When I came to visit her house I could tell immediately that she was an experienced dog owner as she was studying the body language of my dog (Tesla). Tesla is usually a very high energy dog and so the huge back yard as a big plus. Marcela also has a dog (Hades) who is probably the best behaved dog I have ever seen. Hades and Tesla became fast friends and he was never lonely or without someone to play with. Overall, Marcela was a tremendous help and would be the first person to contact again if I ever needed a sitter.”

I've taken care of my house pets since I was a kid (three dogs, three cats) Out of school for the summer and don't have class unit August. Even if I can't stay over we can still discuss arrangements for me to come over when I'm out of class. I love to travel so having another baby right now is not in the cards. Taking care of your baby is the next best thing. I have had people fly me out to Portland, California, and New York to pet sit for them. I absolutley love it. Some of the dogs I have cared for were sick or new family members. I love to take them on new adventures but only if Mom and Dad are okay with it. I also love to train, play, and hug on them. I used to live on a farm and I have had experience with many different pets/animals. I have experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, farm animals and small animals. I also have experience with bathing, trimming nails, cleaning ears, and expressing anal glands. I can also administer medications. This is my full time job so I can do my very best to accommodate anyone who needs a pet sitter who truly cares about their pets. My wife and daughters help me sometimes as well. Our daughters are also knowledgeable in pet care from getting hands on experience through me. My wife just come with me every where I stay for Moral support. 💕 I have a fully privacy fenced in yard. If the pet is in a home without fence I will be sure to leash walk your pet for safety reasons. If your pet feels comfortable in a crate feel free to bring it. Also if there is a special toy, bed or something they enjoy or prefer they can bring it along for their stay.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life. We grew up with a small farm, horses, cows, chickens, bunnies, guinea pigs dogs cats you name it we’ve had it. To be honest, I enjoy animals more than people most times but I’m retired and find It’s very boring so I would love to have something to keep me busy.. About: I have always had animals in my life my entire life. My first job was at a dog kennel as a kennel attendant. My family has even fostered animals and helped them find their forever homes. I currently work for the Humane Society. I am currently a part time college student, but I will have plenty of time with your fur babies. Willing to make yours and my schedule work. About: Truthfully, I have always taken to animals. The world is full of terrible things— but animals just simply aren’t one of them. When I was 14 I began rehabbing animals — and not just dogs (squirrels, raccoons, opossums, chinchillas, sugar gliders, etc) and my name was on the vet’s list so they called when they needed a fostering spot for them. I didn’t make money then, I just did it because if I didn’t, then who would’ve? I have a 2 year old now, and I can’t take on as many rehabbing projects, but we still very much enjoy the company of a full home with animals. They are loved on, treated with respect, and the goal is to make them excited for their next play date. I don’t have reviews yet, because I am just starting on this app! But I have, personally, saved over 15 animals at 23 years old, and it’s something that I’m proud of. I feel confident that your pet will be cared for with my family— as we will treat it like our own! There is nearly always a person in my household. Furthermore, I just treat the extra pet the same way I treat my puppy! Two is not really much more difficult then one… haha! I have a 6-foot privacy fence. I have a heavy-duty collar and leash for walks (this helps to engage the dogs and allow them to release energy). I have a fully metal barred large crate in case the dog requires some peace and quiet. I have a four by three foot dog bed with blankets for the pups to relax on. There is ALWAYS water down, and if I have to feed, then dogs eat separately— as I don’t ever put dogs in a situation where they feel they need to be defensive or on guard. Contrary to people’s belief, dogs don’t need toys. I have them, but I don’t keep them down because if two dogs are present and they go for the same one, it could cause an unintentional fight. I add this information not to scare, but to actually put pet owners at ease. I am extremely experienced when it comes to breeds of dogs—their needs, their desires, and what makes them unique! More importantly, I respect them, and put them in a respectful environment where they feel comfortable,

