I'm a graduate student who works part time so my schedule isn't too busy. I have a car and easy access to public transit so transportation is hardly an issue. I ask for advance notice so I can be transparent with my schedule!

A typical day
I love to play with pets! Whether it's throwing a ball, dangling a string, or running around the block I'm up for it. Additionally, as a student I have some reading to do frequently. It's not uncommon that I will read to pets when they want to cuddle and give them pets.

*Update 4/26: not taking new clients at the moment. If we've done a meet and greet, or I've taken care of your babies, I'd love to again!* I've been around dogs my entire life and taken care of them individually for 6 years. Whether they're big or small, young or old, I've seen and dealt with it all. I've cared for dogs with prominent allergies on multiple medications that have a strict routine and I've cared for dogs that prefer to go with the flow. Each and every one of them are like family to me and I'll treat them as such.

Wow. Wow, wow, wow! Sophia is the dog-sitter we never knew could exist. She came to our house to meet us and our dogs before we agreed to work through Rover and was so thoughtful, energetic, and curious about how we wanted her to be with our dogs and treat our home. We made her a nine-page house and dog-sitting guide and she followed every instruction to a T. She clearly enjoyed interacting with our dogs and we could tell from her daily updates that they were getting all the love, attention, and exercise they deserved. We even had a contractor start work on a back patio revamp while we were gone and she rolled with the punches. No access to the back yard anymore? No problem for Sophia – she'll just shift into walking with the dogs more, even in the hot summer time. The real bonus is she is a really good human. She has a wonderful heart to go along with her depth of knowledge of and care for dogs.
Once again, we are very pleased with Sophia's dog/house sitting. She's very responsive and checks in at least once daily with photos and humorous updates of our pup. We hope we'll be able to use her services again!
