About: I take dogs on trails and around the houses for moderate to long walks. I make sure they don’t get bored laying around the house. I like to go to the dog park. I provide affection to dogs. I have experience with big dogs, housesitting, dog sitting, cat sitting. Currently, I have 2 male cats. I had an Alaskan Malamute, Newfoundland, and Boston Terrier so I know that each dog has their own specific needs, but hyper dogs just need more exercise. I need information on how to much to feed them but the rest is mostly just personal information about your dog and cat and how much exercise they need. Thanks. I have a flexible work schedule and most days am done by 1pm or 2pm. My job is active and I lead an active lifestyle so I can keep up with dog walks and cat check-ins. I keep a close eye on the pet inside the home and listen to each direction very clearly. I ensure the animal’s needs are met.

About: Hi, I have been a dog owner pretty much my entire life & have been dog/house sitting for years. I have experience with small breeds & large breeds, young & elderly. I love to play fetch with dogs & take them for nice long walks/hikes. I am a work from home mom so I have great flexibility in my schedule. I am available for overnights, check ins, walks, & can have 2 well behaved dogs in our home. I am available to bring in trash cans, water plants, bring in mail, pick up dog poop, administer medicine & care for other pets in your home. I work from home, so I have a lot of flexibility in my day to care for animals. We have plenty of space in our home and can easily accommodate 2 well behaved dogs. I have a fenced yard and live near a great regional park that I love to take dogs out on walks to. I have a teen and tween daughter who also love animals and especially like to play and cuddle with.

About: I am an energy infrastructure development executive and entrepreneur who loves to do other work like this locally. I am an experienced, responsible, and fun family-oriented option for support, care, and love for your pets, as my 9 year old son will accompany me. I offer drop-in visits and walks. I have lived with and cared for cats and dogs most of my life - growing up with golden retrievers, yellow labs, a husky, German shepards, and a range of domestic short haired cats, including currently our amazing 1 year old cat named Knuckles. I enjoy meeting more great dogs and cats, and more neighbors by helping when folks are traveling, working long hours, or have other constraints. I work remotely most of the time and in an entrepreneurial environment so I inherently have flexibility in my schedule, and can fit pet care into my daily schedule I treat others homes and creatures as I would my own, and can be relied on without question. The core of everything is honesty and respect.

About: I grew up with all types of animals and I have worked as a kennel tech and certified veterinary assistant at multiple vet hospitals starting in 2020. All of this means I am equipped to handle any situation and any type of animal. I look forward to getting to meet your fur family! I am in Sonoma county for the summer before starting my second year of vet school in late September, so I am spending my free time pet sitting and dog walking! Whenever checking on pets in homes I will be able to ensure they are doing well and are safe and healthy. This includes everything from ensuring they have fresh water to making sure all doors or gates are closed so your pets are safe! I also love to take extra time to give them some love and play time to keep them mentally stimulated!

About: I’ve been obsessed with dogs my whole life. Growing up on a ranch, I was constantly surrounded by pups, some mine, some rescues, and all full of personality. I’ve cared for big dogs, nervous dogs, high-energy goofballs, and everything in between. I used to have a Great Pyrenees and a whole crew of German Shepherds, and now I’m just really missing having dogs around. I always follow any feeding, walking, and medication instructions to a T, and I’ll keep you updated with pics and notes so you never have to wonder how your pup is doing. I don't have dogs at home right now, so your pup will get my full attention without competition or stress. Whether your dog needs playtime, snuggles, or just someone calm and loving to hang with, I’m your girl! I work full-time from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, which means I’m available for evening check-ins, walks, or playtime during the week. I’m also free most weekends and would love to spend that time hanging out with your pets. Whether it’s a quick visit, a post-work walk, or some weekend company, I’m happy to help however I can! I know firsthand how important our animals are—they’re family. As a pet parent myself, I completely understand how nerve-wracking it can be to trust someone new with your pet. That’s why I go above and beyond to make you feel confident and comfortable every step of the way. I treat every animal like one of my own and make it a priority to follow your routines exactly, so your pet feels safe, relaxed, and loved in their own environment. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and always respectful of your home. You can count on me to show up when I say I will, give your pet the attention they deserve, and keep you updated so you never have to wonder how things are going.

About: "I've taken care of pets since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I love animals! Since I have a full-time job, I offer pet care services during evenings and weekends. This allows me to dedicate my free time to caring for pets, whether it’s evening walks, drop-in visits, or weekend sitting. I enjoy spending my downtime with animals, ensuring they get the attention, exercise, and care they need while their owners are away. My schedule is consistent, making it easy for pet owners to plan around my availability. In my clients’ homes, I follow their specific instructions to ensure their pets feel comfortable and maintain their usual routine. I provide plenty of playtime, walks, feeding, and any necessary care, like administering medication or following special dietary needs. I also keep the home tidy and send regular updates to reassure owners. Since I currently don’t offer pet care in my own home, I focus on providing the best care in the pet’s familiar environment, where they feel most at ease. I always prioritize safety, comfort, and lots of love to ensure a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners.

