“Super helpful and responsive. I’m almost always on a last minute basis with my schedule and she has come through tremendously. I do enjoy speaking with her and she keeps me up to date. I highly recommend!”

About: I have taken care of animals since i was a child! I personally had 4+ dogs/cats at a time growing up since I was 5 years old and even now! As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home the majority of the day and night, which allows me to give consistent attention and supervision. I only step out briefly for school drop-off/pick-up or short errands, typically no more than a few hours total. Your dog will not be left alone for long stretches and will be treated like part of our daily routine, with regular potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of interaction throughout the day. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We live on 2 fully fenced acres, providing plenty of secure space to run and explore while always supervised. When indoors, pets are part of our family environment — relaxing, playing, or cuddling in a calm and clean home. I carefully follow each dog’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions to ensure they feel safe and at ease. My goal is to create a structured but loving environment where your pup feels right at home.
“Chelsea is a wonderful pet sitter/dog walker. She is reliable, consistently communicative, and great with our dogs and cats. Unfortunately, she was taking care of our dogs during a very rainy week, but she did a great job drying them off and making sure they got out there (even if they didn’t want to go out!). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to others!”

“Jennifer's care and management of our girls, Fiona the pittie, and Fiona, the African Grey, is superb. She has extensive and practical experience in the care of many species, and applies her knowledge to our girls. She has taken initiative to help Fiona (and me) to work on Fiona leash manners, and is cultivating a relationship with Wanda. Jennifer is prompt and takes your input seriously. I highly recommend her.”
About: Hi! I’m Tori and I have been taking care of dogs and cats since grade school. I worked at a kennel (PetSuites) for a couple of years in high school as well as pet sit for family, friends, and neighbors. I provide attentive, in-home care so your fur baby(babies) feel comfortable and happy in their own home while their parents are away. I love sending photos, videos, and text updates so you can feel at ease and know your pets are comfortable while you’re away. I have experience with all sizes of pets as well as any medication administration. I have had to give neighbors dogs medications as well as our own fur baby. Our fur baby has an underlying heart condition that requires him to take medications every day for the rest of his life. My husband and I make sure he stays up to date on all vet visits to make sure he stays as healthy as possible to live a long happy life. For in-home house sitting, I take pride in being respectful of your home and keeping things tidy, safe, and secure. I’m happy to follow your usual pet’s routine to make sure they’re comfortable. I provide daily walks, playtime, and making sure they stick to any feeding and/or medication schedules they may have . I’d love to meet you and your fur babies ! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions ! I am currently in between nursing jobs at the moment and I would love to help take care of your pets anytime of the day ! We have a fenced in yard as well as a doggy door so our fur baby can go in and out as he pleases. I do not currently offer pet sitting in our own home due to our dog being weary of other animals (he loves people though ) however, I am available for regular drop ins , walks, or overnight stays at your home.

“Dawn was so great! Over the Christmas holiday I had surgery and my boyfriend got really sick. Poor Ranger was desperate to get out and Dawn came the same day we made the request! I will definitely book again. Thanks, Dawn! ☺️”

