“Super helpful and responsive. I’m almost always on a last minute basis with my schedule and she has come through tremendously. I do enjoy speaking with her and she keeps me up to date. I highly recommend!”

About: I have taken care of animals since i was a child! I personally had 4+ dogs/cats at a time growing up since I was 5 years old and even now! As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home the majority of the day and night, which allows me to give consistent attention and supervision. I only step out briefly for school drop-off/pick-up or short errands, typically no more than a few hours total. Your dog will not be left alone for long stretches and will be treated like part of our daily routine, with regular potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of interaction throughout the day. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We live on 2 fully fenced acres, providing plenty of secure space to run and explore while always supervised. When indoors, pets are part of our family environment — relaxing, playing, or cuddling in a calm and clean home. I carefully follow each dog’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions to ensure they feel safe and at ease. My goal is to create a structured but loving environment where your pup feels right at home.

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life! I’ve had cats and dogs in my home since a very early age. I started pet sitting for neighbors and friends, and i’ve loved watching and playing with other dogs ever since! I currently do pet sitting full time, so my schedule is very flexible! I’m normally there with the pets most of the day that way they are fully comfortable, and are still following their schedule! I make sure to follow all the instructions, so the pet isn’t off of its schedule. I really try to spend the first few days getting close with the pets, that way they feel totally comfortable with me!
“Wendy has done a great job with the daily walks for me greyhound. He needs a ton of exercise and he always looks forward to his afternoons with Wendy. He also recently has an injury to his back leg and she has been very accommodating ensuring he doesn’t aggregate the injury.”

“Dawn was so great! Over the Christmas holiday I had surgery and my boyfriend got really sick. Poor Ranger was desperate to get out and Dawn came the same day we made the request! I will definitely book again. Thanks, Dawn! ☺️”

“Chelsea is a wonderful pet sitter/dog walker. She is reliable, consistently communicative, and great with our dogs and cats. Unfortunately, she was taking care of our dogs during a very rainy week, but she did a great job drying them off and making sure they got out there (even if they didn’t want to go out!). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to others!”

“Wonderful sitter! Would highly recommend. She was personable, responsive, and took great care of my babies. She also took care of my plants on short notice. Will definitely rebook her again and would recommend for all of your dog sitting needs.”

About: My family has had cats, dogs, rabbits, and horses for almost my entire life. I have grown up around pets and have tremendous love for all of them. I have taken my Australian Shepherd to puppy school and learned from a professional how to handle him, and we have owned various breeds of dogs and cats. My mom and I captured, neutered, and re-homed feral cats that had wandered into our old property. Now, I own one of those (not-so-feral-anymore) cats, Jade, and a foster fail, Gia, along with my dog Ozzie. I have been riding and showing horses since I was 9 years old and have a lot of experience in taking care of large animals. I was a D1 equestrian athlete at UGA, and I'm now a veterinary assistant for Banfield! I have some extra days off and I would love to spend that time getting to meet and take care of your furbabies! I am a full-time veterinary assistant at Banfield, so my schedule is very irregular. I get my schedule a month in advance, but it will not always be the same. I will make sure that my availability is reflected in Rover as far out as possible so that I can take care of you and your pet! My dog and cats roam my apartment freely throughout the day, and they all sleep with me on the bed at night. We play with my Australian Shepherds 4-5 times a day, with his favorite game, frisbee! In a clients home, I am open to caring for their pet anyway they would like, whether they need them to be in a crate, go for a walk, or to play ball!
About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals has been part of my life every day, not just a job. Growing up with pets taught me how to understand their needs, routines, and personalities. I treat every pet like my own, providing loving, attentive care. i’m currently doing school remotely so i am available any time needed. Afternoon time is ideally best, i can do mornings if you let me know in advance. I provide attentive, in-home pet care tailored to each animal’s routine, including feeding, fresh water, litter or waste cleanup, playtime, exercise, medication if needed, and regular updates to ensure comfort, safety, and peace of mind
“Jennifer has cared for our little pit Fiona and our African Grey parrot, Wanda, on numerous occasions, overnight and daily walks. Her care is thorough and professional. At her own initiative she set up a beginners agility set I had purchased for Fiona. By the time we had returned from our trip, Jennifer had trained Fiona to go through "the tunnel," and zig zag her way through ""the sticks." Additionally, Jennifer has done leash work with Fiona, minimizing her pulling. When I book walks for Fiona , she also stops by Wanda's cage to say hello and give her fresh water. Thank you for your special care of our girls!”
About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was young. I grew up with huskies until I moved out of my parents house. Now I have three dogs of my own. I would love to care for your fur babies! I work full time but am looking for a side job taking care of pets on my days off from work. I am currently available on Sundays and Wednesdays for drop in visits or dog walking! My availability may change week to week based on work schedule. I am open to learning what your pet needs! I can feed, walk, play, provide treats, etc. Please let me know If they have any allergies or dietary concerns, or if they have any problems with new people coming into the home!