About: I love animals. I’m compassionate, caring, dependable, honest and sincere. I’ve been around dogs all of my life. I’m a mom of two boys, a caregiver and I also have two dogs of my own. Before starting a family, I volunteered at local animal shelters and worked at the Marin Humane Society for almost a year as an animal care technician. I believe that pets are an integral part of the family and should be treated as such. You can count on me to provide the best service for your pet. Have a “ pawsitively” wonderful day! I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! I’m currently looking for work after being a caregiver for my father for the past five years. As of right now, my availability is open. I have a fenced yard and a one level home. I have two small dogs of my own, a Jack Russel/chihuahua mix and a shitzu/maltese/bichon mix +

About: Experienced pet sitter. Experience with reactive dogs. Happy to give your dog extra care and attention. Fenced in front and back yard. Must be okay with another friendly dog in the home. I typically do a morning walk after breakfast, and a nighttime walk after dinner. If a dog is staying with me, I usually avoid middle of the day walks as the pavement outside can get hot on warmer days. However I do have a fenced in yard and a deck, which is cooler in the middle of the day if they would like to explore. I have a fenced in yard, and a metal crate is your dog is used to crate training. I have a 5 year old lab/ Shepard mix who loves to play, but could also keep him separated if requested. I have plenty of toys but you are also welcome to bring any toys with you, put they may get lost under our deck! Dogs are welcome on the furniture and just about anywhere as long as they are properly trained not to potty on furniture!

About: I have been around animals all my life, particularly big dogs. My family has always had big dogs (Bernese Mountain dogs and labradors), but I share the love with all sizes! Helping train our family dogs has also given me confidence not only in handling animals, but also the knowledge to ensure safe engagement with them and others. No animal is "problematic" they all just require (and deserve) specific attention and patience. I personally enjoy the company of animals, so it's a win-win if I get to hang out with your pet! I'm an active person and like to invite my furry friends along for fun too. I'll run with them to get out their zoomies, play fetch for hours, or go on nice long strolls along the neighborhood. I enjoy getting outside as much as the dog does, so this is a mutually beneficial experience! I work from home, typically schedule my own meetings, and have a flexible schedule! I enjoy getting out of my house to go on walks of my own, so its even better to have some furry company! I understand that life happens and sometimes we need extra support, even last minute. So I'm here to help out with all the things life throw our way. When interacting and engaging with animals, especially new ones, patience and slowness are my virtues. I understand animals and that you're doing your best for them. Whether they just need some love while you're away, or you want me to reinforce training that you're working on, I take your needs very seriously.

About: I am a fish biologist, but love all animals. I am new to Rover, but my friends and coworkers regularly rely on me to care for their pets. I have cared for dogs with special needs, such as epilepsy, senior dogs and puppies. I have done basic dog training courses with my 30 lb tripod dog and volunteered walking dogs at my local shelter. I will treat your furry family member with love and care! I work remotely from 8-4:30 pm most weekdays, so I’m available to provide attention and fun for your pet most of the day. I usually go to the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but I may be able to accommodate if your pet cannot be alone very long. I am an active person and would love to take your dog to the park or beach or for walks on trails, if they do well in those settings. If your dog is lower energy, I can match that energy too! I am excellent at following directions and will follow your pets normal schedule. I am observant and will pay attention to your dog’s well-being. You can expect clear and consistent communication if you trust me with your furry family member. House sitting: I am happy to take your dog for multiple walks a day and accommodate special food or medication schedules. I am a respectful, clean, non-smoker, in my 30s. I work from home on weekdays, so would just require internet access. Boarding: If you prefer to board at my place, I live on a partially fenced, three acre property in the forest with my partner, Troy, another fish biologist. We have chickens in a fenced in area, a dog and an indoor/outdoor cat. There is a creek between our house and the street. I usually take my dog out for two walks a day and outside in the yard with supervision, or unsupervised in a completely fenced in porch where she loves to sunbathe.

Marti F.
“I have trusted Marti with my dog for over 5 years. When I travel, I know that my pup is in good hands, and my routine I have with my dog will continue to be respected. When I come back, my dog is not exhausted like he was when I used to board him. This shows that he was well taken care of, and not stressed. My pup also eats at Marti’s, when he didn’t eat at his boarding kennel. I have nothing but good things to say about Marti as a sitter.”

Logan F.
“We used Logan as a pet sitter for a 16 day trip. We have a cat and an elderly dog that requires daily medication. Logan was wonderful with our pets and willing to work with our elderly terrier who can be quite the curmudgeon! Logan also took great care of our home, watering plants, gathering mail etc. Logan clearly loves animals and meets them where they are in terms of the care they need. Our cat is fairly independent but our dog likes company even though he can be grumpy. Logan hung out with him and made sure he was well taken care of. We would use Logan again in a heart beat!”

Monica T.
“I have been friends and colleagues with Monica for nearly a decade, she is trustworthy, thoughtful, and caring. She has watched my dog, Echo, on a number of occasions. Echo is high energy and has epilepsy- she requires medication throughout the day to manage her condition. Monica follows Echo's medication schedule closely, and Echo always comes home tired after playing with Monica's friendly dog, Phoenix. Echo adores Monica, and I know she's in good hands!”
