About: Over the course of my life I’ve owned dogs, cats, rabbits, and multiple different types of reptiles. Currently my family has two dogs, a cat, and a bearded dragon that I care for. I have worked at a vet clinic, and gained a lot of experience with animals. I am currently playing college soccer and studying biology with a concentration in pre-vet. I’m home from college for the summer so I have a lot of extra free time that I’m hoping to fill. Plus my job right now is very flexible. The last time I pet sat at someone’s house, the dogs had a fenced in yard with a doggy door, so I didn’t have to do much other than feed them, make sure everything was right in the house, and give them attention. With my own dogs I have experience giving them meds, walking them, feeding them, playing with them, and training them to do tricks.
“Wonderful sitter! Would highly recommend. She was personable, responsive, and took great care of my babies. She also took care of my plants on short notice. Will definitely rebook her again and would recommend for all of your dog sitting needs.”

About: I have had dogs and many different animals my whole life. I have also worked as a pet technician in a dog daycare for a while so I have experience with small medium and large dogs. I have a lot of open availability and I make time for pets. I have a big heart for animals and this is what I love to do! I am currently not working, I am taking college classes online so I have a flexible schedule. I am very dependable and will make sure your dog has a good time during the whole visit. I am very overly cautious when it comes to watching dogs mainly because I have 2 of my own and make sure they don't eat anything they aren't supposed. I know how crazy some dogs can be and they need to be watched at all times. I also do potty breaks every 2 hours to prevent any accidents and I make sure the dogs don't get too hot on walks.
“Chey was an absolute godsend to my family during a last minute need for dog walking services! I contacted her about 3 days before having to go out of town and she responded promptly and was able to arrange a meet and greet the very next day. She was insanely attentive to my little pup, Gertie, for 2 weeks while I was out of town and her daily updates and pics of Gertie were personable and very much appreciated! Chey is reliable, communicative and overall an awesome resource for all of us dog owners who are over protective of our 4 legged babies. Thank you Chey!!! 💕💕”

About: With years of professional dog walking and sitting experience, I’ve cared for all manner of canines. I can handle puppies as well as senior citizens and love spending time with them giving love and getting exercise. I work from home with a flexible schedule so am able to leave periodically throughout the day to care for pets. Please be aware prior to booking that my daughter (10 months old as of April 2025) comes with me on my walks and drop ins. She rides in a backpack carrier and does not come out of it, but only request a booking with me if you and your pet and comfortable with that. I have been entrusted with clients’ homes for years and am confident and able to abide by your requests and needs. I act with respect when allowed access to a client’s home and take care to honor their wishes regarding their animals and household.
About: I've owned dogs, cats and small animals throughout my life. I have experience with puppies, kittens, senior animals, rodents and reptiles. I have also cared for many animals with special needs! I don't currently work so I am available throughout the day and to stay overnight! I do not currently work and am one of the main caretakers for my 4 dogs, 3 cats and 2 reptiles. I am used to feeding, checking water, walking and playing on a daily basis. Your house, your rules. “Dawn was great with our daisy this past weekend we were able to go on vacation without any worries we got pictures each time dawn visted , 5 stars and we will be using her again for sure !”

About: My grandmother used to feed a cat colony and I think that’s what sparked my love for animals. Growing up in Corey Woods, some of my furry neighbors included Shorty & Sammy, and Pepper. I'm a certified Vet Support Assistant and I've been caring for animals for five years, and that includes eight dogs, and five cats (three whom I own). I take care of every animal like they were my own, and strive to ensure 100% satisfaction- from human and animals alike. Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you soon! I work full time as a security guard, but I’m off Sunday-Monday, and free after 4pm during the week, so my evenings and weekends are devoted to your companion. If given a schedule, I’ll stick to it! As a security guard and pet parent, I’ll make sure your pet/animal companion is safe and happy.
“Chelsea is a wonderful pet sitter/dog walker. She is reliable, consistently communicative, and great with our dogs and cats. Unfortunately, she was taking care of our dogs during a very rainy week, but she did a great job drying them off and making sure they got out there (even if they didn’t want to go out!). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to others!”

About: I’ve always grown up with atleast two animals, so I have a huge soft spot for them! I know the ups and downs of dogs and cats! I usually work Mondays through Fridays at my job. I have time on weekends and mornings and nights through the week to watch and takeout dogs and cats! With caring for pets in my home I would keep them downstairs mainly in the kitchen and living room area, I have a large backyard for dogs to use and space to take for walks! With clients home I would ask what their preferred methods are!
“Dela had a great time with Jennifer. She came back from their walk with a big smile on her face and was ready for a nap! Dela can be quite stubborn, but Jennifer was able to keep her attention and have a productive walk! I definitely recommend Jennifer!”

About: I have taken care of animals since i was a child! I personally had 4+ dogs/cats at a time growing up since I was 5 years old and even now! As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home the majority of the day and night, which allows me to give consistent attention and supervision. I only step out briefly for school drop-off/pick-up or short errands, typically no more than a few hours total. Your dog will not be left alone for long stretches and will be treated like part of our daily routine, with regular potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of interaction throughout the day. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We live on 2 fully fenced acres, providing plenty of secure space to run and explore while always supervised. When indoors, pets are part of our family environment — relaxing, playing, or cuddling in a calm and clean home. I carefully follow each dog’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions to ensure they feel safe and at ease. My goal is to create a structured but loving environment where your pup feels right at home.

“Yes! Dianne rates 5 stars, and she is not our first dog walker. Over the years, we have had several excellent individuals take an interest in assisting us with the care of our dogs. Dianne not only has a background in working with canines, but she has a wonderful heart. We immediately sensed it and so did our AK Malamute!”

“Robin has been so wonderful with my furry kid. She has treated her like one of her own. Robin is reliable, dependable, and responsible. Most of all Robin is a nice, kind, caring, loving person. I always felt comfortable and at ease knowing Robin would be there taking care of my girl.”
About: Hi! I'm a college student from Charleston with a lifelong passion for caring for animals. I currently live on a farm, so I'm comfortable caring for all kinds of animals, including small and large dogs, cats, horses, goats, cows, and more. I've been around dogs and cats my entire life, growing up with Pit Bulls, and I now have my own Cane Corso named Marley, as well as 3 cats, Mochi, Casper, and Stormy. Because of that, I'm confident handling dogs and cats of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I've been pet sitting and babysitting since I was 14 years old. Whether it's family, friends, or neighbors, people have trusted me for years to feed, walk, play with, and most importantly, keep their pets safe and loved while they're away. I understand that every pet has its own personality and routine, and I always take the time to make them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or cuddles, I'll treat them like one of my own. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I strive to provide dependable, attentive care and regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My schedule is very flexible, being that I am a college student. I get out of school at 11 am and go in at 8 am, which means the rest of my day, or the early mornings, can be dedicated to your furry friend. When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I'll follow your instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any special routines your pet is used to. I make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you're away. I'll also make sure they always have fresh water, clean up after them, and keep your home tidy and secure. I know how important it is to trust someone with both your pet and your home, so I'll treat each with the same care and respect I would my own. I'll also provide regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cotton Hill
Alix did a great job with my pups! They really enjoyed their walk and were able to get some energy out while I’m gone at work for long hours. She even offered to feed them and my cats while I wasn’t home to do so. She sent me pictures of their walk afterward and they looked like they had the best time! Overall fantastic job!! Would definitely recommend and rebook!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
