She was kind enough to come to our home twice for a meet and great to make sure he would get along with her. We have 3 dogs in all and sure enough in no time he became great friends with her. Jessica stayed in communication with us on our 7 day trip and made us feel at ease and able to enjoy our vacation. We came home to 3 happy dogs who now have a new best friend. Our home was in perfect order and clean when we arrived home. She even washed the sheets on our bed and replace with fresh sheets. She did not hesitate to text if she had any questions. Large breeds, high-energy dogs, puppies learning structure, and gentle seniors all receive care tailored to their specific needs. We understand that young dogs need consistency and patience, while senior dogs often need a slower pace and extra attentiveness. What truly sets us apart is that we intentionally keep things small and personal. We board a maximum of two dogs at a time (one family at a time), ensuring individualized attention, proper supervision, and a calm environment - never overcrowded, rushed, or chaotic. Cleanliness and safety are top priorities in our home. After each stay, we fully sanitize spaces, wash bedding, disinfect crates and play areas, and properly dispose of waste to maintain a clean, healthy environment for every dog. We also believe communication matters. Regular updates, photos, and check-ins are sent so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, cared for, and genuinely loved while you’re away. We own a small business offering guided boat tours, fishing trips, and jet ski rentals, which gives us a highly flexible schedule. Because we control our calendar, we only accept pet care bookings when we are fully available to dedicate our time and attention to your dog. Since we both work from home, your pup will not be left alone for extended periods. Pet care naturally fits into our daily routine, with built-in time for morning and evening walks, play sessions, feeding schedules, and plenty of supervision throughout the day. Our days are structured around consistency and companionship. Whether your dog thrives on activity and engagement or prefers a quieter, relaxed environment, we’re able to provide steady attention, a calm atmosphere, and dependable care from start to finish. We pay close attention to each dog’s personality and energy level, adjusting care to ensure they feel secure and comfortable throughout their stay. Crates are never required unless your dog prefers the familiarity of one. We also have a dedicated spare bedroom where one of us can sleep with your dog, so they don’t have to sleep alone or feel isolated. About: Im in my 50's but Ive always loved animals since i was very young.. i was in 4-H as a teenager & thats when I started petsitting. When I was 28 i started my petsitting/housesitting business. I had that business for 20 years in Ohio. We moved here in 2019. I have continued my petsitting here & love what I do! My visits are about 30 minutes. I do feeding, watering, litter boxes, medications, insulin is okay also. I will bring in the mail and newspaper and water plants & fill birdfeeders. I enjoy walking dogs as well as playing with them in their yard. I am comfortable with many other pets including cats, Birds, fish ()I have a 40 gallon aquarium, & a 10 gallon) hamsters, gerbils (& other rodents) guinea pigs, ferrets, rabbits, iguanas and other lizards. Thank you so much! I also have experience with horses, ducks, goats & a few cows lol! Petsitting is my career so thats my priority. Visits are tailored to your pets needs. I like to schedule as far in advance as possible so I work my days off around what I have in the book. I tailor my visits according to your pet's needs. I can do as many visits per day as you would like. I can also stay longer if you need. When I do "housesitting " , its a bedtime visit, sleepover & morning visit before I head out for other clients. I will do as many drop-in visits as you would like during the day before I return for the overnight (housesit).