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve cared for rabbits, birds, and reptiles, including my bearded dragon, who I’ve owned and cared for for over 10 years. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and check in on their pets while they’re away. I understand that every pet has their own routine and needs, and I treat every animal with the same care, patience, and attention I give my own. I have also raised 3 children over the last 22 years. I’m currently available with a flexible schedule and can provide morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend care depending on your needs. Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I enjoy spending quality time with pets, whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, medication administration, or simply keeping them company while you’re away. I’ll do my best to maintain your pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud rescue dog owner! New to Rover and would love to help you with your pup! 2 years ago I adopted my pup when he was 10 weeks old and have loved every minute of raising my goofball sidekick. It’s Henry’s World and I have the honor of being a part of it!! Through training, daily exercise and lots of patience, I’ve gained firsthand experience with puppy energy, the importance of routine and building trust with dogs! I also cared for a dog for 7 months while her owner was deployed overseas, so I understand the importance of consistency, communication and dependable care when someone is trusting you with their pet. I’m attentive, patient, and happy to match each dog’s personality and needs - whether that means long walks, playtime, cuddles or just making them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. At the end of the day, it’s their world and we are just lucky enough to be a part of it!!! No 2 dogs are exactly alike and I love getting to know what makes each unique! I’m more than happy to adapt to your dogs specific needs, routines, energy level and personality to make sure they get the best care possible! I currently work from home so can help out in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. I am very flexible with my schedule and can help at almost anytime! I am more than happy to come to your home where your dog is most comfortable to help care for them! I can walk them around the neighborhood or let them out in the yard to play! Whatever works best for you and your pet! My dog is a very anxious dog, so I am well versed in building and earning dogs trust!
About: We are Katie + Justin and we’ve been pet sitting for around 10 years now. We have two very friendly dogs who love getting new playmates. Daycare services include plenty of outside time, toilet breaks at least once an hour, basic command training and time in the ball pit! When we look after your pets, we treat them as if they were ours which means a ton of attention and love. We’ll send pictures and as many updates as you’d like. They are allowed on the furniture, on the beds and have a big yard to run around in. We’d love to know all about your pet before you drop them off - what they like to do, favourite toys, food and medications etc. My dogs loves every other dog no matter the size, but I do ask that your pet is also friendly if they're coming to play! We work from home so we’re around all the time to look after your pets and they won’t be left unattended unless it’s been previously discussed. Leashed walks are not included during daycare due to the amount of exercise they get running around outside. We do offer boarding for crate trained pups who have played in daycare before but boarding isn’t available for first time guests. We’re currently working from home part time around daycare hours, so my attention is solely on the dogs in our care. If you bring your pup for daycare on a weekend, we may need to run some errands but will not leave your dogs without discussing this with you. We have a large fenced in yard so all dogs are safe and secure. They are watched at all times and supervised when playing with each other, when playing with toys or when eating. We treat your dog as if they were our own which means plenty of love!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
