“Brooke house/dog sat for us for a 2 week vacation to Europe and I was so nervous to leave my baby for so long but Brooke made it so easy! She sent multiple updates with pictures EVERYday and I could tell she really enjoyed her time with Rosie. She even brought over some enrichment toys for her and she really enjoyed those. I travel for work and am sad that I can’t take Brooke with us everywhere we go! She was great and definitely recommend her!”

“Sky was very honest and communicative about my dogs being stressed due to unexpected construction in the townhouse next to mine. She hang in there with the dogs during a stressful day. My house was very tidy when I returned which I also appreciated.”

“Robert was super accommodating for a short-notice weekend with my pups & cat. He was super communicative and took great care of them all! Would highly recommend Robert!”

“Meghan did a fantastic job watching Rosie! She was very professional and answered any questions I had. She provided regular updates with photos which was such a nice touch! Thank you, Meghan!”

“Zach was very good at building a strong bond with my dog. He sent photos and took him on walks even when he was resistant (not a fan of the cold). He also took care of our bunny and cat. He was able to effectively handle more then one pet at a time and made sure all got equal time and attention.”

“Tatiana is great! She sent really nice updates and took our dog on nice long walks. He has some (well-managed) resource guarding and reactivity, which she handled without any issues. We were glad to have her caring for him while we were gone.”

“McKenna did an outstanding job with Archie! She was very communicative, shared photos, suggested some fun things to do with him, etc. Wouldn't hesitate to book her again!!”

“Taj was able to step in last minute and stay with my cat! She went above and beyond and was able to help monitor him on some new medicine. I felt so safe leaving my pets with Taj and loved recieving daily updates and pictures! I will definitely reach out to her next time I head out of town.”

“Biiftuu was an excellent dog sitter. She clearly took good care of my little Aussie poo. She sent good pictures and left the house in excellent shape. I would hire her again.”

“Lilah is now our go to Rover for home stays when we are out of town! She checks in when she arrives, sends pictures daily and takes our dog for a walk. We will gladly have her stay again!”

About: The Best Part of Both Our Days After 20+ years in the corporate design leadership world, I am soft retiring and putting my reliability, commitment and energy into helping others and bringing happiness to their pets. With 10 years of dog walking and pet sitting experience, I don’t just show up. I show up for your dog, on their terms. Every dog is different, and I believe in honoring that. Whether your pup likes to stop and sniff every inch of the sidewalk or prefers a brisk, energetic stride, I walk at their pace because a great walk isn’t about the distance, it’s about the experience. I’m comfortable walking multiple dogs at a time, making sure every single one enjoys their walk, gets the attention they deserve and takes care of their business. From the energy of a curious puppy to the gentle needs of a senior dog, I understand that every stage of life comes with its own needs and I embrace all of them with patience and care. But it doesn’t stop at the leash. I genuinely love spending quality time with dogs, whether that’s a relaxed afternoon cuddle on the couch or an enthusiastic play session with their favorite toys. I take the time to learn what makes each dog feel happy, safe, and loved. When you book with me, you’re not just hiring a dog walker or pet sitter. “I cannot recommend Marykay highly enough! Once again, she has gone above and beyond while watching our little dog, River, during our recent trip. Not only did she keep him incredibly happy and well-cared for, but she also managed to keep our house impeccably tidy. Her dedication and care are truly amazing. Thank you, Marykay, for being so wonderful!”

Windom pet parents share their Rover experiences
I cannot speak highly enough of Iris and the amazing care she took of our dog Maeve and our house for a week that we were away. Iris was incredibly attentive to detail, extremely communicative and just all around amazing. We would absolutely book with Iris again - she is the most trustworthy sitter we’ve ever experienced!

Zach was an excellent caretaker for Hazel. He communicated well throughout her stay and provided daily updates, which gave us great peace of mind. Hazel connected with Zach right from the meet-and-greet, and we immediately knew she would be in good hands. Zach was also very accommodating with the changes to our schedule and went above and beyond by washing the bedsheets and towels that were used during the stay. Zach’s thoughtfulness and attention to detail were truly appreciated. We would absolutely trust Zach to care for Hazel again and look forward to booking with Zach in the future.

Rachel took such phenomenal care of Kody. She sent regular updates and pics which helped us know he was in great hands and she kept Kody booked and busy, which helps tire him out so he's less worried about our absence. Rachel was a wonderful sitter who I'd absolutely book again!

Hallie was great; she was very flexible with the booking when I needed to make adjustments because our foster puppy was adopted right before she came to stay. She was very communicative and sent pictures and responded to me quickly. She even had painted a picture of our girl as a little gift! ☺️

Cody house sat for my three Pomeranians. This involved processing a fairly-involved set of instructions prior to the visit, as well as working with the three dogs' different needs and different levels of separation anxiety during the visit. Added to this list of responsibilities were a number of protocols to follow regarding the house itself, it being fairly old and replete with quirks. Cody did a great job on all accounts. I'd recommend them to anyone seeking pet care, and would be happy to have them care for my dogs again.
Savannah housesat for our senior kitty recently and was a real gem to work with! She was patient and kind and asked specific questions about care beforehand. When we had an unexpected house issue just before her stay, Savannah was understanding and flexible as we sorted it out. We received plenty of updates and photos while we were away, and felt assured that our kitty was in good hands. We would absolutely rebook with Savannah in the future!

Launa is an incredible pet sitter. She was very communicative and noticed that one of our cats was not feeling well and acted quickly to make sure that he was alright, and filled us in on any important details. It was a stressful situation, but knowing that our pets were in good hands made a huge difference.

Sky gives our pets so much love, snuggles, and care! Sky has been incredible to work with—Sky gives us fun updates and photos, and has been incredibly flexible when our return travel has been delayed. We can’t say enough good things about how Sky is trustworthy with our dog, cat, and home when we’re gone.