About: Since I was a child, I have always had pets in my house; dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, etc. I have experience in basic training, working with senior dogs, medicating dogs, puppies (both caring for and potty training), and body language in dogs. I know much about mannerisms and behavior in dogs as well as how to combat the bad ones. I have worked with all types of dogs, as I have worked in the pet food industry before. I have volunteered with multiple dog rescues in Florida including The Animal League and Hound Haven. I am a certified Canine Training & Behavior Specialist as of 2021. I am currently half way through a pet nutrition course as of 2022. I currently have a business from my home. If I have any markets, I would have to leave during the day for about 4-6 hours to handle that and possibly longer hours due to markets themselves. I have recently moved to a 3 acre plot, in which we are currently building a doggy haven with tons of fenced in running area and in the future pools and play equipment. If a VIP (very important pet) doesn't have access to a backyard I like to walk 3+ times daily depending on the dog. I feed my dogs twice a day on the best food I make myself. I have literal baskets of dog toys as well as safe chews for the dogs who like to chew. I'd rather not take dogs to a dog park as of the safety issue. I have two horses and 18 chickens that roam on my 3 acres and can take dogs as long as they are on leash to meet them. I live with a roommate who also helps take care of any pets in the house. I have five pets in the house; my pigeon, Sterling who 'rules the roost'; my two ferrets, Dobby & Dougal who love to play; my large (75lbs) dog, Blake who is excited at first then is calm; and my medium (30lbs) dog Akira who is most playful of the bunch. I watch all interactions with my pets and do have 'safety' crates for my pets if any issues of socialization.

From an energetic 8-month-old Staffy puppy I cared for over 6 weeks to sweet senior dogs who need gentle, patient love, I've worked with Great Danes, Border Collies, terriers, rescues, and more. I love going on walks while listening to music or audiobooks, so adding a friendly dog companion is never a hassle! Whether your pup wants to stop and smell every smell or needs a brisk walk to burn off energy, I'm happy to match their pace. I'm also available for drop-in visits to check on your pet, let them out in the backyard, or provide midday company. For cat parents: I understand that cats need patience and respect. I've cared for both indoor and outdoor cats, including seniors requiring medication like steroid treatments every other day. I always let cats come to me on their own time—no forced cuddles, just calm, reliable care. Unfortunately, I'm not offering boarding at my home right now, but I'm happy to provide walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting at your place! Since I'm currently offering drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting at the client's home, I focus on making your pet feel comfortable and keeping their normal routine. For dogs: I follow your feeding schedule, take them on walks that match their energy level (whether that's a leisurely sniff-filled stroll or a brisk energy-burner), and provide plenty of playtime and attention. I'm happy to let them out in the backyard for potty breaks and will stick to any special instructions you have. For cats: I respect their independence and let them approach me on their own timeline. I'll handle feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and medication if needed. I'm experienced giving treatments like steroids to senior cats. General care: I'll send you photos and updates so you know your pet is doing well. I can also bring in mail, water plants, or adjust blinds to keep your home looking lived-in while you're away. My goal is to provide stress-free care so your pet stays happy and comfortable in their own environment, and you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.

I just moved back to the area and I only work a couple nights a week so I have plenty of availability to care for your pets! About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. My neighbors trusted me to watch their dogs as well. I now have 3 big dogs of my own! I can fall in love with any dog regardless of size or temper. In my eyes all dogs need the same amount of love! I am in between jobs at the moment but looking for a part time job as well as this. I also have a 6 month old baby and I am adapted to being a mother at the same time. I make sure they have their water bowls filled. Also will make sure to feed them based on what feeding schedule they are on at the time, and take them for walks daily. Also I’ll make sure they get enough love and affection while their owners are gone.

About: I've always been a dog lover. We have had experience watching our family and friends dogs for periods of time, prior to joining Rover. We grew up with dogs and have had pets all of our lives. I currently own a miniature dachshund named Mushu. I take watching your dog seriously. It’s important that they are cared for, loved, safe, and most importantly that they have fun. Because they are on vacation too! They'll have free rein of my apartment with plenty of room to play and places to curl up and nap. I don't have any kids and only board one dog at a time, so your pup's "vacation" can be as stress-free as possible! I live near lots of walking paths and enjoy going on long walks myself, so if your dog can walk (or even run) for 2-4 miles at a time, then we can certainly do that! If not, we can stay closer to home for some short walks or hanging out in several large grassy areas close by. I love taking lots of pictures of my furry sleepovers, and will be happy to send you updates and pics as often as you like while you are away! We look forward to having the opportunity to watch your furry family member.

Our dogs are English Bulldog Champions and one is intact, but Peggy manages his care profesionally--even on Thanksgiving day. As a vet technician she was also able to administer medication to our older dog. She lives on a farm so there is a lot of area for dogs to run off leash. They don't sleep in a kennel building, they sleep in her house! She is a lovely person with a good heart.”
