About: My heart truly belongs to all animals! While I adore the energy and playfulness of dogs, whether it's a brisk walk at the park, a game of fetch, or cuddles on the couch, I also have a deep appreciation for the unique and independent spirit of cats. I'm skilled at understanding their needs, from a quiet, gentle presence to engaging with their favorite toys. You can absolutely trust me to treat your pet like family, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and happy in my care. Building that trusting bond with each animal is incredibly important to me, and I always prioritize their comfort and well-being, no matter their species. While I work full-time during the morning hours, my afternoons and evenings are wide open for providing your pet with the attention and care they need. I'm very flexible and happy to work around your schedule to ensure seamless and convenient care for your pet. When caring for your precious pet in their own familiar environment, my top priority is their comfort and security. I'll take the time to understand their routines and preferences, ensuring they feel relaxed and at ease with me around. Whether it's engaging in gentle play or providing a calm and reassuring presence, I'm dedicated to creating a positive and trustworthy experience for your pet in their own home.

About: I have taken care of large and small animals all my life! I have taken the responsibility of owning two dogs from a young age. I own a long haired chihuahua who will be 6 this year & recently started our training journey with a mini Aussie who will be 1 in a month. I have always been dedicated to my dogs! & now i want to be dedicated to your fluffy companion! I work evenings so mornings and late nights & off days are my usual free time. 2 off days during a week. I dedicate my mornings to care!! I have a very low trafficked dog park in my complex. No dogs are at my current address so your animal will receive all attention. I am very capable of continuing a routine or beginning one.

About: Time and love! Recently retired with nothing but time and excitement to care for others’ beloved pets, especially because I don’t currently have any of my own. I have a large, fenced in backyard in the quiet hill country. There is a lovely trail for taking walks, and I love to take the pups for rides in the car! I’m experienced in administering and staying on top of medications and treatments. My daughter has two dogs that she sometimes brings for visits. So, if your dog is social, there is an opportunity for playtime with fellow furry friends. Caring for your pets would be my one and only priority. I spend the majority of time at home, and exercise is very important to me so I hope your dog loves to walk! Safety and affection are priority. Keeping a close eye on your pet and always making sure all needs are met is a guarantee when you put them in my care!

About: I am a professional interdisciplinary artist who has worked and volunteered in the animal welfare field for over 30 years. I’ve worked as a vet-tech and kennel tech in shelters, as well as smaller clinics and rescues in Massachusetts and Texas. I grew up in a household with multiple cats and dogs. I am an advocate for bully breeds, and have owned pit bulls and pit mixes through much of my adult life. I treat all cats, dogs, exotics and other animals with utmost care, love, compassion, and patience, regardless of size, breed, and behavior. I am willing to do pick-up and drop-offs should you decide to board at my place and don’t want to drive all the way to Wimberley (for cats, small and medium sized dogs only). I have a clean driving record and am fully insured. I appreciate you giving me an opportunity to care for your furry kiddos, and look forward to it. Because I work from home I have a lot of flexibility for pet care. During boardings I stay home so you needn’t worry about your pets being left unattended. I live in a spacious, 2-bedroom home , on 10 fenced acres in Wimberley. I am self-employed and work from home when I’m not doing Rover appointments. If you choose to board your pet at my place I WILL stay home, so your dogs or cats will never be left unattended. I’m very tidy and do not leave anything laying around that could be a potential hazard for your fur babies. I have 2 large dog beds which I wash between uses. Cats can lounge wherever they’d like. I have excellent heat and AC. I also have a variety of toys for cats and dogs (which also get washed and sanitized), and keep a variety of healthy snacks and (rawhide-free) chews on hand, food and water bowls, as well as a couple litter boxes (litter choice is up to you). I also have a variety of harnesses (currently only for medium and large breed dogs) leads, and dog seat belts, clip-on lights for night walks. If you prefer your pet be crated while here you will need to supply the crate. ** Photos of house and interior upon request. The photos here are of the field in front of my place, where dogs can run and play (fenced in).

“My dog Cleo was happy to see her after the consultation. Cleo was hesitant to go back inside because the alarm was beeping in my home. But Lindsey was able to disarm the alarm at my request and coax Cleo in. Stellar job.”

Whether your companion is young or old, healthy or sick I guarantee I will take the best care of them. I have worked from home for years but am currently transitioning out of a career. Therefore I’m able to keep my availability very flexible & open. As a former Rover user, I know how hard it can be to find, trust, & like someone looking after your pet. Safety is #1, making sure directions are followed is key! I want them and you to be comfortable at all times.

“Becca is the one of the best sitters I've ever had. Besides possessing the basics: punctuality, good communication, and caring about my dog- she's gone above and beyond- especially with the training. My 75lb German Shepherd is a "puller" and it's always been a chore walking him. Gradually, Becca has been training him to walk loose on his leash. Hallelujah! She's also improved his recall and taught him new tricks like "touch." Summer afternoons in Austin are generally too hot for walking dogs. Becca came up with creative ways to exercise my boy so he could blow off some steam but still be safe in the heat. I highly recommend Becca! She's not only a fantastic walker but also a caring, humorous, and dedicated person.”

About: “I’ve had a lifelong love of dogs and years of hands-on experience caring for them. Families have trusted me to provide calm, consistent, and attentive care—from daily walks to feeding, bathing, and companionship.” As a long-time teacher, I find myself with extra time in the summer to keep caring for living beings—just the furry ones now. My flexible schedule allows me to offer attentive, reliable care throughout the week, work with your needs, and be available even at odd or last-minute hours. Because I have two cats at home who love their own space, I provide care in your pet’s home—where they’re most comfortable. I treat every animal as if they were my own, earning their trust (and yours) through calm presence, consistency, and loving attention to their needs.

Lisa F.
“I’ve known Lisa for several years now, and she’s married to one of my best friends, so I think I can also say I know her really well. Lisa loves dogs more than most humans, and I don’t think she’s ever met a dog she didn’t like. You know that person that says hello to every dog she sees out in public? That’s Lisa! She’ll be your pup's best friend within minutes of meeting. She is kind, caring, and patient, and you can trust me when I say that your four-legged child will be in excellent hands with her. Lisa also recently lost her main man, Bowden, so there’s a really good chance she’s gonna love on your dog better than you do. 😉 Book Lisa for some QT with your dog and let her get to lovin' on him/her!”

Indra L.
“I can’t recommend Indra enough as a responsible and loving pet caregiver. She stayed at my apartment for 10 days to look after my medium-sized dog, and she went above and beyond in every way. From sending me daily picture updates to giving my dog two walks a day—and, of course, endless love and cuddles—Indra made sure my pup was happy and well cared for the entire time. Indra has such a calm, warm demeanor that animals are naturally comfortable around her. Her background in early childhood education shines through in the way she’s attentive, patient, and truly treats pets like family. I felt completely at ease leaving town knowing my dog was in her care, and I came home to a very happy, relaxed pup.”
