large crate in case the dog requires some peace and quiet. I have a four by three foot dog bed with blankets for the pups to relax on. There is ALWAYS water down, and if I have to feed, then dogs eat separately— as I don’t ever put dogs in a situation where they feel they need to be defensive or on guard. Contrary to people’s belief, dogs don’t need toys. I have them, but I don’t keep them down because if two dogs are present and they go for the same one, it could cause an unintentional fight. I add this information not to scare, but to actually put pet owners at ease. I am extremely experienced when it comes to breeds of dogs—their needs, their desires, and what makes them unique! More importantly, I respect them, and put them in a respectful environment where they feel comfortable,

About: My two dogs are everything to me. Animals are truly a persons best friend, mine sure are. I would treat all of your babies like they’re my own. I just moved back to the area and I only work a couple nights a week so I have plenty of availability to care for your pets! Animals shouldn’t have to spend a full day alone, I am available for walks, visits, and any loving attention needed for your pets while you work. My two dogs are spoiled. They are allowed on the furniture, they sleep in my bed, and I cook for them often so I can do whatever you need for your babies to make them feel comfortable, happy, and safe.
