About: I absolutely adore animals. I love dogs and cats equally, I also have experience owning/caring for rodents and fish. I worked at a vet for a while so I have experience with animal care along with medicine distribution. I’m open to any hours of the day!l I’m very flexible when it comes to same day visits. About: I've always been a dog lover. We have had experience watching our family and friends dogs for periods of time, prior to joining Rover. We grew up with dogs and have had pets all of our lives. I currently own a miniature dachshund named Mushu. I take watching your dog seriously. It’s important that they are cared for, loved, safe, and most importantly that they have fun. Because they are on vacation too! They'll have free rein of my apartment with plenty of room to play and places to curl up and nap. I don't have any kids and only board one dog at a time, so your pup's "vacation" can be as stress-free as possible! I live near lots of walking paths and enjoy going on long walks myself, so if your dog can walk (or even run) for 2-4 miles at a time, then we can certainly do that! If not, we can stay closer to home for some short walks or hanging out in several large grassy areas close by. I love taking lots of pictures of my furry sleepovers, and will be happy to send you updates and pics as often as you like while you are away! We look forward to having the opportunity to watch your furry family member.

“Terry was great! We were visiting Florida from out of town and needed a sitter for 8+ hours with fairly short notice. Our sweet pup isn't always a fan of strangers - especially when we're leaving him with them. Terry was able to win him over - and even sent me a video of her giving him a belly rub! Not only was she willing to stay with him the entire time, but she brought him two toys - one being a stuffed alligator which has become his favorite since we've returned home! “Our dogs had a great time with Marcela. She was extremely accommodating in regards to scheduling, pick up and drop off times. She was even able to drop them off at our door, which was extremely helpful! We received constant updates and pictures of our dogs throughout their stay. When their stay was over, we were able to chat with her and we realized she really knew our dogs' personalities. They also seem really attached to her and even a little sad to see her go. Ours dogs can be a lot to handle ( 60 lbs, high energy shepherd mixes) for someone that doesn't have much experience or patience, but she seemed to do it with such ease! We should also mention that she has children that are extremely well adjusted to animals, it was evident that they knew to be kind to animals and pet dogs gently, we were very impressed! About: Im in my 50's but Ive always loved animals since i was very young.. i was in 4-H as a teenager & thats when I started petsitting. When I was 28 i started my petsitting/housesitting business. I had that business for 20 years in Ohio. We moved here in 2019. I have continued my petsitting here & love what I do! My visits are about 30 minutes. I do feeding, watering, litter boxes, medications, insulin is okay also. I will bring in the mail and newspaper and water plants & fill birdfeeders. I enjoy walking dogs as well as playing with them in their yard. I am comfortable with many other pets including cats, Birds, fish ()I have a 40 gallon aquarium, & a 10 gallon) hamsters, gerbils (& other rodents) guinea pigs, ferrets, rabbits, iguanas and other lizards. Thank you so much! I also have experience with horses, ducks, goats & a few cows lol! Petsitting is my career so thats my priority. Visits are tailored to your pets needs. I like to schedule as far in advance as possible so I work my days off around what I have in the book. I tailor my visits according to your pet's needs. I can do as many visits per day as you would like. I can also stay longer if you need. When I do "housesitting " , its a bedtime visit, sleepover & morning visit before I head out for other clients. I will do as many drop-in visits as you would like during the day before I return for the overnight (housesit).
