**I am currently only accepting new clients with pets that have medical needs or have reactive pets.** A resident of the Twin Cities since 2016, my professional journey began in human emergency medicine as an EMT. My passion for animal welfare eventually led me to the veterinary field, where I spent years advancing from Veterinary Assistant to Clinic Supervisor. This background provided me with deep expertise in animal health, behavior, and the complexities of clinical management. I eventually chose to pivot from the fast-paced clinic environment to professional pet sitting to offer something the traditional veterinary industry often lacks: dedicated, one-on-one attention. This transition allows me to bring my specialized medical skills directly into your home, ensuring your pets receive the focused, high-level care they deserve in a stress-free environment. Because of my extensive clinical background, I offer a level of expertise that goes far beyond standard pet sitting. I am fully proficient in administering oral medications, eye drops, and injections, and I am highly experienced in the specialized care required for exotic species. My mission is to provide your pets with expert, medical-grade attention while ensuring they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you are away.

My care approach is strictly tailored to each pet's unique needs. For high-energy dogs, I prioritize physical exercise and mental stimulation through extended walks and interactive play. For senior pets, I focus on comfort and mobility management—this includes assisting them with stairs, providing gentle companionship, and ensuring their meals are prepared for easy consumption.

Sky did a great job with our clowder of cats. She was responsive and sent daily photo updates, letting us know how the cats were doing, and asking questions about things around the house as needed. I could tell from the photos that the cats enjoyed having her present, especially my very social cat, and even the cats who tend to be more shy (when a former feral-colony cat decides that sitting in the sun and watching a pet sitter instead of immediately running away, that says something good about the person).
Sky gives our pets so much love, snuggles, and care! Sky has been incredible to work with—Sky gives us fun updates and photos, and has been incredibly flexible when our return travel has been delayed. We can’t say enough good things about how Sky is trustworthy with our dog, cat, and home when we’re gone.

Schedule
Pet care isn't just a part of my routine—it is my full-time career and primary focus. Since I work through Rover full-time, I am available for the vast majority of the day to provide dedicated attention, exercise, and companionship. With house sitting I will stay overnight to ensure your pets feel secure and maintained in their normal evening routines. To keep my schedule transparent, here is how my typical week looks: Monday & Weekends: Fully available for daytime care and overnights. Tuesday: Available all day; I step out briefly in the evening for dinner with friends. Wednesday & Friday: Available morning and evening, with a standing commitment between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Thursday: Available all day, excluding a brief appointment from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Outside of these specific windows, my time is entirely dedicated to the animals in my care. I pride myself on being highly present and flexible to meet each pet's unique needs.