About: I stand out as a sitter because I genuinely love animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m patient, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s personality and needs. I have experience caring for my own dog, so I understand the importance of exercise, routine, affection, and safety. Whether your pet needs a fun walk, playtime, cuddles, or calm companionship, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m based in the Goose Creek area and work in dog grooming, so I get to spend my days around dogs and have experience with all different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I’m off work Tuesdays and Sundays, and my schedule on other days can vary. I usually work 7–8 AM until anywhere from 12–5 PM, so I’m often available for morning visits before work. If you’re in the Mount Pleasant area, I can also do drop-ins throughout the day when my schedule allows. I’m happy to help with walks, drop-ins, house sitting, or whatever works best for you and your pets! I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets are treated like family. I always follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions. I pay close attention during walks and playtime to keep them safe and comfortable. In your home, I’m respectful, clean, and make sure your pet feels secure while you’re away.
About: From my first pet bunny Nibbles at the age of seven, to now - a 26yo boy mom with my 12yo orange cat Fenway, 3yo Pitbull Xylo, and my two horses Karl and Scraps - caring for animals has always been my deepest passion. I have cared for all types of animals, large and small, and pride myself of providing the highest level of care and love to each one. I have my BS in Animal Science from UConn, have been a farm sitter for several families, cared for my own families animals, and have been an animal owner myself for nearly all my life. I have experience with a wide range of dog breeds - from Belgian Malinois to Chihuahuas to Swiss Mountain Dogs. I have cared for animals in all stages of life - from puppies to seniors, foals to stallions, kittens to wise older cats. I treat every animal I work with as if it was my own. I am currently a stay-at-home mom for my 18mo son while my husband is attending Navy basic training. I am new to the area and eager to explore, and am also consistently active with my own pup - we walk regularly, jog and play frisbee. Being able to provide other dogs with the same care fits perfectly into my active schedule. I am comfortable with crates, invisible fences, walking on slow or busy roads with dogs who walk beautifully on a leash, or those who don’t. I am able to provide the exact type of care and play that the owner needs for each individual animal.
About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was young. I grew up with huskies until I moved out of my parents house. Now I have three dogs of my own. I would love to care for your fur babies! I work full time but am looking for a side job taking care of pets on my days off from work. I am currently available on Sundays and Wednesdays for drop in visits or dog walking! My availability may change week to week based on work schedule. I am open to learning what your pet needs! I can feed, walk, play, provide treats, etc. Please let me know If they have any allergies or dietary concerns, or if they have any problems with new people coming into the home!
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud rescue dog owner! New to Rover and would love to help you with your pup! 2 years ago I adopted my pup when he was 10 weeks old and have loved every minute of raising my goofball sidekick. It’s Henry’s World and I have the honor of being a part of it!! Through training, daily exercise and lots of patience, I’ve gained firsthand experience with puppy energy, the importance of routine and building trust with dogs! I also cared for a dog for 7 months while her owner was deployed overseas, so I understand the importance of consistency, communication and dependable care when someone is trusting you with their pet. I’m attentive, patient, and happy to match each dog’s personality and needs - whether that means long walks, playtime, cuddles or just making them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. At the end of the day, it’s their world and we are just lucky enough to be a part of it!!! No 2 dogs are exactly alike and I love getting to know what makes each unique! I’m more than happy to adapt to your dogs specific needs, routines, energy level and personality to make sure they get the best care possible! I currently work from home so can help out in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. I am very flexible with my schedule and can help at almost anytime! I am more than happy to come to your home where your dog is most comfortable to help care for them! I can walk them around the neighborhood or let them out in the yard to play! Whatever works best for you and your pet! My dog is a very anxious dog, so I am well versed in building and earning dogs trust!
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. My old neighbor used to drop his sweet poodle, Mitzy, off with me and I'd make sure she was taken care of. I'd walk her, feed her, play with her, and love on her. That's where my love began. I currently work full time but I am available to walk, watch, and care for pups after 5 and on most weekends! I can also make quick drop-ins during my lunch. I care for pets in my home/the client's homes by being attentive to them. I always keep an eye out in the home for any possible mischief they could get into and when I take the pups out, I watch out very closely for any potential dangers.
About: Hi! My name is Leah and I live with my Husband, Xavier and our dog Tucker. Xavier and I love annimals and have done lots of pet care over the years so we decided to get on Rover to help save for our wedding and have enjoyed it so much we don’t want to quit. We’ll spend quality time with your pets and love them them like their our own! We always start our day with a walk around the neighborhood or on the walking trail across the street where we get to see lots of local wildlife. If we are working, we’re rarely both gone at the same time and can be mostly flexible for drop in additional potty breaks, plus another walk in the evening. Of course if we’re off that day, we love to dedicate more time to play, walks and snuggles. Since we’re dog owners living in a townhome, daily walks are essential. However we also have a fenced in patio/yard space for urgent/quick potty breaks.

Erica has been absolutely amazing with our dogs. She’s been reliable, easy to communicate with, and just genuinely great to work with. You can tell she really cares and isn’t just going through the motions. Our dogs took to her right away and always came back from their walks happy and settled. The updates and photos she sends are such a nice touch and really give peace of mind. It’s clear she treats them with real attention and kindness. We fully trust Erica and feel lucky we found her. We’ll definitely keep booking with her and would recommend her to anyone who wants their pets in good hands.

I can not stress enough how amazing Brandy is. She is my go to sitter and I couldn’t imagine not having her! She has cared for my dogs a bunch of times now and this one took the cake. My boys have had some health issues lately and I was terrified to leave them…but Brandy took care of them as if they were her own. Made sure they got there meds and kept them comfy. She is a god send!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
