About: What makes me stand out from other sitters is my ability to adapt to different pets and their routines while providing personalized care. Whether it’s puppy potty breaks, daily walks, drop-in visits, playtime, or companionship for senior pets, I always try to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. As a former college athlete, I’m dependable, active, and used to maintaining routines, which helps me provide consistent care and attention for every pet I work with. Pet care is a significant part of my daily and weekly routine, especially since I have a beloved pet of my own whom I cherish deeply. I schedule regular feeding times, walks, and play sessions not only for my furry friend but also for the pets under my care. Cleaning up after them and ensuring they have a cozy environment are also top priorities. Bonding time is essential too; whether it's cuddling on the couch or teaching new tricks, I make sure to dedicate quality time each day. Additionally, staying updated on any specific needs or medications they may require is crucial. Overall, pet care is seamlessly integrated into my life, and I relish every moment spent with these adorable companions. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I stick closely to their normal routines, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medications if needed, and playtime. I also make sure the environment stays clean, calm, and pet-friendly so owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands.
“Isis was great and very friendly! I highly recommend her take care of your pups! The dogs love her and look forward to seeing her. She also looked after the plants!”

“Schae is amazing! She handled our two dogs amazingly and without any complaints. Very polite and the dogs absolutely adore her. Highly recommend for any of your needs!”

About: I'm a Duke graduate and an incoming medical student, conducting clinical research at MUSC currently. I've taken care of my childhood shih tzu, Caleb, for 15 years. Additionally, I've cared for large and small dogs in my extended family. I trained my puppy when I first got him, and handled his senior care in his later years of life. I've changed doggy diapers, given medications, been present for all kinds of vet appointments, and played with a bunch of the cutest dogs. I look forward to caring for your pet, as well as making a new furry friend along the way! I work full-time in clinical research, but work from home most days. The days that I work from home vary on a week by week basis. No matter my work schedule, I'm available in the evenings after 6pm. I'm also available on weekends all day. I have an unfenced backyard and a large neighborhood to go on walks in. I have doggy bowls, toys, a crate, and extra leashes. There are no other dogs living in the house.
“Jessica was quick to respond and flexible with our mobile schedule. We appreciated her patience with our old man, Hobo, as he can be shy with new people and he has slowed down considerably. We would definitely contact her again if we are in the area.”

“I have a home surveillance camera but I never have to worry and watch it, because I KNOW Anais is going to show up and be there for my dog. My dog is my pride and joy, so to see how happy he gets when she comes over melts my heart. I try to not watch the camera but if I accidentally do, I witness the most precious moments. Anais is the person who bakes cookies and leaves them for you to eat when you get home from work. Yes, she did that!!! 🤍🙌🏼 She also drew a cartoon of her and my dog on a handwritten letter for Christmas. She’s just an amazing person and im so thankful for her.”

About: I have been taking care of a variety of dogs since I was 4 or so. I grew up with dogs (cats and birds included) so I learned at a young age how to feed, bathe and walk dogs. I started off with 2 Yorkshire Terriers and worked my way up to Bandogs. I do work full time but my job hours are weird and I’d only be unavailable for 6 hrs in a day. Other than that I’m free any and everyday. I live in a two story home with a fenced in backyard. My furbabies are very friendly and love having new furry friends to play with coming over. If your baby enjoys the sprinkler even better, everyone here loves when the sprinkler comes on. It’s the favorite household activity!!
“Jennifer has cared for our little pit Fiona and our African Grey parrot, Wanda, on numerous occasions, overnight and daily walks. Her care is thorough and professional. At her own initiative she set up a beginners agility set I had purchased for Fiona. By the time we had returned from our trip, Jennifer had trained Fiona to go through "the tunnel," and zig zag her way through ""the sticks." Additionally, Jennifer has done leash work with Fiona, minimizing her pulling. When I book walks for Fiona , she also stops by Wanda's cage to say hello and give her fresh water. Thank you for your special care of our girls!”
“Lina was amazing with our baby! She walked him and made sure he was well taken care of! Sent lots of pictures and videos every single day. I will be recommending her to other people :)”

“Stephanie is kind, prompt and genuinely likes animals. She has been wonderful with my elderly rather stubborn rat terrier. I am so grateful to have found her on Rover.”

“I have had a handful of dog walkers over the years and Missy is by far my favorite. She is extremely detailed in her updates plus the pictures she takes are great. She is communicative and I can tell my pup has a great time with her and her daughters. I highly recommend Missy!”

About: I’ve always been the person friends and family trust with their pets because I genuinely love animals and understand that every dog has a different personality and comfort level. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, energy levels, and temperaments, including my own Golden Retriever, Autumn. What sets me apart is my calm, dependable personality and healthcare background as an ICU nurse, which has made me very attentive, patient, and detail-oriented in high-pressure situations. I’m comfortable following detailed routines, administering medications if needed, and paying close attention to safety and behavior changes. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or just a calm companion while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for like family. I work full time as a Rapid Response RN with an ICU background, so reliability, communication, and attention to detail are already a huge part of my daily routine. I typically work Monday–Wednesday from 7am–7:30pm, which leaves me available Thursday through Sunday for walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, and more flexible scheduling. Even during my work week, caring for animals is already part of my everyday life with my own dog and cat at home. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that’s going on long walks, keeping pets company, or making sure they stay comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. Because of my healthcare background, I’m very organized, dependable, and comfortable following routines and special care instructions. Safety and trust are the biggest priorities for me when caring for someone’s pet. I know how important it is to feel confident that your animals are safe, comfortable, and being treated like family while you’re away. In a client’s home, I make it a priority to keep pets on their normal routine as much as possible — including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m respectful of both your home and your pet’s comfort level, especially with animals who may be anxious or shy when their owners are gone. In my own home, pets are treated like part of the family with plenty of attention, supervision, and a calm environment. I pay close attention during walks, outdoor time, feeding, and introductions to ensure pets remain safe and stress-free. My background as a Rapid Response/ICU nurse has also made me very observant, dependable, and calm under pressure, which helps me notice changes in behavior, maintain safe environments, and communicate clearly with pet owners throughout their stay or visit.
About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 12 years old. My mother always brought home foster dogs of all kinds that provided myself with lots of experience. I worked at an animal hospital in boarding for 3 years and fell in love! I have such a strong passion for dogs that I would love to share with your pup! I have worked with aggressive dogs, dog-aggressive dogs, anxious dogs, senior dogs, you name it! I am a big fan of long walks, as well as a nice jog if your dog is more on the high energy side. I provide a safe, welcoming environment for dogs of all kinds. I am an early-riser, so I make it a priority of mine to relax with my morning coffee and provide walks or play-time before work. After work, I love to wind down with an evening walk and cuddle sessions with the dogs. I have a fenced-in yard and a large home for your pet to make itself at home! I have a large crate already in-home to easily crate your dog if needed.
